The more I hear from Smith, the more I like him. Feeling good.
I didn’t know much about coach Smith before he got here. That was a great interview. Gives me so much confidence in him!
Coach Arthur Smith, is a proven OC, he got the head coaching job, with atl, falcons, bc of his time with the titans

The excitement that was evident in his face when speaking about the organization and being mentored by various members of the organization really makes me think we hit a home run with this hire. He just seems like a football guy and like an actual friggin' coach!!!
While it is impossible to see the results before the season, Smith strikes me as a guy who sees his past as something to learn and grow from as opposed to overcome. I think he is going to do well here in Pittsburgh. I expect to see Freiermuth as a wideout quite a bit this season. I also expect to see some interesting two back formations.

Still cant believe we finally ended the Canada experiment. Been a fan for a decade and it’s refreshing seeing the team move on from the “same ol same ol” mindset. Russ and Smith are about to light it up. Great year to be a Pitt fan, here we go!!!

You can see why he was a head coach, and probably will be a head coach again , yea it didn’t work out in Atlanta , but he has a great mind set

I've watched some of his other interviews and it seems he's getting more comfortable. Saw more of his personality that players like about him, he's smart and careful with his words. Excited to see his coaching product.....unlike Canada he has a personality.
i'm pretty sure they're gonna make a run for it this year! if they can get to the playoffs with third string quarterbacks last year, they got a real good chance this year!

Him and Russ are going to mesh like Russ Brian Schottenheimer a lot people forgot how much Brian Russ gelled together. Smith is one of those.

I got a good feeling about this dude the more I look In to what he was trying to do the more I like it !!! I seen he was putting gp in the slot and that’s very smart I see he knows how to move receivers around to make mismatches and I know that’s something simple but we been stuck under Canada for so long everything just look great compared to him just putting gp on the outside all the time

In short we basically went from the worst offensive coordinator, a guy with no experience straight from college. To one of the best offensive coordinators you could ask for, who has head coaching experience. Sold! I'm in.

@@stevepickering9697 I think he wins one this year. Russel with an upgraded OLine. Two very good RB and the WR’s. And a Defense that is younger and more hungry.
You can teach a quarterback fundamentals all you want but if under pressure in the heat of battle they fall back into their old habits there's not really much you can do to reverse that
