      @@BIM-Life Hi, while the facade is amazing I love how you create a family for it, however I was more thinking about construction joints details for example, external wall to roof, foundation to ground floor or even etc etc when you create a revit callout for the 2d detail and try make a 3D one it’s not looking good unless you do more work on it with adding components or create masses.

If I want to make the gap from small to large in diagonal way rather than moving from down to up , then what script can be added in this case.in diagonal way means like hole size is small in one corner and then keep on increasing as it moves vertical,horizontal nd diagonal direction. It depends, you have to set walls as demolished in new construction Phase. And also set the correct Phase for quantity schedule. Overall it's safe if you follow these steps.

    Amazing!This is the most amazing revit related video I've watched on TH-cam by far.I've learned so much: 1 pattern based family can be more powerful and efficient compared to adaptive component. 2 using mass and pattern based component can also make this complex form without dynamo 3 when creating families,model line can solve unexpected errors compared to reference line 4 when populate complex forms,use different family instead of one family with different types.I have used different families but I don't know this benefits. But I also have some questions: how could you import form generated in dynamo,and model it as a mass,the video plays fast and English is not my native language,am I missing somethin?

    • @BIM-Life
      @BIM-Life ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thank you for kind words! I really appreciate that! I use this Dynamo Node: dynamonodes.com/2016/02/14/form-byloftcrosssections/ But you have to be in Mass Family project to be able to use this. After the Form is created, load the Family into the Project you want.
