If you lose air flow from system and you hear blower running but very little air flow so take the 3 screws out of motor on passenger side and reach up inside where bower came out and grab the broken blend door may have to spin it to get out put motor back in and full return of max air flow. That is the dumbest thing you can do to your truck just pull dash and hvac box and replace everything and put Dlend door USA they are made of aluminum cnc machined and they will last a life time and replace everything heater core evaporator and all the actuators and only use the factory ones they are the best Dorman are junk. So good luck!
I just did that to remove my broken blend door. It was very easy. I got my replacement on order. Did you have to take the actuator off to put the new door in? Thanks
There you have it Zip Zip , Doing your own work 101 remember ,you can't get at anything ,to get at this you have to remove that ,to get at that you have to remove something else ,and don't forget your going to break something probably one of the electrical connectors .
You guys are bigger tools than my biggest monkey wrench. Good luck getting that clean of a cut with a Dremel while it's still in the dash. The director deserves an Emmy for opting for the fix shown on the bench instead. That fix has bigger problems with it than the original issue at hand.
So how is this going to save me any money? I still have to remove the whole plenum. Which is the same thing the dealership would have to do also. You guys are scamming.
Show how you replace that while it's still in the truck!
I would have liked to have this kit for my '97 Cherokee. I had exactly same issue with its blend door.
