One of my favourite jokes. I love dbd, I run around in the forest chasing innocent and hopeless survivors, hanging them on meet hooks and downing them with my throwing hatchets. Then I go home to my computer and start playing dbd

Reminds me of the time I was in a lobby against a Demo with Devour, Undying, Ruin, and Thrill with portals on each at Ormond (paired with two randos). Even with my one friend and I trying to coordinate on comms, neither one of us could break any of his last 3 totems. It was either tear down the portal and get caught before we could break them, or skip the tunnels and get pinned against a wall when he emerged. Has to be one of the most hopeless matches I've ever faced.

That opening showed me my new favorite DBD cereal, Frosted SpookyLoopz.
I remember going against a demo with this kind of build before, was a brutal match but really fun. I like that this kind of playstyle with defending a hex is something that pretty much only demo can do, and it makes me wish I got into dbd when the stranger things dlc was still available.
Not to the same level, but there is a Pyramid Head build you can do to try to get a similar effect:
Perks:
-Hex: Undying
-Hex: Devour Hope
-Eruption
-Call of Brine
Add ons:
-Mannequin Foot
-Lost Memories Book
The idea is that you can pick a totem that gives a better 3 gen, mark the ground in front of it with Rites of Judgement, which is active for 95 seconds, and play close enough that they can't effectively pressure your totem. If they start cleansing, they will guaranteed become tormented and will be oblivious for 15 seconds due to Lost Memories Book. You can use this to get Punishment shots or to sneak up on them, or discourage them from pressuring. If you down someone, you have a choice to either cage them, which creates map pressure and allows Call of Brine to shine, or hook them if it is optimal. All it takes is 3 hooks far enough from the totem, because you have a built in Mori if they pressure the totem, and if they don't, then you can get 1 hit downs and get more hooks more easily. Also, survivors losing torment to uncaging others doesn't matter much on this build.

That's not how undying works though
You get a hex totem on the map that makes it so you see auras of people near any kind of totem still intact. But as for the main purpose of the perk - any cleansed/booned hex will always be first undying under any circumstance. So, with devour houp you get 2 hexes - either of them is devour hope, but when destroyed, only undying will be consumed, and the other one will be left standing as devour/any other hex. So you don't need to worry about both totems.
