Welcome back to the Ultimate Hardcore Killer Challenge Episode 2!
In this video I head into day 2 of my Hardcore Killer challenge after losing Clown, Freddy, and The pig. Currently battling through bronze grades I decide to pick some of the more famous killers in Dead By Daylight!

RULES :
If a survivor escapes the trial either by exit gate or by hatch, that killer I am playing dies and cannot be used for the rest of the challenge.
Every killer must use the same build and are not allowed to use any addons or offerings.
If I run out of killers before reaching Iridescent I, the challenge is over
All matches will count towards challenge which include survivor bots, lag issues, or stream snipers.
Matches that include blatant cheating or lag switches will not be counted.

You should definitely drop hatch escapes as a loss. It essentially punishes you for getting the survivors and draws out the game with slugging for the four-man

Nah, I actually like it. I see hatch as a loss for killer anyway. All he has to do is slug for the 4k.

It is because the 4th survivor e4scaped and won and you can't have 2 people on opposite teams winning at the same time. Someone has to win and the other has to lose. A 3k is a loss for the killer. @@davileonardo4462
Honestly I think it should be a loss if "anyone gets out the door" cause hatch spawns do be BS. Either way it's an awesome idea and I'm excited to see where it goes.

@@egomorph980 Fair enough, I just think ultimately it's not a fun rule, it turns end games into a slugging match which he didn't seem to enjoy doing, and I know survivors don't like. Though the flex will be insane if he pulls it off.

@@markpozsar5785 That's an interesting take. Challenges aren't supposed to be fun? That's why dark souls is the least popular game ever, it's challenging... oh wait... but achievement hunting is unpopular because those challenges aren't fun... but I'm sure that mods that increase the challenge like Fallout 3s survival mod would never be added to the base game(s) because it's not meant to be fun...
My point is that it's (in my mind) a rule that doesn't add fun or challenge. I figured even the most Myopic individual would see Slugging isn't hard. It's not a challenge, but it is the answer, so it's not a challenge, and it's not fun so why add it. Maybe it makes good suspense and content which okay, and it's not my challenge so not my rules, so ultimately I'm just a voice in hundreds, voicing what I think.

@@VampiPink It's not hard in the sense it's related to skill though, hatch is completely arbitrary and random, you can't play around it. Requiring a 4K or you lose is just setting yourself up for insane suffering and praying to RNJesus.

I never slug for a 4k, its extremely boring and tedious to the survivors. For a challenge of this magnitude, he has to or lose a killer due to a hatch. Really no fix to this because you cannot have a re-trial because you can't take away pips earned from said trial. Spookys' way at approaching this challenge is the most difficult and fun to watch. I would like for him to change up perks, but then again I would like for him to beat this challenge on his own terms.
I slug for the 4k every game because I hate losing to random chance. I don't care how boring it is for the survivors, they are toxic pieces of shit anyways.
I would lose all my killers on my 10th match somehow 😭🤣

This is a cool series, I think doing it without any add-ons isn’t a good idea. The game was made with the idea that you can use add-ons and they can use items. You are already at a huge disadvantage with needing all 4 dead to not lose the killer.
that is what I am saying. if I compare to HC survivor rules though it is kinda the same except for the 4k rule since most HC surv challenge usually have fresh accounts. the 4k rule though is brutal since hatch is a random chance thing you really didn't need to add to the difficulty. he has lost a couple killers to that factor alone.

Not rlly the killer is always faster so its buffing the killer way more
The speed difference between the killer and Survivors is very minimal. Survivors have 20+ pallets, vaults, 3 other teammates and combined 16 perks vs 4... the speed argument makes no since to any experienced DBD player.

This is a fun series. 🙂 Couple of quick thoughts if you do it again next season
- Don't count hatch escapes toward losing a killer. Counting the hatches is just forcing you to slug the last two survivors which you obviously don't like doing because you don't think it's fun. So just ignore hatch escapes and only eliminate a kill if a survivor gets out the gates. It'll make the challenge slightly easier but also make the matches more fun for you and make the endgame a little shorter which will cut out some of the duller parts of late stages of a match.
- If after this season you feel comfortable making the challenge slightly easier, allow yourself to use add-ons. You can always impose a restriction on yourself what types of add-ons you're allowed to use to fine tune it as well (e.g. no red or purple add-ons allowed). The challenge as a whole is probably hard enough though where you could include some add-ons you enjoy for additional spice.
- To mix up the variety a little more, instead of using the same perk loadout for every single killer, maybe try an Adept challenge where for each killer you use their three signature perks plus a fourth generic perk of your choice (e.g. Trapper would use Brutal Strength, Agitation, Unnerving Presence, and a fourth perk of your choice). It would be kind of a cool theme to try while also keeping the notion of limiting your choice of perks for the matches.

If he wants the 4k that bad to move on, he could bring a hatch offering each match, making it an equal challenge for him and the last survivor, and eliminating this boring ass slugging.

just to add a bit of consistency, i think it would be interesting if the fourth perk had to be (optionally the same, since spooky apparently likes to torture himself) a generic perk, not a killer exclusive one. idk why it just seems like itd add a new level bc i dont see a lot of generic perks being used so i have to assume they arent that great (i dont play v often 😭)

I'm really enjoying this series, and enjoying that there is a series to follow in general. Multipart content of a continuing goal is very enjoyable.

Always looking forward to some good stuff to watch and relax too. I have a feeling this will be one of my favorite series.
I'm coming back to this game as a killer main (I play survivor too, but I find the killer gameplay more diverse) after a long time of not playing. I'm glad to see bots finally being introduced, not just as a practice/training tool, but as a way to combat chronic rage disconnectors. It's not always as good as having an actual player in that slot, but it's better than being a man down.
I have to say I also really like the idea of this challenge! Kicks the difficulty up a notch.

While I agree with the hatch lose being brutal, it brings a different level of intense pressure that I can almost feel Spooky gets kicks from. So while we may want him to win alot, this is where the Challenge comes from.

Everyone is talking about his hatch rule, which is admittedly insane. But not enough people are talking about how he’s doing this on his high MMR main account! Just about every version of this I’ve seen has been on a brand new account so the first half of the games in the challenge are fairly easy. Honestly his hatch rule wouldn’t have even been as insane if he had started on a fresh account, especially with the semi separate MMRs of each killer. The man is a legend.

I feel like the hatch escapes aren't fair when you have a match like Myers where you are just spanking the survivors and you lose to RNG. Props to you for not slugging, but I think 3 sacrifices with no gates opened, but hatch escape is a win

I think the Hatch Stipulation is pretty harsh as it's not something you can control outside of survivors bringing an offering. But hey it's your challenge. Looking forward to the next episode.

Its cool how you changed up the hardcore killer rules like usually people start it on a new account with no perks but you did it on your account at your mmr with set perks it makes your run original and different from the rest
Sad days on midwitch and losing Doc, but man that endgame hope got me yesterday as well. Hope literally out ran Coup de gras lol. Btw, coup has saved me so many games with M1 type killers. Its becoming one of my fav perks along with im all ears

Bad luck getting Trapper on Leery's. I was amused that you put your traps down in the same places I usually do when I'm playing him on that map though.
