Fun story: I actually bought this glove while in Japan, the man that makes them is very kind and prideful about his gloves, his office is in a very unassuming part of outer Tokyo and we just talked shop for a while, he told me I was only the 2nd person ever to personally pick up a glove at his office, he broke in the glove in front of me using the methods showed in the video. The glove is still super stiff but it is so pretty and the leather is high end, and it cost less than 20000 yen which is incredible value imo.

Any plans to review SSK gloves? With most of their gear it doesn’t seem to get as much coverage. A weird space in the market at the midpoint price point
I second this! I live in the Netherlands and the. closest baseball store (still an hour away) is an ask store. I’ve got a ssk redline outfield mitt that is amazing and an older ssk caters mitt that is great as well.
Especially for the price, the gloves have great leather and are made well

This glove is one of the most unique gloves ive seen (MY OPINION). THe web doesnt really matter on a glove and I agree, it's the model and how you shape it. Loving the vids.

the easton JR11 is so weird, it plays wayyyyy bigger than 12” I use it in the OF, but it doesn’t really have a great pocket and the thumb stall in kinda flimsy. Looking forward to your vid on it 🙏 (Oniel Cruz is using it at SS atm for the pirates, and of course Jram)

@@ballgloveking Sent you what I got on insta, the one jose uses on the field is slightly different then the one easton sells to public, believe oniel uses that one too. Check out the pics, believe would have to be though, only other professional H-web model easton sells in the Kevin Pillar and it’s 12.75”

I watched a Wilson glove day from along time ago, I believe it’s the one where Aso breaks in Brandon Phillips ghost with red welting glove on the same way as BP and he broke the pinky in that way

Posted this on an older video but worth repeating! What are your thoughts on using a massage gun to assist in glove break in? I find that it works like an automated mallet so I can mindlessly sit on the couch holding it in the spots I want and get the same result as if I pounded with the mallet, but do you see any downsides to this approach?
More common than you’d think. Just don’t get too mindless and get the same spot too much

just bought one of his 11.75 red and black with the v web and it is probably the stiffest glove i have ever purchased but it looks insanely beautiful
How was the break in?
@@loslosthuy it took a while but it feels great. I broke it in with 2 hinges and a monster pocket. It holds shape however you break it in perfectly. Sarna conditioner will be your best friend

@@loslosthuy Feels great on the hand, sucks up balls like a vacuum, dollar for dollar I don't think there is a better glove out there. The leather is beautiful, the break-in does take time since it is pretty "pro stiff" when you get it. If I trusted the hot water process it might have broken in faster but I took my time, and a glove mallet, to make sure it was perfect.

I have a couple questions. First let me thank you for all you do. Love that you don't hide your love for the lord and love you're a dad that still loves to play. If you had to choose one glove to buy for your son in high school. He's a second/shortstop player. What would be your choice? He has a a2000, a 11.25 pro 44 jp11. We just love new gloves. The real reason I ask is he is a single hinge player. We have a toro, this glove and a mizuno. We are open to any.

I recently ordered a 44 pro and I ordered pro stiff thinking i could break it in not that quick but a least be able to close it in a week or two I’ve just beat it up with a mallet as hard as a could and I still can’t close it do you have any tips?
