I accidentally switched Gyeonju World & SFNE! Pretend that didn’t happen…
Fun Spot america orlando kinda confirmed its them getting it, someone commented on one of their tiktoks saying add an rmc raptor and they replied with "we are"
That makes sense considering AF1s success
This year showed that RMC is maturing as a company. Fire in the Hole is technologically more sophisticated than anything they’ve built before (yes, even Lightning Rod). Plus this year, they’ve introduced a new family coaster model AND they’ve merged with another company so now they can add flat rides to their portfolio. 2024 may not seem like the most impressive year for RMC from an enthusiast perspective, but it does mean that the company is making moves to be more sustainable.
Yes I agree. There’s someone important stuff happening for them
More sleeper guesses for the US Raptor:
Fun Spot Orlando in Orlando, Florida
Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio
Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky
Lake Compounce in Bristol, Connecticut
Magic Springs in Hot Springs, Arkansas
Morey's Pier in Wildwood, New Jersey
Playland in Rye, New York
Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia
Wild Water West in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
I've had the Wild Adventures thought before. I want one there mainly since Cheetah has been gone for a while and a Raptor with RailBlazer type trains named Cheetah Chase would be great.
There have been markers just recently spotted at Kentucky Kingdom that could be the area of a potential new ride.
Ayy you got the phantoms revenge in the intro im going to be riding that today at kennywood.
Hope you had fun!
You refer to Stunt Pilot as the prototype, but I'm pretty sure it was a custom modification to the Wonder Woman/ Railblazer prototype making it slightly less intense to accommodate 2 more cars for slightly better capacity. Either way, it looks like the one for the US and Korea will be one of 3 models.
Yeah I understand what you mean, I was just referring to that generalized layout
There's always that waterpark in South Dakota that was planning to get one. Supposedly, they still want to make it happen, it's just been on hold for a couple years now. Maybe it's just wishful thinking as a SD resident (wouldn't matter much though, I live on the other aide of the state anyways), but there's always that chance they go through with it finally.
Gyeongju world is probably the only korean park which keeps investing on roller coasters.
I think king’s island would be a great place for a custom raptor in the future
The back of my mind this whole video was Knoebels. They are coming up on an anniversary soon and I would love a new ride there
Assuming they got their zoning/land problems worked out I can fully see Kentucky Kingdom getting one for the T3 plot
My bet for the american coaster is firmly on Kentucky Kingdom. I'm biased obviously because it's my home park, but they've expressed interest in getting a raptor since 2018, and a plot of land just opened up where T3 once stood.
He's back!
More to come soon!
I always assumed that Booth international coasters were the ones as walibi with the custom one being the family one and the normal one being the high thrill one.
My first thought was SFNE, it would be such a wonderful fit for the park!
4:50 Might just be an announcement date, not an opening date. It's says "What's next" Then a date. Feels more like an announcement time.
I wish Darien Lake got this as a "welcome back" from Six Flags
That’d be great!
I think they will
I could see Lost Island receive Railblazer from CGA since they will be closing in the future as of SFNE I could see one but not 2025 maybe some type of Vekoma but I could see KK getting one for the 2025 because they almost got one but Covid cancelled it (for my understanding) but also Fun Spot Orlando since they teased a post on their social media (I believe it’s on Twitter/ X)
Lost Island announced an Raptor for 2025
If SFNE were to get a RMC single rail, it’ll likely be a Stunt Pilot clone assuming it fits in the old Goliath plot of land
Wild Cars Dark Horse Prediction. Six Flags Great Escape. Apparently RMC were the ones brought in to do the lift refurbishment on The Comet, soooo maybe just maybe it’s part of some sort of contract agreement. Now I know there is like a 1% chance of this being the case but it would be interesting.
Could it not be that the 2 international Raptors not be at Wallabi since they are supposed to be getting 2 of them? Are we sure those 2 spots are intended to indicate 2 separate parks?
Two separate parks! Like I mentioned we are pretty much sure that both Walibi & Gyeongju World will be getting Raptors
There seems to be Raptor track stored at Gyeongju World, so it is highly likely one of the internationals will be at GW. But Walibi 2x was my first thought, too.
i really hope SFNE gets the raptor considering it's my home park (for thrills at least) and the fact that they won't have gotten a coaster in over eight years by next year
But what if Lost Island somehow got the funding for both a Raptor AND Wild Moose, with the later currently not being teased by anyone as they want to make a huger reveal out of it?
The Park kinda teased both of them, RMC would have an interest to get the first Wild Moose in a Park. Potentially giving a place like Lost Island a solid discount on the Moose would be a Win-Win for both side because RMC would have one out there giving potential customers the chance to look at the product while giving Lost Island a, at least for a while, completely unique coaster.
If I was a betting man I would bet that it's coming to one of the fun spot parks in Florida
I feel like the raptor could go to fun spot Orlando as fun spot has been working with rmc and raptor would really benefit the park.
Yes
I agree!
Not a bad guess. I like the Kissimmee park better honestly.
More than Six Flags New England, Six Flags America needs a new coaster. It been 20 years since they got a new one?? They have a pretty good 1-2 punch with Superman Ride of Steel and the classic woodie Wild One but Superman is dated and Wild One is a hoot but it's a 100 year old woodie. It accents the Park, it shouldn't be the mainstay.
They have decent other coasters (Jokers Jinx, Phoenix, Batwing, and Roar plus family oriented wild mouse Ragin Cajun. Mind Erasure is horrid (and it may be closed). But these are all old and copies of other coasters. A smaller RMC (or a RMC convert of Roar) plus another new coaster (a B&M!?!?) would do the Park wonders.
They have room, are the home park for 2 large metro areas, and quite a scenic location. But they compete with excellent parks within a gas tanks drive (Kings Dominion, Hershey Park, Bush Gardens to name a few). They would actually draw in customers from those other parks with two new ones. I'm not sure why they are satisfied with staying so stagnant??
Funspot Orlando is my guess for America.
Six Flags America would be nice but I see a Vekoma Super Boomerang going there. They could bring back Two Face
I like that!
One half painted orange and the other half painted purple, flip the colors for the supports… could actually fit real well right by batwing
I hope a raptor goes to Hersheypark
how did he put a coaster going to south korea in the united states one
hoping wild waves gets one in 2027 for their 50th anniversary
Wasn't one of those Raptors bought by a Water Park in South Dakota or something?
Yeah so that never materialized & ended up being bought by Silverwood as Stunt Pilot
@@amusementscape Oh, I thought Stunt Pilot was the coaster that Fred Grubb was going to install at his house for his grandkids.
What if kings island or Kentucky kingdom got a raptor?
Great vid! I noticed you put the credits of my video in the video, however not in the description. Can you add me there as well maybe? Anyways, no worries!
Thanks! My bad, I thought I had you there, my apologies!
Great America gets a large raptor or Kentucky Kingdom gets a small one
SFNE’s raptor is most likely to be on the Goliath plot.
Agreed. I can see one the size of Stunt Pilot since it’s big enough to fit one in.
No way in hell is Lost Island getting one, but I’ll happily eat my words if it’s true
I don’t think SFGAm is getting the Raptor. I think it will be Lost Island Theme Park.
SFNE IS GETTING IT
How do you know
I say it's going Six Flags New England I really hope Six Flags Great America will get a Dive roller coaster ride
Please no dive coaster. We need a vekoma looper to replace demon or an intamin vertical launch in the pirate spot. A dive wouldn’t be the end of the world, it would just make SFGAm less unique, something the park desperately needs. - I do not t think we’re getting anything for 2025, I’m predicting an update of Kidzopolis or county fair in general.
I could also see a mini Dive at New England!
SFNE WW/Railblazer clone or SFGAM WW/JD clone
In the United States you put China
Whoops! My bad!
