When a true Artist listens to Dimash for the first time. You can see they are overwhelmed with all his technical abilities that you have to watch the video 10 times to understand all what he has performed. Even Wikipedia has a hard time keeping up with all his accolades. Dimash is in a league all by himself. A true shining Star⭐ with a Big Heart💝

I can only admire few singers and artists and call them 🌟 like Elvis,Freddie from Queen,Whitney Houston,Etta James,Michael Jackson ,and Dimash and there is another singer who sings Opera - Vitas
But I can't anybody from 21 century modern singers who I would admire, maybe Adam Lambert

For those who like information about Dimas' songs:
Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poetess Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboardist, who we see in the video that accompanies Dimash.
    Hugs from Brazil!

Don't ever be fooled by his body language. He is an actor. We've seen him many times bent over and produce a huge note, and then stand up and fold his arms while maintaining the same note. He is very dramatic 😅
Back then he had to add fry to access those lower notes. Now, he can comfortably sing them. His commitment to keep developing his voice is truly inspiring

Now age 30, Dimash has trained classically/operatically for over 25 years.
Born with perfect pitch, and the ability to listen to a classical piano arrangement and put it on the keyboard were part of his gifted abilities. Before age 5, his grandparent enrolled him in Kazakhstan's premier music school for youth.
This was where his education began. He is academically brilliant having completed
his Doctoral studies in the spring of 2023.
Though highly gifted, he dedicated himself to his craft as a wee child and has from that day forward spent hours a day in vocalizing and training his vocals cords so that he can now easily claim 8 highly usable octaves of range though he will not discuss it.
He has, as i obvious, trained in contemporary and pop vocals.

👉 Part 2: In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone, not only in China. His first album was certified 1x platinum in 37 seconds, 3x platinum in 47 minutes and 5x platinum in one day. (Each country has its own regulations)
He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today, Dimash is his country's "cultural ambassador" and a "national treasure" (no official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot and is passionately committed to peace in the world.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in Kazakh familys. He speaks 3 languages: Kazakh (mother tongue), Russian without an accent (second language in Kazakhstan) and English. So far he sings in 16 languages (phonetically). Dimash says dancing is difficult for him. But he moves great on stage and his hands speak. He is a grandiose and sensitive story teller. Dimash trains his voice 3-4 hours every day...but he says: "You don't have to know how hard I've worked, you just have to enjoy the results."
In professional circles, Dimash is considered a lyrical baritone with a typically wide range. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor (Falsetto)but as a natural soprano (Head voice). He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano.
His current pitch range is G0 - D8 (outside the piano), 7,7 octaves! At least that's what Dimash shows us so far. 😃
    * Video about his vocal range: th-cam.com/video/7mo_MJbGSjw/w-d-xo.html
    * Video about his voices, genres etc. - th-cam.com/video/iIeF-fr8vfk/w-d-xo.html
Dimash's 'heavenly' vocal abilities, from bass to coloratura soprano, are difficult to classify. They are not only limited to the enormous range of over seven octaves and the mixture of all musical genres, but it is also the incredible command of his voice and the ability to touch people emotionally and surprise them again and again. Such skills are very rare and can only be acquired, maintained and perfected through relentless and never-ending training.
    „DIMASH-SHOW. INSPIRATION” Dokumentary - th-cam.com/video/MLZzOPZ2KWE/w-d-xo.html
Dimash doesn't drink alcohol and of course he doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink iced drinks and he doesn't like socks. He loves fire and water on stage, of course only as stage sets. 🤣 Dimash works out regularly to stay in shape - especially he loves swimming and playing tennis.
A dear once gave him knee pads, but Dimash says he's so deep into his songs that he doesn't feel any pain. 😃
Dimash is a very handsome, attractive man and is on the list of the most handsome men in the world (2018). He is a popular model all over the world. The best designers in the world court him and are inspired by his music. He doesn't just wear her creations on stage.
Dimash is humble, kind, generous, respectful, reserved and very, very hardworking. He gives a lot of his time and money to charity, supports people in need and always does it quietly. We Dears only find out because some people feel the need to talk about it.
Dimash is a megastar. He has the largest active fan base in the world, over 10 million Dears in fan clubs in 142 countries, women and men aged 9 to 90 around the world. (documented)… and at least millions and millions Dears who are not organized in the fan clubs. (In an interview his Dears were estimated at two billion.)
“DIMASH SHOW. UNIVERSE OF DEARS” Documentary - th-cam.com/video/4SexPGqVWtc/w-d-xo.html
Dimash calls us "Dears" because we are just as important and dear to him as his own family. The fan clubs are not like those of other artists. They don't just cheer for Dimash. They return Dimash's love and emulate him. They strive for good manners and help people who are not doing well or they are committed to the environment. The Dears do their part to make the world a better place. This connects Dimash and his dears around the world.
What can't he do? Oops, he can't cook! 😃 Did I forget something? Oh yeah! He sings all the time, all day! He sings because he has to, it's his life.
Go on the journey. He will surprise you every time, touch your heart, nourish your soul or blow you out of your chair. Handkerchiefs are always recommended, even for hard metal heads! Be careful and hold on tight when Dimash pulls out the left earbud! Meet Dimash, his singing, his diversity, his development, his human size, his humility, his love for his dears.
A dear commented: "Dimash deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his tireless promotion of world peace for peoples around the world." One can only agree!
    * FULL SPEECH AT FORUM IN ASTANA (2022) - th-cam.com/video/2C55a3mvfPI/w-d-xo.html
Please NEVER react to The World's Best videos!
For TV viewers, the songs are terribly mangled and edited together. Most Dears boycott the videos because they know the backstory: Dimash left the show before the finale and his assured victory, turning down a record deal and $1 million in prize money. In his culture, adults do not compete with children. The organizers lied to him when he signed the contract and later humiliated him. Eyewitnesses here: th-cam.com/video/XQgCJBnRvVk/w-d-xo.html
(K or Q? - Dimash was first known in Russia and China. There is no Q in the Russian alphabet (Cyrillic script) or in Chinese hieroglyphs. Now he is known worldwide and his name is written with Q in Latin script. Kazakhstan is also in the process of switching to the Latin alphabet. So both are correct, in countries with Cyrillic script: Kudaibergen, in all countries with latin alphabet: Qudaibergen.)
There are good, great, excellent singers and there is DIMASH!

Igor has never retired and continued to work in the music industry past his formal retirement age working with several huge stars in Russia, tv-shows, record company etc. But I guess Dimash revitalised his lust for composing neoclassical again and working with such a great voice. I beleive Igor was greatly affected by the death of Dmitry Hvorostovsky who passed from cancer in nov 2017.

Thank you for showing Dimash to your friend! Great reaction! Appropriately surprised first reactions are just the best. ❤
He practices for hours every day and has been for most of his life. And the 23 seconds of riffs and runs at the end - all on one breath - are the result. 😊
He still almost ran out of breath at I think. He pants a little at the end of the clip. And in other performances he sings a few additional notes. Love those tiny hints that he might be human after all. ❤ But that theory is still not undoubtedly proven. 😉
I‘m always baffled, when singers don’t know him. I would suspect any singer would make their friends and colleagues listen to him, as soon as they discover him. 😂
Please bring your friend back on. And feel free to show Dimash to other people as well. ❤

Dimash has studied music for 25 years, since he was 5 yrs old. He has 2 Degrees in music & a doctorate too. He has studied Opera & was offereda place in Astana Opera House, but he wanted to go his way in music by blending opera with all kinds of genres & has been doing that so successfully, despite being told early on that his using his full range in performances was too much & he should stop doing that! Thank goodness he did not take that advice. We would be missing his wonderful blends. Dimash is also a multi- instrumentalist & composer. He performs all genres of music & truly is a phenomenal artist.

@@christinabrain1426 I too read that he _completed_ his _doctoral studies_ (in 2023) but that doesn't mean he has his doctorate. To get to that stage he has to "defend" his doctoral "thesis". cf the comment attributed to Dimash: "This year I plan to defend my doctoral dissertation".
A defense means doing a presentation and question/answer session with a "thesis defense committee" (typically the one who taught the student plus one other professor) followed by the committee deciding whether the defense succeeds. (Which it normally does.) A PhD defense typically takes a couple of hours.

📌 Part 1: Welcome! Who is Dimash Qudaibergen? (pronounced: Dee-mahsh Koo-deye-bear-ghen)
Dimash Qudaibergen (Dinmukhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen) was born on May 24, 1994 in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He is 1.91 m (6.3 ft) tall.
Dimash is a singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, actor, video director, screenwriter and entrepreneur who has received the title of Honored Artist of Kazakhstan (2019), People's Artist of Kazakhstan (2023) and many other significant awards around the world.
Dimash Qudaibergen was very fortunate to be born into musical 'royalty'. Grandfather was a professional dombra player, grandmother was a teacher and sang. His mother Svetlana Aitbayeva has a classical education (not opera singer). His father, Kanat Aitbayev, is also a singer, songwriter and producer. His parents are known throughout the country and are “Honored Music Artists of Kazakhstan”. Both have been seen on the big stages and on television in Kazakhstan for many years.
    * Listen: th-cam.com/video/p71ot1uRZLQ/w-d-xo.html
According to Kazakh tradition, Dimash grew up with his grandparents. He calls them mom and dad and for a long time thought his parents were brother and sister-in-law. They all live together in one house.
Dimash said: "Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life."
Dimash wasn't a child prodigy, but he always wanted to be a musician and grew up surrounded by music. As a young boy (2 years old) he would often sit in the audience at his parents' performances and run onto the stage when they bowed at the end, and he did the same. While other children drew cars or princesses, Dimash drew a music studio and the instruments.
    * Interview with Dimash Kid for local studio 2006 - th-cam.com/video/lTjHW_IHTSM/w-d-xo.html
In his childhood, Dimash trained in taekwondo. He achieves his enormous lung capacity through targeted swimming and diving training, he dribbles very well with a football - th-cam.com/video/kt_lokOZLWw/w-d-xo.html and because his dears are important to him, he even takes additional dance lessons. Dimash's role models include Lara Fabian, Pavarotti, Igor Krutoy, Andrea Bocelli, Celin Dion, Queen and most importantly Michael Jackson.
He has been making music since he was 5 years old and has a perfect pitch. He has university degrees in piano, classical/opera, contemporary music and jazz with a major in singing. Dimash also completed a musical master class on Broadway and has a master's degree with a concentration in composition. He completed his studies with honors. He has composed 17 of his own songs so far.
In 2024 he will defend his dissertation. So we will soon call him Dr. Phil Dimash Qudaibergen. 😃
    * Dimash interview at the New Vision 2024 forum, Almaty - th-cam.com/video/8OykJQ_mOBI/w-d-xo.html
With his 'soprano voice', Dimash did not fit into the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was heavily criticized in his youth. Even his singing teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto (interview with his first singing teacher - th-cam.com/video/V7hkcKYAnhg/w-d-xo.html ... but Dimash was undeterred.
As a child he performed at concerts and took part in various competitions. In 2012, Dimasch won the Grand Prix of Kazakh young singers “Schas Kanat” (“Young Wings”). In the same year he received first prize in the Ukrainian TV competition “Vostochnyi Bazaar” (Oriental Market), and a year later he won first place in the Kyrgyz international festival “Making Asia”. In 2015, Dimasch won the Grand Prize of the Belarusian music festival “Slavyansky Bazaar” (Slavic Market) - a milestone in the young singer's career.
The career jump to global megastar came in January 2017 after his participation in the Chinese singing competition with well-known professional singers “The Singer 2017”.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of an engagement at the National Opera in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) because he wanted to go his own way. He created his own genre: neo-classical combined with classical, folklore and other styles like pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We lay people say “Popera”. Dimash not only sings in all genres, in some of his own compositions he brilliantly combines a wide variety of genres and styles and never ceases to amaze us dears. Dimash cannot be pigeonholed. 😃
Every song that Dimash sings is rearranged by himself and adapted to the respective performance. This means there are often several versions. His best friend Yerlan Bekchurin as a soundmanager and soundproducer implements Dimash’s creative ideas.
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. His father founded the company "DimashAli" with a friend (his son's name is Ali).

He's been under professional training since 5. No breaks during adolescence, so he held on to his upper range. Thousands of hours of work.
Still training. He's got a few music degrees and plays a few stringed instruments and piano. He trains so hard on the singing that he is free to focus mostly on the presentation. He also is quite good at maintaining his body core position and support while moving around during a song.
Dimash went pro in 2017. It was basically the most over prepared debut I've ever seen. It was on the biggest Chinese pro singing competition. He was really taking a huge risk because he barely knew enough Chinese to travel there and had to win over a Chinese audience to even last one round. So he opened with a French song. Then later on in the competition, he learned a Chinese song phonetically. Mandarin is tonal. In a week. While traveling. And made the audience cry. So he's also a very quick study. It seems he felt a need to give them a song in Mandarin because they had done him such a big favor by bringing him in on a wild card entry to the show (as an amateur!), which did massively jump start his career. So he is also polite and respectful. No bad boy music star. But he does play a great bad boy in Be With Me.
P.S. Yes, please bring Yaya on again. Maybe Stranger, SOS, Love Is Like A Dream or Diva Dance (2017 Bastau).

Hello! We really are looking at a complete and wonderful artist. Dimash not only sings but is a multi-instrumentalist who acts, narrates, has a prodigious vocal range, is a producer, model, a pacifist who approaches different cultures and exalts respect for political and religious diversity.
He is not well known in the "west" because there is little commercial style music he makes and not everyone is prepared to enjoy something more subtle and profound like what he usually does. Entering his world is a whirlwind of surprises and emotions. The songs he sang in "Singer" 2024 alone or in duets and trios are truly wonderful. Of the Kazakh folk songs I highlight "Samaltau" (at the Tokyo Jazz Festival) and "Elim Menin".
In addition to the wonderful "Omir" that he recorded with his younger brother on guitar. It is impossible to name all the songs that we have enjoyed in his voice!! It's also a really great short film maker! I send you both cordial greetings from Buenos Aires.

I am aware that most reactors don't use the cc for subtitles because they do not want to be distracted from the performance, if you knew the words that he was singing, it would allow you to appreciate all the more of the emotions he puts into a song. It is such a beautiful song. You really can feel the passion he emotes in whatever he sings. Some examples are, Ikanaide, Love Is Like A Dream, Your Love, and from "Singer 2017, Adagio, All By Myself, and Unforgettable Day. I just happened upon your channel, so I do not know if you have reacted to any of these songs. I am going to your home page to see, and if not, I really hope you do so very soon. I love watching reaction videos to see the transformation of their faces in amazement and wonder when hearing Dimash. 👉Dimash's deep and gentle voice... I melt away. What a wonderful song, wonderfully sung by Dimash (Russian language). Did you hold your breath? 🤣 The final run was 23 seconds with one breath. 👏👏👏
Dimash sings here as a guest on the New Wave 2018 (international competition). Igor Krutoy, the man in the white shirt at the end, a famous Russian composer, music titan and initiator of the New Wave had invited him. Now, both are a "Dreamteam" and work together from time to time. They are friends, have a father-son-relationship.
... and of course Dimash donates the many flowers to hospitals and retirement homes.
The band that Dimash accompanies at this performance called A’Studio, who composed and performed “Sinful Passion” in 1998. The band is also from Kazakhstan (Dimash's homeland) and this Dimash performance has revived the song.
    *Original: A'STUDIO - Грешная страсть/ SInful Passion (pronounced: Greshnaya Strust) - th-cam.com/video/CN9fHwhna_M/w-d-xo.html
The glottal - stops is a throat singing technique called "bleating", “goat's trill” or „Trillo caprino/ little goat“ used by the indigenous peoples of the Far East. In Iran called this technique „tahrir“
In 17th-century Italy, 'trillo' referred to the so-called 'Monteverdi trill' or bleat, a tremolo-like repetition of a single pitch. Singing these trills was frowned upon.
    - At the end of the video, Dimash explains his breathing technique: th-cam.com/video/STqrz1E2WV8/w-d-xo.html

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than twelve(12) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Thank you for your reactions. In the folkloric segment, Dimash gives us a stellar example of the 17th-century Italian "trillo," which denotes the "Monteverdi trill," also known as the "goat's trill." It is similar to yodelling. At 5:10 in your video, there is a man in a white shirt standing and applauding. He is Ukrainian-born Russian composer and impresario Igor Krutoy, who came out of semi-retirement after this performance to work with Dimash and write for his unique vocal range. At the première of these custom pieces, Igor can be seen as the pianist accompanying Dimash.

Although he is only 30, he has 25 years of training and experience. If you watch at about the 2:34 mark of this video, you can see his tongue moving a little bit, showing how relaxed his mouth and throat are. He has incredible control. At about the 3:59 mark, he adds the Monteverdi trill (or caprino). That's an homage to the previous lead singer, who had passed away, of A'Studio (the band backing him). At about the 4:24 mark, he starts that run that's about 23-24 seconds long, all on one breath. His range is pretty much the entire piano and beyond.

He actually came into the notice of the world in Singer China 2017 competition, which would be great for your own personal awareness when he was about 22, I think , he has been professionally singing from I think about 10 or so, but his mother and grandmother both sang opera as he himself can also. I have seen him sing for about 7 years now and have NEVER heard him let out even 1 slight mishaps, but I am only a prisoner singer, always behind two bars and can't find the right keys. He has sung in more that 12 or so languages. He has many videos on youtube, even 1 with a little rapping. You mention how much training he would have had to have for his control, one teacher and coach one time about 5 years ago said he felt it would take at least 5 or years to get to the level he was at then, but as I mentioned, he has had professional teaching since his early years, one time he said as he was being born he was singing. I have seen videos when he was early teenager and he was good then, and have seen him still working on his breathe control, that one part in the song you listened to some have mention in that part he did not take a new breathe for 35 seconds.
