What a regrettable comment. Even if this man can't trace his lineage to Kumawu royalty, he can be accepted as Asante through and through. He speaks the language well, he understands and respect the culture and he knows the history. There are many people of Ghanaian ancestry who now claim to be Europeans or Americans (and rightly so) because of how long they have lived there for. Mr Acheampong is no different.
