I find her so compelling when she speaks - she's so animated and engaging! And I'm halfway through a season 4 binge - my god, this woman can act - what a talent!
She was the best actor on that series. Her voice control is amazing. Her final line in the series was hilarious. I hope to see more of this talented lady.
She's homely in the show, because that's her true face without cake layer make up. Most of the girls you call beautiful out on the street or IG look like that underneath all that war paint and the filters.

I’ve just binged watched all the episodes on Netflix and really enjoyed them all. Plus I think the music added to the thrill of parts of the scenes. And I learned a lot of history about England that I totally forgot about ,as it made me go on line and read over our history again.
First 3 (maybe 4) seasons of Vikings were pretty good too.. but with season 5 of Vikings I changed my favorite to TLK. But lets see how good TLK still is on their future 6th season. (cuz with 3 seasons.. both are pretty good)
I love this show and now know what a fabulous actress this little gal is. That someone so beautiful and full of spunk and life can portray a woman I sincerely dislike tells me she's the real deal. Bravo!
This is the only program I actually watching the behind the scenes for. The actors are relatable and seem like actual down to earth humans. So much better than the arrogance of Hollywood etc.
Absolutely killing it in her role. A fierce yet tender mother and wife, a brilliant Lady of Wessex and she's not only humanized her piety -she's made the character both accessable and relatable!! I have to say, from the books I really hated Ælswith, I felt she was somewhat flat (sorry, Bernard) -but she's so much more on screen. I get it. I understand her motivations better now than ever -thanks to Eliza Butterworth's immense talent. It really is a pleasure to be constantly amazed by the acting from the cast of The Last Kingdom. Thank you, Eliza.

I'm Hungarian and I was so happy to find out that they filmed the series in Hungary. I'm so proud! (though I'm quite sad that I wasn't in Hungary when they were filming) But absolutely love the show and can't wait for season 5!!! Lots of love from Hungary!
