It's worse than you think! I know a bloke from the UK who moved out here to the Great Southern Land, got a really good paying job, saved his money and started a very successful business. So successful that after a while he began to worry about what he would do if the business began to fail!
Yet, year in and year out, the business just kept getting stronger and more lucrative. This just made him worry even more. So much so that soon he didn't have the time to worry AND to make millions of dollars each year! Luckily, some one gave him the drum about a business consultancy firm that solved problems like that. And they did! In no time flat, they recruited a bloke who did all of the worrying for him! Now he spend every Wednesday playing golf with all of the doctors in town. Happy days!

To be honest Australia is still an empty land considering. But do you think making each big cities says no to new people and has their own population quota every year will help new immigrants to move to empty areas, develop them into wonderful town and sustain them? I think that will work.
Edit: i was reading about solarpunk cities recently and thought Australia bush could be a good place to implement this.

In Australia, life is full of taxes, bills, fines and penalties. The government ,council, police, lack empathy , and compassion . Australia is no longer the lucky country. The life style is boring. Pay your taxes and everything will be fine. On top of that , do as your told or else they will take you to court to pay a hefty fine.

Yeah Australian coffee fan here. I live in a large city in Germany and the first thing I did on moving here was try to find good coffee. The situation has improved over the 6 years I have been here but you still have to really search to find coffee of the standard you would get in just about any coffee shop in Australia. France, Austria and Switzerland are similar. I travelled through Italy for 6 weeks and I would say Australian coffee is actually close.

A free holiday provide a courtesy of British government, free board, free food, the whole country to themselves, no pollution, an adventure Holiday in a foreign land... you get to experience what it was like being a convict in Australia... as much work as you can handle... And the opportunity to stakeout your own block of land! Bummer! No wonder they regret coming now!

While I have no intentions to ever leave my country of birth, this is best ad I have ever seen for moving to Aus. Forced vaccinations are the reason that my millions are staying away from that beautiful isle.

    • @zoeolsson5683

      Thank you for staying away.
Sorry no shrift given for antivax stance. It's not responsible. We have good health here because of public health initiatives. Vaccinations are medical responsibility. People Vax to protect others and themselves
Vaccinations are not required by people who are medically not able to have them. Like my son was while he was receiving chemo.
But you bet we caught him when we could. . All my kids are fully vaccinated. As am I. Vaccination is a powerful technology that has saved thousands of lives.

An excellent tongue in cheek video, I bet those outside of OZ will somehow take it the wrong way, who cares, it might stop half the world turning up this year, the east coast of OZ is full, lets get them to head to WA if they want to move here, they need more people over there, about twenty turned up last week, in a boat, very strange, must have been a shortage of airline tickets available.

I was born here, and I thought I loved this country, but your presentation made so much sense. It really hit home to me how much I actually hate this place. Well, that's it for me, bye everyone, I'm off to go hitchhiking overseas. I don't know where I'll end up - but it'll definitely be better than this dump.
