It is not effective compared to others, which makes you happier when you beat a boss with it equipped because you we handicapping yourself. I beat pantheon 4 with the little guy and it was very satisfying. 2. They are very cute and nice and cuddly and friendly and squishy and wholesome and hopeful and kind and happy and 3. The alternative, while better in some people’s eyes, is still not the best charm, doesn’t give you a cute sidekick, and means you miss out of Nightmar King Grimm!

Sisters of Battle was one of my favorite fights in hollow knight. Absolute Radiance/The Radiance feel a bit drawn out, but give you a great sense of accomplishment. Sisters of Battle looks unbeatable at first, with so much chaos appearing throughout the fight, but after a while, you can predict the patterns, and the fight’s a lot of fun. One of my favorite radiant bosses

From there, dodging the discs is easy and you can just shade dash through his wind slashes That's all
Not all the bug’s limb’s are void it’s just the way they draw the bug’s which make’s you think it’s void, also the black on the vessel’s isn’t void, that black is just a part of their “outer shell” their “inner shade” is the void bit of them.
so many people out here really trying to say grimmchild is actually good, i'ma prove that wrong grimmchild sucks for when you get it. you have to beat NKG for it (aka one of the hardest bosses in the game) and it only does 11 damage when maxed out. that's 4 less than a vengeful spirit with no upgrades. grimmchild isn't even guaranteed to hit due to it's garbage projectile speed. you're probably going to have shade soul by the time you get to fighting NKG which does close to 3x the amount of damage of grimmchild, add on shaman's and that's almost 4x in a single cast, not including double hits. that's not even counting abyss shriek and descending dark which do ludicrous amounts more than grimmchild. and you only need ot hit something 3 times with the nail to cast one of those powerful spells. you're probably going to have a channeled or coiled nail, which does 2-6 more damage. throw strength on there and you've got yourself a weapon which does twice the amount of damage grimmchild does per hit, more reliably, and faster. so if you hit something with a coiled nail 3 times, then cast a shade soul, you're dealing a solid 81 damage which is 8x more than grimmchild. and that's with no charms and only the gear you should be having by then. add on strength and shaman's and you got 118. i know you're going to already be doing this with grimmchild on, but my point here is that an extra 11 damage every now and then is not going to make a difference, especially with it's asking price of 2 charm notches. shaman stone, strength, quick slash, steady body and dream wielder is pretty much the perfect damage build imo, and you can get all of those things at the time you get grimmchild with no issue. if you want a build based purely on the nail then replace shaman stone and dream wielder with nailmaster's glory and mark of pride. if you want a spell build i suggest steady body/dream wielder, shaman stone, soul eater, and mark of pride. and before anyone responds to this with "i don't care, it's cute" that's a fair statement, but grimmchild isn't good. i'm not saying grimmchild is worse than carefree melody, i'm saying it's just garbage in general and if you legitimately think it's good then i seriously don't know what to tell you
