The Big 3 are masterclasses in manga writing and storytelling and I'm glad to see how many new mangaka actually credit these series as inspiration. If only the people who started watching anime during the pandemic would stop trying to rewrite history and change what the Big 3 is.
Strawberry! I was in my early 20's when I first found out about Bleach. Got my daughter hooked. She's 20 now. She even did her advanced art class report on Kubo when she was in high school. Also got my Nephews hook. They're 11 and 9. I go back to feeling like I'm 21 years old again still in the United States Marine Corps laying on the sofa watching Bleach with my then 1 year old daughter. Time flies. I'm glad he didn't quit. Some of my best father, daughter times has been watching with my daughter. She cried last year when the head captain died. She said, "he's been part of our lives for so long dad". But we're loving the TYBW!

strawberry! i love how Kubo life history is similar to mine in many ways.. like i relate to the dude for having a rlly exigent family, cant bow to authorities and revolts against them, cant work on teams.. but despite this has a hidden skill. i know i didnt just reached high levels of skill already and i treat myself like Kubo directors pushing myself to do better, i been remaking the same game over and over and over again to try to reach a level of perfection. i dont want pretty graphics, i dont want stabilished writing stuff, i dont want what most want, i want to do what i like and think is the right to do. and i know people love originality because this is what art is, you put out something personal. though my art arent really a representation of myself, it is a representation of the world around me. and i also created a world in my mind that feels so alive that i must show it. i am soon achieving the perfection i was seeking for one of my games and will focus first on this franchise, i will release 3 games then do other franchise at the same time i am making the 4th, the 4th isnt supposed to be lore-heavy or anything.. it is supposed to be the biggest horror i can create, i never felt fear again since more than a year ago no matter how horrible and disturbing what i see is.. so i want to create something that could traumatize even me. i want the 4th game the concept of horror, no need of instinctive stuff like blood, claws, teeth and stuff.. i want to break the sense of reality of the player and make them deeply uncomfortable, i want to make every single thing around them feel wrong and off.. and i just hope i can cause myself the same effect and be used to it, so i can create more horrifying experiences in the future. and i will just release this game once i achieve this. but im also a fps, rpg and scifi fan so i have other works that are all connected that arent horror.
Tite Kubo really has the best style for me. I love the setting in the beginning of Bleach, the night-time hollow fight scenes in the city was what got me hooked on the show. I'm really glad he strawberry didn't give up on Bleach. I have great hopes for cour 3 of TYBW!

Strawberry. I'm in my mid 30's Bleach was one of the first anime that hooked me, besides Wolf's Rain, Dragon Ball, Full Metal Alchemist. I'm so happy to see the recognition Kubo deserves for everything he has made. This series is a part of me as a person. And I could never thank the man enough for it.

Wow Im glad he didnt give up. His style is very unqiue in design and poetry. But the fact that he had so many hardships and to this day people continue to disregard BLEACH when it rightfully earned it spot as the Big 3. His effort fortunately didn't go unnoticed, his assitance and opportunities offered to him really solidified his BLEACH manga.
It’s great to see this series getting the respect it deserves. Bleach was my first anime I watched from start to finish and it’s still in my top 10 after watching anime for nearly 10 years I owe a lot to Bleach. Not only for getting me into anime/manga but for the beautiful work that it is and the lessons it has taught me. And each time I come back to it, whether it’s for a fight or a full run through, it just gets better.
I think one of the strengths of Kubo is that he's keenly aware that people will use their imagination to fill in the gaps, so he often goes light on the exposition; opting more for foreshadowing instead. For me personally I enjoy how much forshadowing he loaded into Kenpachi, because he did it early, and he kept doing it: The first was when Ichigo asked "Who, or WHAT" Yachiru was, immediately letting people know that she wasn't normal. Amusingly the Zanpaktuo arc while non-canon made a point of Kenpachi being one of the characters who's sword didn't rebel, further indicating that the character's history and future were already well in place. Then when Gremmy fights Kenpachi he accidentally defeats himself by imagining his full power, and that power tears his body apart; foreshadowing that Kenpachi himself also doesn't have a body that can withstand his own full power. It's just interesting how for a lot of characters after a reveal is given, people can go back and see the hints that can get overlooked in the past. :strawberry:
Kubo-sensei will always be my favorite mangaka. But I had *zero* idea he was Colonel Saunders'd as well. #respect to him for not staying down when he dropped low.

It wasn’t canceled it was stated by the voice actor of rukia that they didn’t want to catch up to the anime. So they put it on hold and when the manga finished in 2016 the anime was green lite in 2017 then it was announced to the public in 2020

I think that your description of bleach as a mix of slice of life drama and shonen perfect, and that is what I love about it, the discussion on what is life, death, fate, depression, trauma, (some speculate how Ichigo displayed sings of PTSD), despair and resolve is amazing. strawberry! I remember watching the soul society arc when I was just a little kid, now I'm using bleach as inspiration for my own comic stories. Kubo is a master and bleach holds a special place in my heart.
As if you had to ask me to say Strawberry, it's the only shounen of it's time that when it ended didn't left me empty, it left me bittersweet, because i wouldn't be able to read it anymore, but i loved the ending. I respect and love the work of Kubo, and seeing it recognize by so many modern mangaka, really makes me smile, because his hard work was pay-off, no matter what people say about him, he has already make his mark in history, whatever you like his work or not. He will always be respected, he will always be remembered, and that's enough for me, just like Togashi, just like Toriyama, to me that's enough.

Strawberry I started watching Bleach in 2017 on Netflix when it was still available on that platform bleach opened the world of anime for me and I always loved how relatable the characters were, I never read the manga but I do respect it when I hear people talk about it, the music and design in bleach is amazing from the different forms characters took during transformations to the normal clothes the characters wore around the world of the living and the opening songs and songs during emotional events in bleach. Bleach will always be my favorite anime and I respect Tite Kubo for creating a masterpiece even if the original anime adaptation didn't live up to his expectations now that he is working on the anime with the animators I know It will be what he wanted us to see.
Tite Kubo never said he was inspired off Berserk and Yu Yu hakusho but he did say he was inspired by Bastard!!Heavy metal, Dark fantasy for the Dark fantasy genre Not Berserk, cause Bastard!! Influenced his artstyle and it’s where he got the idea for thethe Sexy Heroines. Gamma Akutabi’s character design from Zombiepowder is even inspired off Dark Schneider’s and his character design inspired Ichigo’s and Grimmjow’s
In retrospect it's almost funny that Kubo worried Thousand Year Blood War would be too dark and have to many cuts if ever animated. These days he's completely flipped, saying that animating it has allowed him to expand on various stories (zero squad fight is GOAT) , also Strawberry.

Hands down one of my favorite animes of all time. I fell in love immediately with the art and stayed for the incredible story. The art is sick, the fashion, the lore, character development. It's all so fascinating. And Ichigo was my cartoon crush 😂 🍓 it warms my heart to see the outpouring of love for Bleach, I see so many ppl trash it online.
Strawberry 🍓. I've read and watched the Big 3 during their weekly release and am a fan of all 3. Bleach will forever be my favorite out of the 3, Tite Kubo's art style, his poems and character music theme at the end of every volume was unique to me. I related more to Ichigo than Luffy and Naruto, having no dream of my own but have a goal to protect or take care of the people closest to me.
Great video. I can see where the idea of Bleach's themes came from. By looking at his life. Even tho it is not perfect. Just like Naruto, it has its ups and downs, I will never not love Bleach. It has impacted me on deeper level somehow than almost any other series. And the character designs, color spreads and title drops are some of the most amazing things I have seen ever.

It's actually crazy to me how many people don't know how well done Bleach really is, Kubo and Oda are just top tier when it comes to foreshadowing. The fashion in Bleach doesn't have any reason to go has hard as it does but it's just really crazy how it really made a huge impact on the future of anime. Kubo is nuts. Keep pushing dark tone despite that's not what SJ want to push at that time, designing first before giving them personality, audacity to rebel and said whatever he feels. Strawberry my nigga 🍓!! Even tho the last arc of bleach wasn’t that great, I have to admit that bleach was really on top in the mid 2000s. The anime was really above the rest. And if you were a fan back then you would know that from the big 3 bleach and naruto were always head to head for 1st place. One piece is my fav series of all time but in that era it was falling behind the other two and theres no denying that. Bleach holds a special place in my heart and the anime had alot to do with that. Im hoping they can fix the wrongs of the manga with this new adaptation.
I remember there was a rumor at the time, that Bleach was supposed to end after they defeated Aizen and ichigo lost his powers. (Which to me is the perfect ending) But the producers demanded a continuation, so he wrote the fullbring arc and then they cancelled him halfway through the 1000 year blood war arc so he had to finish it up quickly
I started bleach in 2014 I finished the original 366 episodes almost immediately then I got into the manga and now the anime is back I have lived bleach since about episode 40
🍓 Yup, i proudly to say that i have collected a few bunch of bleach manga in my disposal during my childhood. At that time , even though naruto and one piece were much popular , but i still like to read bleach more than those both. Cause you can feel the maturity of the main characters along the story and revolve a lot more interesting characters either allies or villains. Also even though many people criticised on kubo's lack of background, but i actually quite adore that way . The characters design are rememberable, neat, clean and fighting scene are easy to follow. Especially with bubbles of dialogue in manga panel which are not too convoluted and lot of tiny details like one piece manga. There are not many manga which focused on character and a few dialogues like bleach , maybe i can name a few i like such as devilman and gantz.
Kubo made the best characters in any just one anime ever. If he chose the fashion industry as his focus, we would've wear completely different wardrobe today.😏

I’ve read all the manga, the novels, seen all the movies and every episode until now even the TYBW that’s currently running. Thank you for putting this video together because Tite Kubo deserves so much respect for what he’s created.

It wasn’t canceled it was stated by the voice actor of rukia that they didn’t want to catch up to the anime. So they put it on hold and when the manga finished in 2016 the anime was green lite in 2017 then it was announced to the public in 2020

I think that your description of bleach as a mix of slice of life drama and shonen perfect, and that is what I love about it, the discussion on what is life, death, fate, depression, trauma, (some speculate how Ichigo displayed sings of PTSD), despair and resolve is amazing. strawberry! I remember watching the soul society arc when I was just a little kid, now I'm using bleach as inspiration for my own comic stories. Kubo is a master and bleach holds a special place in my heart.
As if you had to ask me to say Strawberry, it's the only shounen of it's time that when it ended didn't left me empty, it left me bittersweet, because i wouldn't be able to read it anymore, but i loved the ending.
I respect and love the work of Kubo, and seeing it recognize by so many modern mangaka, really makes me smile, because his hard work was pay-off, no matter what people say about him, he has already make his mark in history, whatever you like his work or not. He will always be respected, he will always be remembered, and that's enough for me, just like Togashi, just like Toriyama, to me that's enough.
Definitely the coolest of the big three.

Strawberries🍓🍓🍓.Anyway what I love about Kubp is his attitude to never give up and if anything Bleach definitely encapsulates Kubos sense of not only fashion but also themes that he adds in his story about life and death itself.Which shows that Kubo is one of the most based and interesting mangakas among shonen creators.If anything I think Bleach is not the black sheep of the big three but in fact the odd one out among them.Since his series does not have a grandios story of a boy who wants to be the Ninja king or Pirate king or basically any king of the show.But instead focuses on a boy who just wants to live his life as a hero and protects those closest to him.Which I would say is one of the most humbliest things you would never find in a shonen character.Unlike a specif someone who just wants to fight for fun and that's it.*cough* *cough* Goku😮👻👻👻
Tite kubo has good intentions, hes a person who also loves and cares about his mangas and his fans, truth is ichigo is despite it a person who cares about life and lives, bleach is emotional and funny and heroic and its really about feelings and saving who you care about, tite kubo is an amazingly nice person because when you really think about it, there is deep caring about life in bleach and zombie powder, he lived most of his early life without a lover then he wrote poetry, theres a adult version nelieil poet quote that was so refined and emotional its clear, he is a amazing person and just as much an amazing writer, there is so many good things i could tell you about bleach, but i want you to binge it, 5 eps, i can talk about it all day but ill tell you one thing the man has a heart, it was my first manga and even though its characters where meant to originally be adults, the soul and overall heart of bleach remanded with me, i grew up with the characters and everything for me was right, i want you to understand that tite kubos problems made him a better person and artist, he was lonely, hes a poet, and the fact is, i went broke buying but it was one of the best things i ever did with my life, i dont choose favorites with the big 6 SHH Naruto, bleach, one piece, zatch bell, full metal alchemist and d.gray man, but i know one thing about bleach, if you watch it binge it, its a journey but youll love, it first mexican and black protagonists too gotta love manga , ill say more tommorow trust me imma cry if i dont come back tommorow. imma come back. but im telling life with japans artist etc has been the best times of my life. if one of you is a good writer then find yourself in it, be kind to you treat women peoplkeand people well😂. and whatever you all do write as yourself but give it depth and you shall soar. write well. I started watching Bleach in 2017 on Netflix when it was still available on that platform bleach opened the world of anime for me and I always loved how relatable the characters were, I never read the manga but I do respect it when I hear people talk about it, the music and design in bleach is amazing from the different forms characters took during transformations to the normal clothes the characters wore around the world of the living and the opening songs and songs during emotional events in bleach. Bleach will always be my favorite anime and I respect Tite Kubo for creating a masterpiece even if the original anime adaptation didn't live up to his expectations now that he is working on the anime with the animators I know It will be what he wanted us to see.
Tite Kubo never said he was inspired off Berserk and Yu Yu hakusho but he did say he was inspired by Bastard!!Heavy metal, Dark fantasy for the Dark fantasy genre Not Berserk, cause Bastard!! Influenced his artstyle and it’s where he got the idea for thethe Sexy Heroines. Gamma Akutabi’s character design from Zombiepowder is even inspired off Dark Schneider’s and his character design inspired Ichigo’s and Grimmjow’s

I didn't enjoy Bleach that much, but I've got to admit... These characters do have some DRIP!!!
In retrospect it's almost funny that Kubo worried Thousand Year Blood War would be too dark and have to many cuts if ever animated. These days he's completely flipped, saying that animating it has allowed him to expand on various stories (zero squad fight is GOAT) , also Strawberry.
Bleach is one of the few series that actually impacted me in terms of philosophy and style.

Hands down one of my favorite animes of all time. I fell in love immediately with the art and stayed for the incredible story. The art is sick, the fashion, the lore, character development. It's all so fascinating. And Ichigo was my cartoon crush 😂 🍓 it warms my heart to see the outpouring of love for Bleach, I see so many ppl trash it online.

Strawberry 🍓. I've read and watched the Big 3 during their weekly release and am a fan of all 3. Bleach will forever be my favorite out of the 3, Tite Kubo's art style, his poems and character music theme at the end of every volume was unique to me. I related more to Ichigo than Luffy and Naruto, having no dream of my own but have a goal to protect or take care of the people closest to me.

Great video. I can see where the idea of Bleach's themes came from. By looking at his life. Even tho it is not perfect. Just like Naruto, it has its ups and downs, I will never not love Bleach. It has impacted me on deeper level somehow than almost any other series. And the character designs, color spreads and title drops are some of the most amazing things I have seen ever.

I've often wondered how much genius has been crushed vs how much has been brought out by the borderline evil conditions in the manga world.
It's actually crazy to me how many people don't know how well done Bleach really is, Kubo and Oda are just top tier when it comes to foreshadowing. The fashion in Bleach doesn't have any reason to go has hard as it does but it's just really crazy how it really made a huge impact on the future of anime. Also, Kubos different take on making Shonen really influenced a lot of future mangaka and I think it's just really cool to see, I can't imagine how awesome it must feel to be Kubo reflecting on it. Can I just say I love how much Bleach actually inspired me to draw (as far as I can remember), like oh my god, my very first doodle was a female version of Ichigo complete with bankai and hollowfications and such and, oh my God. Hope for the best for one of my heroes!

Kubo is nuts. Keep pushing dark tone despite that's not what SJ want to push at that time, designing first before giving them personality, audacity to rebel and said whatever he feels.

Strawberry my nigga 🍓!! Even tho the last arc of bleach wasn’t that great, I have to admit that bleach was really on top in the mid 2000s. The anime was really above the rest. And if you were a fan back then you would know that from the big 3 bleach and naruto were always head to head for 1st place. One piece is my fav series of all time but in that era it was falling behind the other two and theres no denying that. Bleach holds a special place in my heart and the anime had alot to do with that. Im hoping they can fix the wrongs of the manga with this new adaptation.
I remember there was a rumor at the time, that Bleach was supposed to end after they defeated Aizen and ichigo lost his powers. (Which to me is the perfect ending)
But the producers demanded a continuation, so he wrote the fullbring arc and then they cancelled him halfway through the 1000 year blood war arc so he had to finish it up quickly
I started bleach in 2014 I finished the original 366 episodes almost immediately then I got into the manga and now the anime is back I have lived bleach since about episode 40

🍓 Yup, i proudly to say that i have collected a few bunch of bleach manga in my disposal during my childhood. At that time , even though naruto and one piece were much popular , but i still like to read bleach more than those both. Cause you can feel the maturity of the main characters along the story and revolve a lot more interesting characters either allies or villains. Also even though many people criticised on kubo's lack of background, but i actually quite adore that way . The characters design are rememberable, neat, clean and fighting scene are easy to follow. Especially with bubbles of dialogue in manga panel which are not too convoluted and lot of tiny details like one piece manga. There are not many manga which focused on character and a few dialogues like bleach , maybe i can name a few i like such as devilman and gantz.
