    As a beginner in tig welding, I enjoy the extensive comintary on what and why you are doing something. That and you meticulous attention to details in build.

      Thank you, I'm glad! Funny enough, I just ran across the instruction sheet for the kit and it said to drill 3/8" or larger holes for the rosette welds on the torsion bar (I somehow missed that) and I wanted to put it in the comments for anyone attempting to build this kit or anything similar. I'm glad I have been helpful, and I always try to leave no stone unturned when I build something; I like to reap the full potential of the materials and components that I use for a build. In the area of TIG welding, I am mostly self-taught aside from things I have learned from my brother who took a fabrication course and some great welders here on youtube. I wish you the best of luck for your TIG welding enterprises and thanks for watching!

    You are doing an awesome job on your build. Guys your age have no interest to build their chassis. Keep up the great work. I see another chassis shop in the making. Most chassis shops are shying away from full builds and buying cnc machines to make and sell parts instead. ( Tin Soldiers, CJRC for example) Tin Soldiers is now creating a list of shops for customers to get their parts installed. Put your name on the list. You are doing professional fabrication 👍🏻

      Thank you, being able to produce a product is a nice, somewhat stable way to sustain an income, but there certainly will always need to be installers. Those guys mentioned something about sending me work, I might be into doing something like that in the future. Thanks and thanks for watching!

    Looks really good. Are you going to do the tin/carbon yourself also?

    • @keefershotrodshop
      @keefershotrodshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I am planning to do the tin, not sure if it's getting steel or aluminum yet (probably some of each). Carbon would be sweet, but I don't think this car will be getting any carbon panels, maybe some door bar tube scuff covers and other accessories. Thanks for watching!

    I’d be surprised a tack popped considering how careful you are. It was odd ..

      It's surprising how much things can move when you start putting heat into them. Thanks for noticing, I try to put a lot of thought and care into everything, but sometimes materials can surprise you. Thanks for watching!

    What's the drivetrain going to be. And any idea on when you be going down the track?

      The plan is gen. 3 small block (LS Next block) with twin turbos, glide, Gear Vendors, and a steel driveshaft. No ETA at this time, but hopefully in the next year or so.
