Finally another Infinity video! Keep them coming! I like the conflict coming from the Evolved Intelligence. The diversity of the Combined Army, the scheming Tohaa fighting for their very survival and ALEPH trying to form a united front against this rival AI.
Just as I was thinking about starting with Infinity you drop this great lore vid. Hope you do one for every faction cause I love your voice and narration.
That's interesting rarely do you see semi-benevolent AI in science fiction/fantasy, between the transcendent AI and ALEPH being relatively good vs the warmongering greedy evolved intelligence. Also, AI vs AI don't see that often either, at least on a macro scale.
Great video. Im a new Infinity player and so I am catching up on the background. I'm just now building an Onyx Contact Force. I love the idea of the shadowy Umbra and their teams doing reconnaissance by force and testing the defenses, also Nourkias is my favourite character!
Seeing you paint up your Haqq on your Livestream has made me restart my Shasvastii. In regards to an EI Human look at what the Combined Army did to Ko Dali, a former Yu Jing Opetative.
I find it very Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy with the Ur that ended up building Deep Thought, but were not happy with the ultimate answer to the question about the universe life and everything
I would like to know a ton more about the Morat lore. For me, I'm the opposite, as you said regarding liking stealth. I'm a new player to Infinity, and the lore and look of this game is fantastic. The Morats interest me for the brute force they have.
Now I watched this aß the second Video and it's so well made. You are helping me to have a dive into Infinity so much. I will spread your videos and with that Infinity, too, to some friends for sure. One question: is your lore content in seven videos? I don't want to overlook something
Morats, they do trench warfare really well, stubborn as ill get out with all the nesting rules that come with the key word Morat. The draw back in may mind with the Morats is they don't do camo. troops to the level of comparable Infinity armys and they don't have a doctor in addition to the "Generic Combined" doctor.
And another time i've become much more asured that WH40K lore is so primitive comparing to this. Really want that Infinity will continue develop their lore, which is so complex and interesting.Thanks.

If you have seen person of interest I recommend it. Starts of slow but my god, it gets so good come season 2

I bought the wildfire box set because of the O12 but the gromflomites/shasvastii are a really cool faction

Was most of this in the early books? I got in around N2 and haven't seen this deep of a background on the CA
I get a lot of info from the 2nd ed book. CB has their background kind of scattered around, making it a little messy to piece together

What is the power level of infinity the game? Can any faction destroy Stars?

I was a big fan of the Exrah when the game came out, but CB shifted away from them pretty quickly…

Its why i label them even more evil than Ariadna. Which is pretty horrible.
