You guys absolutely KILLED it on this cute little venue. Our wedding was such a special day and I love how our friends and family all jumped in to help make the dream happen. Thank you Tim and Matt for putting all of that time, effort and detail into this:)
Basically when you make your first cut on the Sawmil, you get a board that has bark on one side and grain on the other. Those we ended up using for our smokehouse walls. The second cut we do is about an inch thick, and it has live edge on both sides of the board. We usually snap a line down the centerline of that first cut. The first cut is typically around 8 inches wide. That way we get a piece of base that is, 4 inches inches wide on average.
Amazing craftsmanship, Guys!
Thanks Neil! Can’t wait to make that high school reunion happen!

Indeed very thankful for all the help!
How awesome!
It was a whirlwind of activity! So many helping hands and so many hours went in to pulling it off. We were all running low on sleep for sure.
Looking great! Going to be an amazing wedding!
We can’t wait. Matt and Heather have been hoping and praying to find their soulmate. They found it in each other. 🙌🏻
All that wood makes it so Alaskan!
Rustic and harvested right from the property!
That was such a blast!
😍
We think so too!
Hey slow down on you pans! It took my brain a minute to process so that I could see the live edge base boards. Lol
Oh man I sometime forget there are wood lovers watching! Ok I will showcase the wood a bit better in the next ones! 🙏

I’m sorry we usually snap a line down. The centerline of the second cut is what I meant to say.
