- This wasn't one of Paul's favorite derbies due to the fact that one of his buddies got hurt. Matt turned out to be fine, but it kinda takes the fun out of it when someone gets hurt. I guess things like this occasionally happen in this sport seeing how people crash into each other and all, but it's still not cool when it does. Glad you're OK, Matt! See you in Orderville. ;)

We didn't even want to post it because of how bad it scared the crap out of us! If we happen to have some downtime at the derby in Orderville (fat chance) you should come over and watch the "extended" version.lol Maybe it will spark some memories?! :)

Happy to finally seeing these. Heard Matt and Paul talking about this but never actually seen the footage. Great sportsmanship and caring for you fellow man. Thank god Matt was ok and for the great footage you both provided us with today.

I TKO'D a guy hard. When I was in the delamanation derby years ago. I nailed him so hard. I didn't know I hit him hard. The arena we was at the track we used was concrete. And they did a poor job with the dirt. Plus flaggers didn't do a very good job. Plus the announcer waa supposed to yell stop never did. I didn't know i knocked him out until i was waved down by family and friends. I was like dammit got out and he was so out of it. Thought he was somewhere else. He's ok was released the next day no brain injurys. They did a ct scan and it showed no damage. He stated he see me come at full speed. I said I was looking at the right watching for (name) and bam i was like who the hell did I hit.
It’s definitely scary! No one ever wants to purposefully hurt someone else. Especially when that someone happens to be one of your best friends.......like in this vid.
@@EZDUZITRacing when he seen me coming at full speed. Cause I use racing engines. And he knew I didn't see him cause of a part of the front of the car. If I looked straight couldn't see him. He tried to move to late. I spun his car around good. He was in a ford probe. I was in a old Chevy Caprice. His wife knew he would get hurt cause I had to be doing like 50+ miles an hour. After that we never went back to that track. Poor lighting concrete no dirt. Since I won i handed his wife the money. She was like no no he has Medicaid and Medicare. We was like ok I'll pay for dinner they agreed. Be safe out there and no offense say a prayer before u hit that ignition switch. I pray with my wife and kids.

yea your not suppose to hit drivers in the driver side doors to prevent injury...but he couldn't see from the smoke so im pretty sure thats why he jumped out so quick. he didnt realize until they had stopped that he hit him there
Never touched his driver door watch it again in slow motion. He hit right behind the cab
What great sportsmanship! Paul you have always seemed to be a great sportsman and no one wants to hurt another driver and for you to stop and to climb into Matt's truck to make sure he was OK says ALOT about you! PS when is EZ duzit going to rip again?

Interlink Plus I'd say he was goin for the back. he didn't hit right on the door most impacted was on front of box when you slow down and watch. but ya...never good to hit on the door
OK...and maybe the steam played a partial role.
Its the point of the whole thing maybe why.
