We had our own injuries during that game.
We had a one-legged Champ, lost Von, Clady, Chris Harris Jr, and Derek Wolfe (All Pro-bowl level players).
In spite of all that, Brady managed all of 3 points against a weak defense in 45 minutes and then scored a couple of garbage time TD's in the final minutes of the 4Q.
It has nothing to do with injuries. He just struggles in Mile High, nothing to be ashamed at.

My BFF and I watched this game together - she was a massive Broncos fan. She came over to my house, she had wine, I had beer and it was a great time together. She passed unexpectedly on Nov 13 2019 so watching this for the first time since we initially watched it brings back massive memories. RIP Bobette..., I will see you again. 🧡

You gotta give Brady credit for sticking in their till the end, it felt like a chair could have blocked Von Miller than marcus cannon could
shawn hickey his defense kept him in the game. He finally had pressure on him when he normally has 5 minutes to throw to wide open receivers and we saw how average he looked. Hell he dug the hole himself with those 2 ints and was handed 6 on a backward pass

Akira 1 Brady even admitted this was the game that punished him the most in his career. He got sacked a bunch of times hit a bunch more and threw two picks.
It’s because the offense was struggling as well, Bill always brings his A game to Peyton and Peyton didn’t have the best offense this year either. Probably one of the worse offenses Peyton had in his career. The broncos really lucked out on having that good of a defense, kubiaks offense was very conservative and Peyton didn’t have the weapons he had that 2013 season. The o-line was atrocious and if they didn’t have CJ that year they probably would’ve lost in the Super Bowl.

Of any Tom Brady I’ve ever seen I gained more respect and admiration for him after this game.

The best game of the entire season a real nail biter all the way down to the last play.
He did it, Peyton pulled of the most improbable sb run. The man was injured, benched, old, and had to change his game style. The defense was key but Peyton played better then expected when it mattered and proved that he could beat the best and that he is a big gamer. People will undermine it but you can put what Peyton has done against any qb in nfl history.
No qb has ever mattered less to a superbowl winning team than the broncos with peyton manning. If the pats tie the game at the end they win in OT.

I was blessed enough to go to both Brady vs. Manning AFC Championship games in 2013 and 2015. I flew out from Illinois and paid too much money per ticket just to watch these games. I used to have St. Louis Rams season tickets and I have met Stephen Jackson in a restaurant in STL, so it was really cool to see him score in this game. I have no regrets about this. In 2013, I got to see the best offense of all time operate against the Patriots. In 2015, I got to see the best defense of all time operate against Tom Brady.

I remember watching this game in Colorado at a youth camp and being a pat fans seeing manning and the broncos end brady and the patriots season really hurt.... but much respect to the Denver Broncos and their fans they beat us fair and square 💔💙🧡 it's crazy to think of this Denver team with Peyton manning and now how recently the Miami Dolphins dropped 70 points on Denver and beat then by 50. How things have changed...

Peyton didn't even throw for 200 or more. In the super bowl he had just less than 150 yards and only 13 completions. His only passing touchdown was just a 2 point conversion. His last touchdown was to Owen Daniel/

A great win for Denver against Denver's biggest rival (New England). As a Broncos fan, while the game is being played between these two teams, I hate New England. But if New England is playing just about anyone else, I want New England to win. Never mind all of these scandal-gates, Belichick, Brady and Company are almost unparalleled in terms of success and deserve every accolade they receive.

It is currently 2024. I still think about this game and how this was probably one of the greatest games of all time. Every single aspect. The fact this was a rematch of when they were both undefeated late in the year, the fact it was the last Brady V. Manning, the fact this patriots offense was prime mix n match WRs and RBs with a healthy Gronk, versus the second greatest defense ever in the “No fly zone,” The fact that this was the first year the PAT was moved back and gostkowski hadn’t missed a single one all year UNTIL this game which led to the patriots to go for two in the last minute of the game to force overtime, The fact that EVERYTHING was adding up to the most intense last drive I’ve ever seen, and the fact this game was the Super Bowl level game of that season. Everything was so good about this. And it’s almost been a decade since it was played.
