It can happen if you are willing to farm the ultimate end game builds. I can consistently nail 2700+ Impact Craters on hammer.

I know it's the most efficient damage wise but I just can't bring myself to spam the same exact move repeatedly
and just think, the kinsect bug in the demo was doing like 10 times this damage

I can main IG like this. I will never let anyone convince me IG is mid anymore. I was playing Bow pretty much the entire Rise playthrough, tried my good ole reliable IG against Malzeno and just obliterated it.

Te refieres al ataque que es como una estocada? Es un ataque que el glaive tiene en su break, tienes que hacer el cambio con el gatillo y Y+B para tener ese set de movimientos

GS main here, didnt understand a single thing he did in the video. i liked the video cause good aestethic
Dunno if you're looking for a breakdown but the dive attack gets its attack boosted each time you bounce off the monster with aerial attacks, I think it stacks up to 3 times so you kinda just spam the piercing attack then dive.

I absolutely hate what they turned insect glaive into. Making its most powerful moves revolve around the most unsafe spot in the game is just awful. I give props to those who can do this and do it reliably because I get smacked around in the air like a God dammed volley ball when trying it and playing this weapon the old school way is just chipping away at a glacier with a toothpick.
Yeah, I preferred a lot more when going airborne was a way to make openings, I don't enjoy at all having to basically give up the entire moveset I've played for years just to spam the same 2 moves in the air :/
This is in general a problem I have with Sunbreak tbh, I feel like your damage depends a lot on spamming the same 1 or 2 new moves, I could just suck up the low dps and play my own way but when doing level 200+ investigations the difference in dps feels way too much :/
now do it again without traps 🤣

They are within the possibilities of the game and follow the rules listed by the MHR speedrun leaderboard

Why would we bother? If it is allowed in the rules, not using it is like shooting yourself in the foot before a race.

Nope, they are possible within the game and follow the Speedrun leaderboards rules on augments (even though this isn't a Speedrun, just a showcase)

This is why I like Monster hunter world more. This game lack impact. It feels like you are not hitting the target hard enough despite doing insane damage.
risebreak really is just 1 wirebug ultimate move/combo for every weapon.

There's no point. Capcom did a terrible job balancing attacks.
I wish i Wilds had this mechanic of changing attacks, but please don't have anything like the scroll
