Dr. Chuck Missler was and is my favorite teacher and is sorely missed. I thank God for the multitude of teaching material... videos, books, etc., that one can easily find. Dr. Ross is, in my opinion, every bit as interesting and enjoyable to listen to and learn from. Thank you so much for producing and posting this video ❤. GOD BLESS!!!

Amen, he's been a blessing to me as well! As a scientifically minded person (nutritional biochemistry researcher, future doctor), I was fascinated when I found Dr. Ross, and have watched several of his lectures (still haven't read his books, but definitely will). I'm very impressed by his wealth of knowledge and intellect, and clearly God has given him these gifts to help bring the science community to Christ! He certainly helped me! A big part of the way I evangelize to people is by presenting the irrefutable evidence from a scientific perspective for God, and our Lord Jesus! Dr. Frank Turek also presents similar scientific evidence, as well as from other aspects like philosophy, morality, etc. Apologetics is key for us Christians to know, as it's a great tool to help bring people to the Lord! Most people won't be convinced by us simply saying "It's true because I believe it's true", I've had many conversations with people online and in person about this, and there are so many ways we can evangelize to people- but using science is powerful! After all, God created science and the laws of physics, chemistry, biology, etc. It's truly amazing! Thank you Lord!

Dr Ross is such inspiring Christian Apologist!
He converted Rice University Professor, Dr Richard Smalley, to Christian faith.
Dr Smalley is well known to be the "father of nanotech" w his invention of fullerene/soccerball shaped molecule. Dr Smalley esp was interested in "Beyond the Cosmos" book, the chapter on Transdimentionality of God.
I enjoy seeing Dr Ross's Paradoxes classes on youtube.

Hold up......"Space_Time Theorems - _Any_ universe that expands on average has a spacetime beginning, implying a Casual Agent [note the capitalization letters, denoting a bias] outside space and time WHO creates space, time, matter, energy".
There are SO many loaded words that I reject that actual scientists stated this that already biased towards "the supernatural".
This is just "I don't see how any other way, therefore a god".
So no,....this theorem in no way states "therefore a god". Just another aspect of humanity without knowledge of what actually is. The whole premise starts off "poisoned".
"Fine tuning" doesn't mean "an agent fine tuned it". The _appearance_ of "fine tuning" doesn't mean it was. And those "three atheist physicists" saying things like this, even publishing in a peer reviewed paper, doesn't make "a god therefore true". Just more of our current lack of understanding. This is the problem with the entire presentation. It makes presuppositions based upon this.
The rest of the presentation is just "god of the gaps". It makes "god" _his_ answer,...but it isn't an actual answer.
Here's the thing on "how this universe is as it is". We only have a sample of _one_ to analyze. It could very well be that this universe was inevitable based upon the four fundamental forces and whatever else we haven't even conceived of that played a role in it. People will call that "god",...and if that's what they wish to do,....that's fine...for them. It doesn't make "a god", and especially "the gospel message"...therefore true.

You crack me UP! Surah 51 plagiarizes 1) Abraham 2) Moses 3) Noah 4) Then randomly throws in 51:47 "We built the universe with great might and we are certainly expanding it". a) Who is "We". b) this clearly is a random insertion having zero contextual validity! c) 51:48 "As for the earth, We spread it out. How superbly did We smooth it out!"
This is clearly gibberish, piecemealed from various portions of the Bible with zero understanding of the text or context by crappy translators!
So NO, the Quran stole the words from the Bible and randomly interjected them in ignorance at best!
      1) Surah 71:15 Claims 7 Heavens with the Stars closer to Earth than the Planets! - nonsense!
      2) Surah 81:16 Claims that the Sun sets in a muddy stream witnessed by a fictional character. Now because of modern science you play word gymnastics and lie to try and explain it away.
Yet, you want to imply that the Quran has some cosmological relevance knowing full well it is plagiary?
Allah's word has been written and cannot be changed! Surah 6:115
      1) If the Bible is false, then The Quran is false, For Allah claims responsibility for (or revealed) the Old and New Testament. (Tora and Gospel) Surah 3:3-4
      2) If the Bible is true, then the Quran is false, for the Old and New testament teaches that the God of the Bible is the One and ONLY God. Surah 5::6-8
      3) Either way, the Quran is false. It is the "Islamic dilemma" and there is no way around!
      4) Copies of the Bible, as we have it today, existed in the mid 600's AD when the Quran was written, not by Mohammed for he was dead, and not to mention he was illiterate when he was alive. So the claim of a false Gospel is moot. Surah 7:157
So if the Quran plagiarized from the Bible mentioning the expansion of the universe, who cares. It was plagiarized! Do you know what that means?!
The OT was finished a thousand years before the Quran!
The NT was finished four hundred years before the Quran!
Surah 5:43-47 States we are to judge by the Gospel (New Testament!). If we do not, then we are rebels against Allah!

This is a funny comment, despite all the “versions” you speak of, we have the oldest known manuscripts to man, and their differences over time are nearly nonexistent. We can actually trace any changes over time, and there are no theological differences derived between them. Also the Bible is the most copied book in history, with 10,000 more copies than Ancient Greek accepted books.

I like Dr Ross but.... He pretty much says we can't take the Bible literally.

The opposite is what he is stating.
We need to take it literally and consistently.
Heaven forbid that Christians actually understand what they are reading!
But, I hear you. I was raised in the YEC camp.
In my youth when I challenged doctrines (What do you mean there is no sun until day 4? That is just stupid!),
      I was told to "hush".
Maybe we should go back to the catholic days where only the elite that could read Latin were allowed to read the text-----------
Oh wait, that is how the problem started in the first place.---------
Non-Hebrew wannabe scholars creating a translation, then claiming that it is the only authorized version.--------
Oh wait, we have a King James only crowd - doh
Mark 7:7 People make stuff up and claim it is from God.
Mark 7:13 By your traditions you make void the word of God.
What do you mean Lion's didn't eat meat?

In English we call the daylight hours "day", we also call a 24 hour period "day". If I told you I worked all day, do you conclude that I worked from sun up to sun down or a 24 hour period? You probably would conclude that I worked 8 hours.

There are two things about which I would challenge Dr Ross.
Man does not have 'free will' and Scripture never says that he does. He has the freedom to make choices, which means that he can only choose from the options that are available. Any limitation precludes therefore, the notion of 'free will'.
Satan is not a proper noun, it is used in Scripture as a personification, as is often the case. There is no actual person, or 'fallen angel' called satan, or 'lucifer'; the fist is a gift from God that each of us has within us and the second is the result of a copyist's error.
I could elaborate on both of my objections but it would take too long. Perhaps I should add a third objection. God's intention to make man in his own image, was a process that is, and always has been, on-going. Again, space does not permit a full rebuttal.

The name Satan became Synonymous with the devil durning the second temple period. Study Michael Heisers work. It is interesting. As far as free will. There are different thoughts on that subject as well. No reason to dive into that here. But the reformed Calvinismo), molinist, and arminianism are sone of the larger three views.

Matter can not be made or destroyed,so what the universe was had always been, how big it was, we only know that it was small, its a fact, just because humans think its a God is strange, as if we did not make this story up or we did not exist at all there would be no God but everything else would still be here

@@djustaviewer3181 Don't you ever ask "where did this "Matter" come from? Even atheist scientists are saying that there is a "causal agent" (a thing that did it), and call the beginning " singularity event"( the one thing that happened). Scientist see design in the universe and say that the thing that did the one thing that happened. In the first 10 words of the Bible Moses said that it was God and that He created everything.

"Science" is not science anymore, it is scientism.
They go to people to tell them what to believe now, not God.
People are their gods... as long as they have a Phd or say "science" alot, they are qualified as their
source for truth. They don't need the Bible, they read other books and measure it against the Bible, not the other way around. They trust man more than God.
      Jeremiah 17:5
Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm,
and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
      Psalm 118:8-9
It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
