I hate to be negative because I don't know her age or circumstances. However, it is always wise to think long-term when buying or building a home. We all have dreams, but there is something called reality. If all her children are grown, who will occupy all those rooms in the house if she has children? Just some questions for people to think about in general.
Her reality is that she has grown children and grandchildren who frequently come to Liberia. They also plan on building and occupying her land and property. I don't see how owning too much land could ever be a negative in Liberia. It's a legacy and inheritance for your offspring.
@SheSpeaksToo , which is a good thing, and that's why my initial comment was about protecting that for the people she would want. I have seen instances where family members who should not have a share fight for those things, and it is sad.
In essence, please tell her to get a will because my mother is a victim of what I am talking about. My grandfather had over 50 acres, and people were coming out of the woodwork to claim the property. It is devastating because that is not want he would have wanted, but he didn't plan.
Women go through so much when building in liberia. It nah easy meh, those men dem can treat people bad. My own, I nah leh for any of dem to call me sister or ma, when they coming put pepper in your eye.
