You really dont realize just how good BTS is and how hard their music is to perform until you listen to someone else try to do it. Recently one of V's actor friends also performed one of his songs to show his support to him while he's in the military. I think it was really cute and endearing but the same thing happened here where you're like...its just not IT, you know?
ONE performance I will give props to is enhypen's cover of "I Need U" but from what I understand (correct me if im wrong army) I'm pretty sure BangPD directed their cover so that was prob also part of the reason why it was really well done.
Also, her name is So Yoon, and she's not in Le Serafim. RM usually doesn't work with other idols. Most of his musician friends are rappers/indie artists. I think there's only one live performance where she sings RM's verse (called ONSTAGE) but it's one of my least favorites bc they turned up the band WAY to high IMO, so you can barely hear her. But hear voice IS incredible.

rm also did write on other parts like i remember he wrote the “take on my knees” bc they told us he just suddenly had an epiphany and literally got on his knees in the studio while saying TAKE ON MY KNEES 😂

Everyone who collabed with her on that album had an episode where they were talking, RM was one of the episodes
so yoon and her band really deserve an album review. I love their music period.

also soyoon is really good with english i saw her live last year and she was engaging with the audience so well
There's a few versions where she has done his verse (one with the whole verse on Onstage, but her band is really loud so it takes away some of the intimacy), then she does the adlibs on the Curv version (way more intimate) and on Jay Park's Seasons shows (adlibs again, but not as intimate)

She is such a great solo artist and I love her group as well.
To be honest, I love this live performance of her more than on the record. Totally agree with you it could have been amazing if she tried to rap RM's part. Like what IU did with her collaboration with Suga "Eight" but she sang it not rap tho. Love the reaction as always 💜
