CNN: These debates must have a strong-willed neutral moderator willing to stop either candidate in their tracks for any interruption whatsoever of the other candidate's time, and firm about fact-checking both candidates in real time. They must be able to clarify the differences among fact, disinformation and opinion: "I think that the 3020 election was stolen" is an opinion, but "The 2020 election was stolen" is disinformation as no evidence exists to demonstrate it as fact. If either candidate insists on stating an unsupported opinion as fact, and repeats it after being corrected, the debate will have to end. Anything less will be a disaster -- with CNN to blame.
