Eliza reminds me of EAH characters like Faybelle Thorn, daughter of the dark fairy, and the EAH Daughter of the Fairy Godmother. She is very unique for a SH doll and I like how the eyebrows are angled downward a bit, making her look like a more malevolent Fae species. I actually don't hate the brighter blue on her, and she is overall my second favorite from the Rainbow Vision line.

Awesome review! It really sucks that the prices are going up but we are getting less outfits. I do plan on getting two of Eliza tho since I think she would make a good Kakegurui custom
I really like Eliza and think she's a special doll, but I 100% agree about the box. They made the same mistake with Lily Cheng's box. It does look very nice all closed up, but if you are buying it as a collector, there's no good way to display it in box.

Wow her glossy skin is stunning!! And idk if it’s just on camera or if it’s the same in person but the wings actually look really beautiful in the casing.. those dot shaped clasps or whatever they are even look nice, it reminds me of pixie dust or magic orbs

I’m blown away how her whole skin is pearlescent! Wow she is incredibly beautiful.
As for RH/SH boxes, I appreciate them, they are beautiful. But I do not keep any of the boxes. There are many aspects that I want to keep.
But as I’m carefully unboxing all the different types boxes. Something will rip and then I just toss it all away.
Eliza's my favorite in the Costume Ball line. I just love fairies, and I really like the cage skirt she has on. It's an interesting decision 'cause the dress would've been fine without one, but I think it adds a bit more shape and design.
She is definitely one of my favorites and can’t wait to get her.
Not worth the price imo, but I can't resist buying the three SH costumed girlies anyway!
I wish her makeup was softer. I was ready to get this doll based on the promo pictures alone, but from the videos I've seen of the actual doll, the bold makeup and the black text on the dress aren't selling me as much. I dunno why RH keeps doing this thing where they pair pastel colors with black. I'm so glad they didn't do this with Bella again at least.
I the the writing on the dress was blue instead, I think it clashes. I don't mind her.make up as much but think just blue tones would have matched better.

Very pretty doll but the price is too high! We were able to find 2 of the Pacific island dolls in Target for $9 each 2 days ago. So we are hoping that the dolls of this collection will go down in price!

I am very annoyed that out of all the colors to make the embroidery, they had to make it jet black. I'm not looking forward to removing the stitches if I find her on sale
I also found the black to be an interesting choice. A dark silver could’ve fit better 😩

I was thinking the same thing, I don't like how much it stands out & wish it was more easily removable.
i think a lot of people were excited for her, but once pictures started roaming around people were not as excited. personally for me it was the exact opposite, and i do like her the best out of the 3 shadow high girls. planning only on getting her and maybe lola, will have to wait and see until i watch your review of her

They’re floppy vinyl. Not very exciting.
A lot of the price-ing goes into the box and yes they usually get thrown away but another reason for the box is because it drags attention to people in stores

She's beautiful, but I'd pick that awful black embroidery off the dress. Absolutely no need for the ugly branding they always seem to put on these dolls and it spoils it imo.
She's my favorite one out of all of them. She reminds me of Natasha which is my favorite shadow high doll
I really don't like the writing on the dress, it just distracts from her beauty. If i get her I will probably take the time to remove it. Watch a movie and do it or something because to me it's just ugly.

I don't know if it's intentional on MGA's part, but the "fee" in her last name, written with an accent on the first "e" (like this => "fée"), it literally means " Fairy" in French, like her costume :).

Since these are Halloween dolls, I’m assuming they are going to go a clearance relatively quickly. I’ll pick some of them up then.
Well, a year and a half later they are on clearance at Walmart, in the stores only (not online). $11 each. Hope you were able to get some!

You're right about "Lycée de l'ombre" meaning Highschool of shadows, it's pronounced "Lee-say "( don't pronounce the y too much, it's the Cé like in Céline ) de ( insist on the e making an œ sound ( I don't know how to explain that better sorry)) and ombre, he has the first sylable right with the second one being pronounced "br", the e is silent here cuz it's at the end of the word

In the end I will be getting her and all the costume ball girls, but dang the price is ridiculous when the standard had already been set with having a 2nd outfit, Or make it cheaper if she doesn’t come with anything. She's a beautiful doll, but I'm not really a fan of the outfit. Also I don't like how all the dolls have school name branding all over the outfit. No real people have that much school spirit.

I'm going to get her. She's the only one I've really wanted. I like Demi and Bella too, but would only really get the latter if I can get her outfits separately, that way I just have one doll of her but all of her outfits lol. The box is pretty, but I wish they would have it open in the middle or have themed backgrounds for the dolls while inside of them. Or perhaps just have the box art of them behind them lol.
