This game has the highest level of good memories from all my years of gaming. I can't even begin to count the amount of hours I played this. I don't know why I loved this game so much more than others in the genre, I just did. It just felt like they nailed everything just right in this game. It's just my opinion, but 2011 was and is an all time classic. Probably because it was the first game to introduce Universe mode.
This game actually looks and plays better than the mostly disappointing 2k series on 8th generation, there are few 8th generation games that can't run on a 7th gen hardware which makes 8th gen the most ridiculous console generation in modern days.

My platinum streak continued. I quite enjoyed the introduction of deeper match options. I would always set the elimination rule on for triple threats and fatal fourways . Needless to say, this game had me VERY spoiled.
In the SvR only titular bubble, after SvR 2007, SvR 2011 is next particularly since this introduced Universe mode, then 2006 and 2010 tied, then the original SvR then 2008 and at the bottom is 2009.
True I feel bad for getting into the 7th gen really late wwe 13 is where I felt I took the biggest hit there’s so much dlc that I missed out and I can’t download it anymore 😔
I use to laugh in the john cena storyline when everyone accuses him of being to rough on his opponents when i barely did any damage to them. But when i actually try and do damage, their fine the next day.

This was the last one I bought until 2k18, and damn was it good. I just felt no need to buy any of them between 12 and 2k17 (though I heard 2k17 is pretty good). This game just had so much content, that I saw no need to upgrade. And it let me make Kinnikuman characters, which is a thing sorely missing from the 2k games.
2k17 is PACKED with features on the next gen consoles. it has crowd fighting. going backstage during matches. but i bet 2k18 is just a better version. so yeah enjoy your games

I wasn't having much replay value with this game. Didn't really like Road to WrestleMania. Had some cool storylines but to me when you take out season mode and GM mode, the game doesn't have much replay value. That's why I'm going back and getting a PS2 and picking up Smackdown Shut Your Mouth, Here Comes the Pain, SVR 04, SVR 06, 07, and then 08. Completely skipping 09 and the rest of them
i really enjoyed this one when it came out, i bought all the dlc for it, and always a plus when 90's kane, and stone cold is in the roster, I'm very picky with my favorites, my number 1 is WWF No Mercy, along with it is, smackdown 2, just bring it, here comes the pain, wrestlemania 21, svr 2006, svr 2008, svr 2011, thank you wwe 13 for paying homage to the almighty attitude era, and recently 2k16, it's crazy how they got the rights again to have undertaker come out to limp bizkit, alot of people hate limp bizkit, but as a kid it was so badass to me when undertaker, and kane come out it.

Completely agree, especially in universe mode, you might run into other wrestlers on the show in the back too. I'd also say they should've implemented story designer cutscenes in the universe mode
Not a perfect game but my favourite svr game, if they didn't mess up the moveset and made universe as customizable as 13 with some story designer cutscenes implemented, it would be perfect

Jeff and Kennedy were in TNA. As for the others it’s unknown why they weren’t in the game. I noticed with the last 3 SvR games they’d remove legends for no reason then add them back in later games.

Not the greatest game in the world and I had become annoyed with wwe games by this point but my God if only we knew the kind of games we'd get after this. This game would get so much more love if we knew 2k would suck so hard
