Man that whole section about your family split and everything going on with you at that time really hit home. These kind of games were such an escape for so many of us, I really appreciate you sharing something from your life that isn’t just happy times because everyone has those portions of their life. Loved the video and thanks for all the content as always!!
The soundtrack segment really gave me chills. Like I was 8 years old again sitting in front of my little tv, not a care in the world. Thanks for sharing your story man.
Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 is legendary, it has an epic soundtrack, great gameplay, great match types, GM Mode, Season Mode and even customize your own locker room. Hell it even has neat challenges for you to complete as an option. Plus a trophy locker in your locker room during season mode. This was the first wrestling game I ever played
One of the things i remember most about SVR 07 on the ps2 is that the Rock had no teeth. On a serious note though, that divorce story hit close to home for me. My folks divorced when I was 8 and my mom would have multiple boyfriends a year. But even as she would move us from one strange guy's house to another in her crusade to fill the void that was left after a failed marriage to my father, wrestling and video games were my escape as well. I appreciate what you do, Ian and im glad you are here. You're the man.
These games gave me an opportunity to escape from real world problems my Mon was facing. Didn’t ever realize my brother and I were just hiding in the basement playing these games to escape. And in that escape I have fantastic memories with him, having too much fun playing these games.
I hear you. I was in my early 20s and used HCTP and the GameCube’s WWE WrestleMania XIX as escapes from the reality of my mother’s struggle with breast cancer in 2003, which she tragically ended up losing the final day of that year, new year’s eve. I don’t know where I’d be without them and also going over to my friends place a couple days a week to get away from it all.
@@a.grimes4202 God bless you and your Mother. My mother went through cancer, survived. But I remember the tough times going through it and taking care of her. Cheers to you mate. Wishing you happiness and peace in your life.

Arguably the best gameplay of the whole series in my opinion, this has my favorite licensed soundtrack in not just WWE game history, but in video game history as a whole (Survive by Rise Against, I swear, SO beautiful😭, both classics from Nonpoint & Three Days Grace, Stiches by Allele, and more), arguably the best season mode in the whole series, the best interpretation of GM Mode, the creation modes were SO expansive, the match types were all there, and the replay value is INSANE! Lastly, the fact that this game took place in the peak of me and my family’s enjoyment of WWE, in 2006, is just all the more sweeter. I know it’s not the most perfect year ever, but we don’t care, we’ll forever love Ruthless Aggression, no matter the haters. Thank you so much, Ian, for reminding me of my childhood memories, and reminding me why I love this one😌. Lastly, I’m sorry for hearing what happened to you growing up with this one. I’m glad the game is super fun in order to remove your stress, and give you better memories. Easily your best wrestling game review yet, and I can’t thank you enough, Ian. Much love to you, and all the DanDans, for allowing me to share with you my memories with these games.😌❤️🫂 See you guys next time😊
Proof that wrestling and video games can be a healthy escape. I’m happy to hear you share what this game meant to you and how it got you through a difficult time in your life bro. Good shit.
I’m so glad you mentioned ladder finishers without even being on the ladder. My friend had this game on PS2 when we were roommates, and we were taking Mick Foley through the career mode. We got to a ladder match with JBL that we just couldn’t win. Finally, we did it, we were on the ladder reaching for the prize, JBL was down on the mat, and then suddenly the game cut to JBL on top of the ladder suplexing me off and onto the ground. I never played again haha. This was a treat, man. I hope those Mickey James shirts end up on ProWrestlingTees.

@@616Entertainment the PSP got a super jank port when it released, I had it on PS2 for the longest time and got the PSP version literally just to play GM Mode in the car lol
I can say that video games was there when nobody else was for sure. While I didn't experience the family split, I was treated like that animal that is brought home and is given just the essentials to live. Thanks for sharing Ian and great retrospective.
Good god! As a famous man once said. This game brings me nostalgia like how you have nostalgia with no mercy thank you so much Ian for bringing me back when I was eight years old and played with my older brother and all of my friends after some pizza and a few games of mortal Kombat and blitz the league
Thanks for sharing your stories. The relationship with my parents (and they with themselves) wasn't great. Art, games, books, and entertainment provided a much needed escape, and probably kept me more sane than I otherwise would have ended up.
Thank you Ian for another amazing retrospective of one the classics. Sad to say that SvR 07 marked the beginning of my detachment from the wrestling world and WWE games. I still follow wrestling and may play WWE games here and there, but not with the same passion as before 2007-08. I owned (and still do) SvR 08 but didn't play it as much. 07 was the last WWE game I fully enjoyed. I got my first real job, dated someone for the first time, spent more time outside with friends, etc... if that game brings any memories is probably of that time in my life, so a bit bittersweet, yet I still remember the crazy storylines which I look forward to relive whenever you decide to do full playthroughs! Thank you also for sharing such a personal story and I am glad to see that you were able overcome the advsersity and become one of the best youtubers out there. Much love brother.
I don't have as much of a bond with this one as '06 but man that soundtrack definitely still hits. I can see how someone growing up playing the previous Smackdown games would start to get turned off with the motion controls at this point. Cool to hear that you still enjoyed it. Also keep showing your memory card, I love being nostalgic about that stuff! (Even though it makes even a 25 year old feel old lol - that was 15 years ago??)
i just recently received a lifetime ban on wwe 2k23 and it gave me the same thoughts and feelings about how these games since day one have given me a escape and opened up my artistic and creative side, thank you for everything you do and putting into words how something as silly and weird as wrestling can help and make someone feel better and at time worse but we love it, these games and memories will always beat being turned away and not given a second chance in this day and age. Much love to everyone. I play these games on my channel too but never as good as you my friend, ive enjoyed it for years
This game was my favorite in the series, because the time that I had with it. We had like 10 people playing for belts and documented everything. TVs for buildup and contention and PPVs to close it out. I could trek stories for days about how fun and shocking at times it was, but I'll save you the words. Me and my cousin take turns holding onto the blue notebook it was all documented in and still have it to this very day. I spent the entire time as US Champion up until he dethroned me on our last PPV. Man, what a time. Great retrospective, as always
I’ve been waiting for you to cover this one for so long, because this is actually my favorite wrestling game all time. The last one that I had played before this was Shut Your Mouth, so to say that I was surprised at how far the series had come would be a rather large understatement. I really feel that this particular game was the turning point with wrestling games going full thrusters in the direction of simulation-based gameplay. That being said, however, it still has enough of a “video game feel” to it that prevents the difficulty level of the current crop of WWE games. Another stellar retrospective, my good man. Your hard work is GREATLY appreciated 🤘🏼
As an Xbox guy since the OG Xbox, but also a PSX owner and lover of Smackdown! and Smackdown! 2, you can be sure I bought SvR07 on the Xbox 360 the day it came out. I miss things like the Ultimate Control features that have been dumbed down in most areas and removed in a lot of other areas. The SvR era was one of my favorites in wrestling game history. Another awesome retrospective brother, I can't wait to see the future trilogy and the future of Triangle X Squared Circle!
I am so glad this game served as that escape during a rough time in your life man. I do have memories of this game and even some of the negatives i had (mainly GM Mode and roster stuff) this game was fantastic. This was a great review and I appreciate the insight on your life as well…
Hey man there's nothing wrong with getting real it's a good way to connect to your audience as a lot of us can relate in some way. Lost my momma to cancer the year GTA 5 came out and playing online with my buddies helped me through that year. But regardless enjoy your videos bro and can't wait for the next triangle X squared O.
I got this game a year after I got my PS2, it’s an absolute staple of my childhood and it was at the peak of my wrestling fandom. The soundtrack, the gameplay and the roster this is my favorite game of all time. As well had plenty of fun playing with my cousins. This game is and will forever be my favorite video game of all time.
Glad to see you're back with the in depth wrasslin retrospectives! No slight to your other content, but this is the kind of thing that got me supporting
Thank you for continuously trusting our ever growing online 616 Entertainmaint crew with many of your most intimate personal experiences associated with many of the things you cover @Ian we all got you man, just like you always strive to get us.
This game is so nostalgic for me I have very vivid memories that I remember sleeping getting ready to go to school then my dad woke me up and said I had a doctors appointment so we went to the doctors and on our way back home we stopped at a game store and picked Up WWE SVR 2007 for PS2 then we headed home and played all night enjoying the game and for my birthday my grandpa also got time the game for the PSP cause I took it with me everywhere when I was younger
This game was my most played game of my entire childhood. I too share some memories of this game through very difficult times. This video was made with perfection. I love this channel.
Man I feel you on the personal stuff. My parents divorcing when I was 7 wasn’t the worst part of my childhood. Nope that would be when my mom brought her 2nd husband into my life. Videogames distracted me from how terrible those years were and even today at almost 40 I still enjoy playing old school games. It’s ingrained in me
I want to thank this game for getting me into three days grace, nonpoint and rise against when I was 12, i still remember giving all my caws animal i have become as their entrance music
26:02 I did the same when my parents divorced, skipped school, cut classes, did some pretty bad stuff, got in trouble with the police, ended up getting expelled from school in my final year and having to go to a different school. And to be honest all that was just the start of my downward spiral and I ended up in prison years later. I wish I could turn the clock back 25 years and tell myself not to do those things. It effects us all differently but I’m pleased you got through it and look at you now making these brilliant videos. Well done. 😊👍
@@616Entertainment Thank you, yes it was pretty tough and as much as I can blame my parents divorce I have to accept responsibility for my own actions too. I too tried to escape the reality of the situation into the world of video games, my ‘go to’ was Resident Evil 2 (PS1) which I had from release day and I just played it over and over again so much that I became an expert at it and managed to finish Leon A in about 57 minutes. So I enjoyed your resident evil history video too 😊. I wish I had the time and patience to do that now with the remake but unfortunately life doesn’t allow that these days.
The date on your last play through of Smackdown VS Raw 2007 was my 13th birthday xD that’s pretty wild as I would say 2007 was one of my favorites as a kid xD
This was a very special episode. This and 06 are my 2 stand out SvR games. Unfortunately 07 was stolen from me as a kid and didn't get it again till later on in life. Had a lot of good times creating tna guys as well as some classic guys. With everything you talked about personally at the end, that hit home for a lot of us I think and we really appreciate you telling your stories man. With that save being gone, and overwritten, I hope that closes that awful time of your life out of existence. Much love brotha ❤
Bro!!! MAD RESPECT for sharing a little of your life with us. When I think of these games, I think of being the oldest of 4. My mom was a single mother. We were on food stamps. My mom worked full time so she could raise us. All my friends from junior high were joining the neighborhood gang (Norteños). But I had to take care of my younger siblings while my mom worked. And the games that were there to help me kill time and keep me out of trouble? The SmackDown vs Raw series, Def Jam Fight for NY, Resident Evil 4, GTA San Andreas, and the DBZ Budokai series. I look back now and, yeah, my siblings were annoying. But we did have a lot of fun playing these games. Be well, man. Till the next one!!
Honestly man, the whole story about your family falling apart and you messing up in school and escaping with video games, I felt like you were taking thoughts from my own head. Respect brother. Great video
Thank you Ian! I love watching your wrestling retrospective! I’m glad I bought this game for the Xbox 360! It’s still fun to play! I still have the original copy that my mom bought me back in middle school.
Amazing review my number 3 favorite wrestling game ever made me and my brother used to play this game 24/7 thank you for capturing this it brings back so many memories. 👍
damn... I actually missed the wrestling svr reviews of this channel and last week I hapend to rewatch all the "old" episodes and by the end I was already hoping to find the svr2007 episode. it felt like a bumber having to wait god knows how much. In the meantime, since I actually felt like playing these games again because of this show, I even setted up my steamdeck to play these gems. I'm currently shuffling throught them all. And out of the blue... there it was the episode released "6h ago". Thank you ❤
Definitely my favorite SVR of all time and definitely the best sound track. But I am today old to found out you can do multiple tables 😮😮😮 😡 how I never knew. Good episode 👍🏻
I was wondering if someone would comment on this. It's funny, I chose that clip because it was a nice shot and I hadn't used it yet, but in the edit, when I previewed it, that's how it went. "You're lookin' at it." Me looking at the screen: "How 'bout it"
Svr 2007, was my jam. My first wrestling online experience. We had leagues and groups. We had a guy that would put together gang wars, post them on TH-cam. This game is so much fun. I made the best Captain Jack created wrestler. Thank you for this.
King of the Dan Dans , dont concern yourself with folks that wrongly say you are "negative" about this or that, they dont get it. What you are is honest and alot of folks arent used to that anymore. Keep being you @Ian , that is what keeps us coming back again and again.
Fantastic video! I got into wrestling in late 2005 when I picked up a copy of Here Comes The Pain one day and popped it in the PS2 on a whim. Little did I know between HCTP, SVR 06 and SVR 07 we were at the pinnacle of WWE games and by the time SVR 08 rolled around it became apparent that I would have to cycle through those 3 games (and No Mercy of course) for years to come. As silly as it sounds this will always be one of my most cherished Christmas gifts my parents could've ever given me. If only I could go back in time and bottle up the joy 13 year old me had unwrapping the package, popping in the disk and playing through for the first time.
I know exactly how you feel. I went through it when my folks split. I made a choice that I would be constructive and not destructive. I started really looking at music, video games, certain TV shows, anime, and wrestling to get myself right as I prepped for life without both parents in my house.
This was fantastic man! Hate to hear that you went through that man. I went through the exact same thing and just like you, video games kept me above water in what it can only be very dark days. These wrestling games helped me keep busy and am so glad they did. We love ya brotha and happy those days are behind us brotha👍#ThanksForWhatYouDo #WeAreTheDanDans #MuchLove #Retrospective
I've always wondered, is that Superman fig in the blue box the DC Direct Dark Knight Returns figure? I have the Joker fig from that line and the box looks just like that. The Superman fig is advertised on the back of the box but I can't tell for sure if that's it or not lol
@616Entertainment Oh nice! Love me some Alex Ross! Kingdom Come is still one of my favorite comic stories ever and always has a place on my coffee table along with an Alex Ross art book
This game is truly iconic for me. That soundtrack has always been my favorite in any wrestling game and the intro of GM mode as well as the stamina meter were great! I loved doing Money in the Bank matches over and over they were crazy hard fought battles and I loved every second of it. The stamina meter made fights feel more immersive to me. Instead of seeing wrestlers pop right back up no matter how much damage they took they instead had to take time to recover and gave the player a small break from the intense action. This game will forever be one I play with anyone willing!
Hitting me with the nostalgia of one of my favorite wrestling games of all time. That Undertaker predicting the future of Benoit and Benoit’s face was priceless 😂 and sad as fuck for the victims involved… 2007 was a bad year for WWE. TNA was on 🔥 and I was hoping they would finally be legit competition for the WWE but they never stuck when the time was right. And I mentioned Benoit and obviously what happened shook the wrestling world, the sports world as far as concussions and the world in general. At least we had Smackdown vs Raw to take our mines off things for a bit.
Another home run retrospective episode. But I had to stop halfway to leave this comment... you just touched on the music of SvR '07, and the second i heard those songs I got hit by an expected rush of memories that had me tearing up hardcore. It was the weirdest thing....I dunno, I guess it was a reminder of a Simpler time during our teenage years and a time when we still had so many loved ones who are now gone. Wanted to say thank you for just that moment alone. Also for reminding me what a banger track list we had in the mid 2000' compared to what we have now lol
Ahhh I've been looking forward to this for as long as your Retrospective series has existed. I absolutely adored this game growing up. Phenomenal roster (Debut Kane, Dusty Rhodes, and all 4 Foley's were among my favorite inclusions). Loved the soundtrack - one of the best ever in franchise history. Among my favorite features in this game were: - the customizable Locker Room. - unlocking Infinite Attribute Points for the Creation Suite by winning a year of GM Mode. - the hardest-to-accomplish feats in the game actually being well-rewarded (Million Dollar and Hardcore Championships, Saturday Night's Main Event and ECW One Night Stand Arenas, etc.). - getting to play all of those awesome and whacky storylines in Season Mode...with legends. Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, and Mick Foley are fully playable here - all of whom were fully voiced over by their real-life counterparts for the mode! Rolling through with these guys yields some fantastic and, at times, hilarious results. If you ever get a chance to give these three playthroughs a whirl, you're in for a real treat. It especially tugs the heartstrings doing it as the late, great Hot Rod, who was always one of my favorite legends. Seriously, if you haven't experienced it, his playthrough of Season Mode is a real treasure. - being able to use a second controller to help make matches easier across all modes - especially while going for the Legends Trophy. The only things I ever really found even remotely irritating about this game were the control scheme (like you said, it was not at all easily accessible) and the fact that Dusty was stuck wearing that Million Dollar Championship until you eventually put in the work to unlock it (it was what I've always liked to call the "Hundo" of the game(100% completion reward or Ultimate reward of a game - along with the couple other rewards you got for winning the prestigious Legends Trophy)). Eventually I will pick this title back up, for sure. Great times! Knocked another one out of the park, Six!
This was one of the first wrestling video games I ever played as a kid and I'm glad you reviewed it. Hearing you get personal about where you were when you first played it was a reminder of why I became a wrestling fan all in all. Thank you! I look forward to your next review
Great review, this ranks in my top 10 wrestling games ever. I played this game ALL spring & summer in 2007 because I got the PS2 version for my 12th birthday.
Thank you for sharing your personal story man. I appreciate your personal intake on the history of these games. I too have good and bad memories while playing with this game in particular. Appreciate your channel and you are a person. Hope you doing much better nowadays.
"I don't have divorce footage, so enjoy these entrances"... that made me chuckle. Child of divorce here, too. Happened back in 1990, just before I turned 10 years old, and I STILL acted out as a teenager... so don't be too hard on yourself, Ian. It all led to where you are NOW. Keep it up!
From the moment i clicked on this video i was just waiting for you to play that Three Days Grace song Edit: Ive seen that happen before too with the commentators talking about a wrestler not even in the match. Its only happened to me once and while i dont recal who the commentators were talking about i know it was Joey Styles (in SvR 2008) talking about someone that wasnt even wrestling.
Man I feel ya, when my parents divorced, the world of Videogames also helped me. Not at all, i also skipped school … and do shit, but videogames really helped me, still today. Continue ur great work, it’s a bless to follow u 👌🏻
Now having a PS2 since October of 2022, this was the first game I bought, and my word, this game is truly the greatest game I played, sure the bugs on this game, especially for its commentary, was off. But Also funny 😂. And so sorry to hear what you had to go through homie. But I'm glad you we're able to get through the rough times with the greatest SVR Game ever. Hope you have a safe one homie. Stay safe. ❤️😊🙏
My dad got me into wrestling when I was a very small child. But by 2006 everyone I recognized was gone so neither my dad nor me watched any wrestling by that time. But I got SvR 2007 for Christmas along with my brand new Xbox 360 and I was hooked. I played that game day and night. It was the best wrestling game ever made because there were just so many options, the gameplay was fun and the graphics were like real life. I still think the Story Mode is the best story mode of all wrestling games with all the options, and the fully voiced wrestlers. And GM mode still hasn't been beaten since. Even with it's return to WWE games recently.

Oh man that's horrible!!
Good god! As a famous man once said. This game brings me nostalgia like how you have nostalgia with no mercy thank you so much Ian for bringing me back when I was eight years old and played with my older brother and all of my friends after some pizza and a few games of mortal Kombat and blitz the league
Hell yea dude, great times.
Thanks for sharing your stories. The relationship with my parents (and they with themselves) wasn't great. Art, games, books, and entertainment provided a much needed escape, and probably kept me more sane than I otherwise would have ended up.
We all have our escapes!
Excellent memories, man. Excellent.
I'm glad I have those files still, lots of stories tied to them.
616Entertainment- What song is this playing around 26:42?...
It sounds familiar, but, I can't remember it.
i just recently received a lifetime ban on wwe 2k23 and it gave me the same thoughts and feelings about how these games since day one have given me a escape and opened up my artistic and creative side, thank you for everything you do and putting into words how something as silly and weird as wrestling can help and make someone feel better and at time worse but we love it, these games and memories will always beat being turned away and not given a second chance in this day and age. Much love to everyone. I play these games on my channel too but never as good as you my friend, ive enjoyed it for years
Thanks man, I appreciate it.
You did the right thing: a true great always goes out looking at the lights.
Ian, you really have a way with words. This was another amazing video. Thank you! ❤
Thanks man, I try.
This was one of my favourite wrestling games. This, 09 and 10 were awesome.
Greatest wrestling game ever made. I still have the PS2 version and play it regularly.
The "Offer Still Stands" inserts seriously cracked me up! Another stellar retrospective, Ian. 😅
Thanks dude, I appreciate it. More to come, brudda.
To this day, this remains my favorite SvR as far as the soundtrack goes. SvR 2005 went hard, this game went even harder.
Your retrospectives are the best!
Plenty more to come, my dude.
Hands down the best soundtrack of any sports game ever!!
I am so glad this game served as that escape during a rough time in your life man. I do have memories of this game and even some of the negatives i had (mainly GM Mode and roster stuff) this game was fantastic.
This was a great review and I appreciate the insight on your life as well…
Thanks man. More to come.
Really sorry to hear that, brudda. RIP to your mom.
I appreciate it
I got this game a year after I got my PS2, it’s an absolute staple of my childhood and it was at the peak of my wrestling fandom.
Seasons in, seasons out! Unless I say they're gone for good, they'll always be back. =)
Now THIS is what i call a professional retrospective! Keep up the good work my brother, i really enjoy it.
Thank you for continuously trusting our ever growing online 616 Entertainmaint crew with many of your most intimate personal experiences associated with many of the things you cover @Ian we all got you man, just like you always strive to get us.

God I forgot how HARD this games soundtrack went
That was my childhood just listening to them songs 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ian, thanks for sharing your story. Excellent work, as always. Your passion for the topics you cover always shine through. Thanks for everything.
I try man, thank you.
Great memories, man.
@@616Entertainment yeah definitely those are the memories I’ll always cherish
This game was my most played game of my entire childhood. I too share some memories of this game through very difficult times. This video was made with perfection. I love this channel.
The hours I spent on this game was way too damn high. Thank you for taking me back down memory lane.
Loved the soundtrack to this game! I think 2006 was the best year for music.
Any time before Drake was better than now!
For music in general? Like in the history of time?!
It’s ingrained in me
Sorry to hear you went through dark times to, man. We all do. Gotta keep going. Glad to hear you did!
I want to thank this game for getting me into three days grace, nonpoint and rise against when I was 12, i still remember giving all my caws animal i have become as their entrance music
Great soundtrack for sure.
Well done. 😊👍
Thanks man. Sorry to hear you went through some darkness too, but glad to hear you got through to the other side.
Happy 13th birthday! Hahahaha
About to be my 29th in a few months xD man does time fly, thanks for all that you do, I love your content!
I hope whoever stole it breaks their toes.
The soundtrack still slaps nowadays it was how I found out who Ghostface Killer was and which in turn led me to Wu Tang Clan
Dude huge shout out to your mom, sounds like a LEGEND, man.
Honestly man, the whole story about your family falling apart and you messing up in school and escaping with video games, I felt like you were taking thoughts from my own head. Respect brother. Great video
We've all been through some darkness, man. I hear ya.
Thank you Ian! I love watching your wrestling retrospective! I’m glad I bought this game for the Xbox 360! It’s still fun to play! I still have the original copy that my mom bought me back in middle school.
You had the pretty one! Hahahaha
Amazing review my number 3 favorite wrestling game ever made me and my brother used to play this game 24/7 thank you for capturing this it brings back so many memories. 👍
Thanks for watching!
Thank you ❤
More to come! From No Mercy and this, Season 3 is just getting started. More to come!
Quick question: I noticed that Kurt was wearing the undisputed WWE championship. Is it unlockable and available for all platforms(PS2/PSP/XBOX)?
I DONT WANT TO BE AFRAAAAAID... OF LETTING GOOOOOOOOO!!!
Definitely my favorite SVR of all time and definitely the best sound track. But I am today old to found out you can do multiple tables 😮😮😮 😡 how I never knew. Good episode 👍🏻
Gotta get that stack going!
26:07 "What kept me sane during these turbulent times? You're lookin at it"
Flash cut to Lita's tiddies.
I was wondering if someone would comment on this. It's funny, I chose that clip because it was a nice shot and I hadn't used it yet, but in the edit, when I previewed it, that's how it went.
"You're lookin' at it."
Me looking at the screen: "How 'bout it"
@@616Entertainment never change bro 😂
Svr 2007, was my jam. My first wrestling online experience. We had leagues and groups. We had a guy that would put together gang wars, post them on TH-cam. This game is so much fun. I made the best Captain Jack created wrestler.
Thank you for this.
King of the Dan Dans , dont concern yourself with folks that wrongly say you are "negative" about this or that, they dont get it. What you are is honest and alot of folks arent used to that anymore. Keep being you @Ian , that is what keeps us coming back again and again.
Oh don't worry, I don't care about it, hahaha
RAW 2 on the Xbox was such a solid game. You could rip music from CDs to use as custom entrance music. I sunk countless hours into that game
That will 100% be covered in the episode.
This was one of my favorite svr games. This and svr 2008.
I'm an '06 guy, hahaha
This game holds so much nostalgia for me. One of the better SDVR games
It's a good one for sure.
I know exactly how you feel. I went through it when my folks split. I made a choice that I would be constructive and not destructive. I started really looking at music, video games, certain TV shows, anime, and wrestling to get myself right as I prepped for life without both parents in my house.
Sorry to hear you went through it too, man.
This was fantastic man! Hate to hear that you went through that man. I went through the exact same thing and just like you, video games kept me above water in what it can only be very dark days. These wrestling games helped me keep busy and am so glad they did. We love ya brotha and happy those days are behind us brotha👍#ThanksForWhatYouDo

I'm glad you found solace and peace in the SvR game. I'm glad all of us here are part of the wrestling family.
This game was my life as a child . Had to get a ps2 and a copy of this game for pure nostalgia
Yes!
Absolutely loved this soundtrack, might be my favourite non-GTA licensed soundtrack ever. Only improvement would be entrance themes in the menus
had to give a like just for letting all the snippets of those songs play at around the 15:51 mark, good stuff ha.
I've always wondered, is that Superman fig in the blue box the DC Direct Dark Knight Returns figure? I have the Joker fig from that line and the box looks just like that. The Superman fig is advertised on the back of the box but I can't tell for sure if that's it or not lol
I have that one, but the one in the background is the Alex Ross style classic Superman. Same packaging through, good eye!
TNA was so good at this time, man.
When I was watching that part, my jaw dropped.
This was the first SVR I played thanks to me being an Xbox kid. It was nice to finally get to play a good wrestling game. Lol.
Yea it was important to me to actually play some of the music. Nothing beats really hearing it.
Respect bud. Thanks for sharing. Hope you enjoy your weekend.
Beautiful retrospective Ian. This is my favourite one yet.
Among my favorite features in this game were:
- the customizable Locker Room.
There were so many good parts, I'm glad you have so many great memories with this one. Thanks for watching!
Got emotional when I heard the soundtrack so many memories and nostalgia
This was one of the first wrestling video games I ever played as a kid and I'm glad you reviewed it. Hearing you get personal about where you were when you first played it was a reminder of why I became a wrestling fan all in all. Thank you! I look forward to your next review
Great review, this ranks in my top 10 wrestling games ever.
I played this game ALL spring & summer in 2007 because I got the PS2 version for my 12th birthday.

Greatest wrestling game ever made.
4th best WWE game
My favorite is Smackdown Shut Your Mouth
Top 5 indeed
yes! 2006 was my peak fandom & this game was my life
2006 is the best for me.
Oh the hundreds of hours and dollars spent renting this gem back in the day! Love it keep up the good work
Damn you could have just saved and bought it at that point lol
Great memories!
I love this channel and this series!
Thanks Sean!
Great memories!
Dusty was also in Showdown: Legends of Wrestling
...He was, wasn't he? Dammit.
