That’s funny that what I was going to do with my sticker too when I get this set and glad someone did before I did so I know it would work and still look great like it should of in the first place
I saw the set today in LEGO store in Poland, and I gotta say it’s a real show stopper, literally it stands at the entrance of the shop and everybody who sees it is in awe of the set, people gathering around it and taking pictures!! After seeing it in real life I decided to get it first instead of Diagon Alley or the big Hogwarts castle. It’s simply stunning and an impressive display piece
I've been waiting for your review 😊 I'm just over five hours into your live stream on replay and have really been enjoying it... I can't wait to build the set myself!
That goblin with the "destroyed" face print is actually Bogrod, the one whom they cast the Imperius curse on to get into the vault. The set might've implied that he survived being burnt alive by the dragon, but he oviously died, although it is funny that they included that face regardless. Now that I think of it, that is the face Bogrod would have if they ever remade the two LEGO Harry Potter games with updated graphics, dialogue during the cutscenes and in game, and modernized designs for the characters. You know, because LEGO games would ocassionally alter scenes from the original films to make them more "family-friendly."
1.11 sounds like you pronounced Granger as Drainger here and 1.27 it is not a new hair mould, it is a re colour of the hair used for Jason Momoa's Aquaman minifigures
Meh, would have liked it better if it were just the top portion of Gringotts. The bottom portion just adds extra cost and doesn't work well for anyone wanting to display it with the rest of Diagon Alley
Im so sad that the gwp sold out so quickly😢 I was gonna get this set on the third of september but then😭😭😭😭 the gwp was sold out so I guess I will buy this later but this feels uncompleted without it so 😔
11.03 just plain wrong, Harry doesn't touch the Hufflepuff Cup with his bare hand, he uses the Sword Of Gryffindor and two the Hufflepuff Cup des not duplicate as it an Horcrux!
Very nice to come back to Belgium from the holidays - go Sunday evening the 3th online and view it sold out. Called the next day to our local Lego Store and they told me they were out of stock since Saterday the 2nd. Do not do a campaign stating it is till the 10th and then not having enough stock. Everybody would understand if you came the 9th or the 10th and they would say "sorry we are sold out" but sold out already the 2nd day? that is just bad management. Then again we are talking about Lego ...
This is certainly not the greatest Harry potter set! The bank should have been bigger and the lower part is not even needed. You can't display the lower part with the Diagon alley set and if you take it off and just display the bank then where do you put the lower part? Lego had a real missed opportunity by not just making a big UCS style bank with a lot more teller booths and more detail. The lower vault part was not needed and impossible to display nicely with the diagon alley set. What a shame! Lego dropped the ball on this for sure!
I agree with you and I don’t see this as a UCS set as the underground section is fully a play set. It is nice to have but I just wanted the bank (along with many others) and simply was not willing to pay the $$ to have the underground just sitting there unused. Since I don’t see another option I will need to build my own Gringotts. 😂 Cannot even compare the value to the DA set. Why Lego
Don’t get me wrong I appreciate your channel and like it, but I think you have far too many criticisms for this set. Not saying Lego couldn’t have made it any better but without making it anymore expensive there’s not much they can do without adding a lot of extra costs. For example the vaults being 6 studs deep is an absurd amount for the size of the set IMO, as well as a complete 2nd floor or no other side builds I feel like the side builds are great

I'm glad you cut the sticker. It looks much better like that.
I think so too!

You’re wrong about the part where you said the goblin is from upstairs and doesn’t go downstairs, he was literally the one who went down

I picked up one for a friend and 3 for myself on the first day of release.
