@@CheeseyStudios I would love to display it connected to my Diagon Alley set on a 2 tiered shelf with a section cut out of the top shelf. So the modular buildings are connected and the railroad track extends through the top shelf's hole, and sits on the lower shelf.
the one thing I don't like about the new Gringotts is how you can't display it in the 'Alley' configuration with the buildings right in front of eachother and the cobblestones forming the street itself. You need to place Gringotts at an angle which doesn't connect the alley itself anymore

I love how the built the stand to give some breathing room for the baseplate instead of making it completely flat. Very weird but interesting to see a baseplate not on the ground but in the middle in an official lego set
The new one really does look great but I wish the top and bottom were sold separately so you could just buy the bank to connect to diagon alley. It would be a lot easier to stomach a ~$200 set as an add on vs a $430 one.
missing: the chandelier…. will need 2 of these sets to make the lobby bigger ;) It looks like lego was thinking about this with the dual character minifig heads

i think we can all agree that the 2002 gringott's set is the best one out of the lot.
Hey, it is pretty epic though 😂
I think its fun. But maybe its more fun for elder kids and adolts. Theire is not much rum to pose figures and play around and all vaults are so smal. It would be cool to se a set with lage space to play around with. With that aside is a gorgeous set.
I was never interested in harry potter sets but somehow you make me feel the opposite
watching him shake that piece brought me trauma XD
Sorry about that 😂
😢 I'm out of big display room for the new set.. but it looks so good
It does take an obnoxious amount of space. I'm still figuring out where to put mine too lol...
I wish it was a modular. Hopefully can turn it into one.
LEGO can be turned into anything - that's the beauty of it!
