We thought we had that vibe with Mayfield...I still remember the 1989 Divisional where we both had a shootout and CLE won. But the Bills were the up-and-coming team and the no-huddle was the future. CLE had a Pyrrhic victory and never returned to the AFC title game after that.
The year he was with the Vikings was one of my favorite years ever as a lifelong Vikings fan he was the perfect QB for that team that year with the right OC just off that year alone I put him right behind Daunte Cullpepper as my favorite Vikings QB of my lifetime.
