Good grief, your table saw table , no Lol, is bigger than my entire kitchen and dining room foot print. ( Jealous, Lol) My son has designed something quite similar for my dining room which leaves a nice clean open feel to the dining room and kitchen. In order to achieve this, I have to totally remove a wall shelf unit from the previous owner. In place of the Open shelving, I will make a wall sized pantry. Your video is very well lit, good audio, good material. My smaller dining room will become my temporary workshop. I really liked the storage inside the seats. This is A huge benefit .. my current dining room table will become the seat tops. You have done a remarkable job here. Not only have I learned a few things with pin nailing , I can get a good sense how my own table and seats will look when completed. Well Done ,,

Great Video nice details... One thing i'd like to note is your hand cuts with the skill saw are crooked.. I use a straight edge rail to make sure you dont get back wobble from the skill saw wanting to rock away from you. Also look into cabinet hinges recessed because the cushion is now gonna indent where the hinges are and create a bump in the seat. I like the way you placed your hinges but putting them inside would be a cleaner look. Keep up the good work everyday is a new lesson... Take Care!

Nice. The only improvement I would do is to add flat/hidden hinges (their padding could be stappled to a plank, and the plank on the hindges would be problematic)

I’m currently trying to build this as we speak. The problem I’m having with it right now is your video doesn’t exactly match the visual plans. The visual plans make no mention of the cutouts for the storage nor the supports you have inside the frame for these cutouts. The visual plans also appear to have 13” horizontal braces but make no mention of the vertical supports in the middle of the frame that you added when putting on the plywood.
The benches came out great! But the stain they used looks pretty bad /: The trim just blends in so it looks pretty bland. I think they should paint the trim white to add more contrast.

what Ryobi tool nailer you use, what do you think of it? also for this build i whould of change the base the be a bit smaller for the bench so you dont hit it so easy with the heels when you sit
Very nice. I made some raised garden boxes for my wife. I'd like to do the trim like you did but I think I need thicker wood. My boxes are about 24 inches tall.(2x12 Douglas fir) any thoughts on the best wood and size to do the framing? I'm not sure and don't want to waste money on the wrong wood... :/
Pretty nice and great job. Only thing I saw was the stain looked kinda shitty. A nice java or deep honey with some a couple coats of poly would of really made that boy shine. Excellent job tho

I just completed making this during Quarantine. I didn't add the storage access. I did add a hvac vent and a AC outlet as the bench covered both.

On the support column , 46 degree table saw rips for tighter miter edge, packaging tape seems to be best option.
