Hi my first comment on you tube ever I love your artwork and art also your work is awesome if only I and a lot of people could join you in creating art where there was nothing as you have done God bless you for using your hands and mind to create something beautiful!! I will try and do the same now and as time keeps rolling when I'm able in a nutshell!! God bless you and family I will endeavor to follow in your footsteps it's the video stone coat counter tops that got me interested it's art and I will be able today and when I will be able to do it. I am positive about it!! God work I call your work simplicity in art is worth a million words!!!
Kelly Harms I do too. Not to offend anyone, but my daughter says “ Mom, you pour on the color like a drag queen getting putting on make up for a Ru Paul competition.” I love the negative space , but it alludes me.
🙌🏼🙌🏼 Dobyou think it’s possible to replicate design on actual countertops ? Also quick question what’s the name of the that tool you are using to move around the epoxy
I love the effect you got with the heat gun, so delicate. How do you stop the colours from stretching further or bleeding together while it's curing for the next few hours? I have done some resin pours and while they looked good once cured overnight, they were very different from how I had left them?
Thank you Michael! I make sure they are placed on a level surface to cure. Also, it was about 90 degrees in my studio that day. The hotter the temp, the faster resin cures which means less time for movement!
Okay, so I tried the duplicate what you did, colors spread out too much overnight. Did I have too much black down on the canvas possibly? I only have one small corner of negative space.
ROBIN SHANE To much black could certainly be the problem. I had one where I had to tilt some black off because there was too much and it overtook everything else. Give it another shot. I'm sure your first try looks good!
This is beautiful. What are the colors that you used, other than the Black base tint you noted in the header?
Very nice piece of resin art. I'm an devoted stonecoat countertops epoxy user.
I love this.. you inspire me to start doing resin!!!
Very pregnant sea horse! She is lovely!❤️🌻👍

Really love this. I need to learn to be this restrained when I pour - you really let the colors shine!
Kelly Harms That's difficult for me too! I usually pour a big 'ol busy mess of color.

This came out beautiful Debra. Are you using the Art Coat or the Epoxy?
How did you make the first coat the black one which product did you mix
I mixed Stonecoat Countertops Black Base Tint with clear resin.
Amazing 😉 🕯☕️🚬🎥

Debra Smith Art thank you for your support. Truly it’s appreciated.
What Pigments did you use other than the stone coat black?
Tisey Barker Cinnamon Spice from Le'Rez, Totally Teal from The Color Cottage, and Deep Velvet from Hygge Life. I've linked all in the description.
