Tutorial: How to remove door panel 2013 - 2017 Honda Accord coupe

This procedure is only for the 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 Honda Accord Coupe. The procedure for the sedan is slightly different.
For the sedan model. there will be 2 screws behind the door handle... next you have to pry up the power window switch and behind it will be another screw.. after that you release the 9 clips.. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

trying to figure out how to replace the window controls on my coupe. does the panel covering it pop off or do i need to pull the whole door card and take it off from the back
very nice tutorial, I will be doing a tutorial for the sedan version and installation on the courtesy light since many people on DA forum requested so.
Yea, I've been really busy and so I didn't have time to do the courtesy light install. And I want to try and install it different than what was said on the forum. The v6 has them as stock and is all wired along the power window switch. I want to see if I can tap the wires there instead of feeding it through the boot.
DIY: Car Modz oh god, feeding the wire through the door was probably the most difficult part, but is doable. Too bad the Sport version doesn't have the wires there so you had no other choice. I tapped the wires to the constant 12v like the one for the dome light. After I finish with exams I'll be able to make more videos.
Do you know how to remove the chrome trim on the window?

Anyway, is there a trick to getting the insert back into the inside door handle? The horizontal one that is like a dish, not the "plas-luminum" looking bar tyoe of handle. I gotveverything back together but this damn insert will not seat along the top edge. Hope you get this and thank you kindly. Keep putting out awesome videos for 9th gen coupe!!! Thanks man
I have a question i saw that the accord has automatic side mirrors? How do i get those to work? Or is that an extra Trim package i have to buy? I Drive The V6Coupe.
I do not have automatic side mirror.. I have not heard of this option on any trim... Are you in the USA?

Great video DIYCARMODS....Question, how do you remove the silver/gray long door handle on the door trim (Part: 83503-T3L-A01ZE) once you take off the panel? I didn't take the door apart til my part comes.
It's held on by screws on the back.
The power window trim can that be removed by a trim removal tool? or is it embedded in in the door panel
+John C Not on the coupe. On the sedan you can but the coupe you can not.

Love your videos! Very helpful! Can you show how to remove the active noise cancellation (ANC) on Honda Accord 2014 Sports? I have subwoofer installed and every time I start the car, the subwoofer has massive feedback. I research around the internet and people were saying to remove the ANC. Thanks in advance!

You didn’t say anything about the door light plug in the bottom. Can I access it just by pulling out the bottom clips?
At 3:33 and the silver trim of the curvy door handle. is it possible to detach that from the door, without removing the entire door? I want to cover it with some vinyl, because there's a minor scratch that is bugging me.
EJosesA87 I'm not sure if I understand you correctly.. But the silver door handle piece that looks like a number 7 is held on by screws on the back of the door panel. The chrome door handle release.. the handle you pull to get in and out of the car.. same deal.. held on by clip on the back. Now the trim behind the chrome piece is also held on the same clip as the chrome handle so the answer is No.
DIY: Car Modz I was referring the the #7 shaped piece. Thanks for replying. Looks like I'll have to remove the entire panel to wrap those pieces. Not looking forward to it haha. But your video definitely helps. Thanks again!

+Neighbor 818 This is for coupe only. The sedan has different access points to the screws.
Do you kno the size of your speakers ? Front and rear?
Both the front and rear are 6.5. However, you either have to purchase "shallow" design and or use 1/4" adapters. Some will require you to enlarge the factory speaker holes with a dremel.

Hi, great videos! I have a 2014 Accord Ex-L...The divers side power window switch for the passenger side window doesn't work...any ideas on how to fix this? The drivers side power window button works fine though, I just can't open the passenger window from the driver power window button. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The power window control unit on the passenger side needs to be reset.
My main power window button for driver side works fine.....You wouldn't happen to know how to reset the passenger side button on drivers side would you?
Thanks man! I figured it out! Found some info online! So basically, I had to go to passenger side power window button, push down on power window button till it gets to bottom, pause for 2 to 3 seconds holding the button down, then pull up on the button to close the window, pausing at the top when it closes for 2-3 seconds . Went to the drivers side passenger power window button and it works. So if someone has a 4 door, you would have do repeat the process for each window! Thanks for the lead "Reset window".

Does anyone have an issue where the drivers side or passenger side window doesn't retract all the way down into the door? Brought mine to the dealer and they took it apart and found no issues. After looking at 4 other Accord coupes that were new on the lot they found the same issue occurring in all.
I'll check it out on the 2013 Accord today.
