Honestly, Conan is one of the few talk show host able to do this. Everyone else relies too heavily on games and gimmicks to make their shows "interesting." They are not as good interviewers or conversationalists.
Conan, frankly these honest shows during this time are the best shows ever. Much better than scripted content. Showing that even the rich can be normalized is much more interesting

I’ve known some very intellectual smart people and I think that’s who you’re talking about and they were smart on an intellectual level but not with real life issues. Oh man, these informal interviews are soo good. I love it. I mean the video quality isn't good, for obvious reasons, but the quality of the interviews though? They shoot through the roof. Everyone is more relaxed, they don't feel like they half to pander to an existing audience, and it feels more natural, so they would say more than they usually would on an actual set with a real audience.
i didn't know he is that humorous and kind (with the charity work and not taking two paper rolls) and cool! Seems like a great guy :D Also I laughed so hard throughout the whole interview because of the connection problem and also Jesse's stories. This is so comedic and awesome, just 10 times better than other hosts' stay at home interviews
Vivarium is wild. I really enjoyed it. Both Jesse and Imogen gave great performances, and the story is so bizarrely simple and relatable in a lot of ways. Recommended if you enjoy The Twilight Zone, that sorta thing.
30 Minutes or less was also very good! Not that this is speaking towards his personality or character in real life, but I love his movies because he plays such a great sarcastic know-it-all and it’s very entertaining. Jesse, you are wonderful.
Funnily yesterday I was revisiting zombieland 2's trailer and was wondering where is this guy now. Saw recommendations of his interviews with conan just to find out it was either 4 years or 15 years ago. Welp, now I guess Conan reads my mind. Great interview!
I loved this episode. It helped feel together suffering all that is going on with a celebrity. Not that I want them to suffer like the rest of us. But it helps bring reality to us.
Working from home these past few weeks has made me realise that the only webcam I have for my desktop pc is an old piece of garbage from 2002 that hasn't had a driver update since windows xp.
I know, I just use my laptop instead. Still, I have this incredibly beefy machine in my office and yet I never thought of buying a new usb webcam for it. My laptop is not nearly as user friendly for the meetings I have to take part in.
have them record their audio on audacity and send it to your editors afterwards so at least we get good audio! it wasn't too terrible but just a suggestion to keep in mind.
He was my customer today and I didn't know him. I just never barely ever turn TV on. My coworkers told me who he was. since I got home from work of course I'm going to Google and find out who my customer is that everybody's so excited about. I think it's great that he's antisocial media and I don't blame him. nothing wrong with wanting to have a private life. 😉 I literally had to crawl through belongings. I didn't get to see him but I'm sure he was running around the business somewhere unless his Beautiful lady took care of things for him. I didn't ask. it happened to be an accident that I even ran into her and his little boy. very nice lady!!! I received a very thoughtful gift for the work I did. very very big thank you!!! The guy likes his life private so I'm not even going to get into what I was fixing or what he owns because it's none ya business. My son was pretty stoked to find out what movies he was in. I'll have to turn the TV on and Watch some of his movies. I kind of feel like a butt hole not knowing him. LOL I am just an oddball and I love it😉 The Lord must've whispered in his ear "Jesse go see this Business. This lady won't yak your business." I just hope the rest of my coworkers respect that too. still think it's pretty cool though.
It will def be a movie that will make, at least me, feel connected. BECAUSE, the promotion was not the top conversation, the interview is taking place while we are all trying to deal and he is sharing the very real parts of his struggle It wasn't dressed up. The audio and video are on par with what is really happening. I really do want to see it, and when I do, I'll remember this interview Forever
