If you want a duet between V and Jimin listen to "Friends"!! In this song they talk about their friendship and it's beautiful 💜 and the man who put the guys together was Bang Si-hyuk, this man is a genius
"Soop" is Korean for "Forest" so BTS In The Soop is basically them chilling and relaxing away from the city and from the flashing lights of the stage 💜
Armies mostly respect their privacy. For example, V thanked armies for ignoring him and respecting his privacy while he vacationed in Hawaii a few weeks ago. J Hope was also in Hawaii, RM toured many states in the US visiting museums, Suga too, visiting games etc and fans understand that they deserve to enjoy their time. That's one of the great things about Army and BTS - mutual respect 💜💜💜
Fun fact: RM is a certified genius, he has an 148 IQ and was among the 1% better graded on South Korea. The way he thinks and proccess information is amazing. Something that I really admire about him is how his intelligence is used in music, in BTS's lyrics, in their interviews, etc. I don't know why these members introductions usually don't mention this.
JUNGKOOK, is one of the most complete idols in the industry. He is known as the triple threat as he can sing, rap, and dance. It is the Idol that you can make to sing acapella in any language (English, French, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and obviously his own language) His pronunciation in English is so precise and clear that it is surprising because he seems to be a native of the language and it is after RM who has advanced the most in the English language. And by the way, everyone speaks Japanese, not just RM. And indeed the guy is known for being able to do everything he is an AS, in everything he undertakes. But above all he is very humble and reserved. He is not known for bragging and were it not for his hyungs who always praise him, little would be known. He is a daredevil and loves extreme sports and adrenaline. And it is very true, they are all extremely talented and unlike other groups they love each other very much and have a bond forged by coexistence during all these years of career that has made them a family and the respect and admiration of each other is real when they are separated they miss each other. 🤗💜😊🙋 ☃️🎅⛄🤶🎆🎇🎉🎁🎀🎄🎊❄️
Bang Shi Hyuk such a genius to put them together. He really believe in them since day 1. From their company almost went bankrupt, BTS go through all the challenges, racism, insulting, slandering from others. The price of their passion & hardworking is their company become huge as today. I love to say they become from Zero to Hero, from nothing to somebody. Documentary 'Rise of Bangtan' will give you the answer. Love your reaction & channel :)
Also love what I read, when discovering RM he said he felt he needed to support and do whatever required to support his talent and that's why he gives them so much artistic license
They spoke at UN assembly 3 times. Last year online because of covid. They have partnered with UNICEF to campaign against violence on children. Watch their Permission to Dance with them dancing in the General Assembly and the grounds.😊
V and Jimin have a duet called “Friends” ! It’s a really special song about their friendship. One that I think you would really like is a song called “Fly to My Room” where it’s only Jimin, V, Suga, and Jhope. All the singing parts are just Jimin and V and it’s one of my favorite songs.
Nikita that was the MMA 2019, yes it was LEGENDARY. Also 26:58 for their Iconic 2018 MMA IDOL, J-hope, Jimin & JK did a wonderful job showcasing the different Korean cultures.
Yes the "particular guy that put them together" is Bang shi hyuk, aka Hitman bang aka Bang PD. He is their boss and they are actually close now to the point that they treat each other like friends. I think he recently gave up his position as the CEO and gave it to another man but Bang PD is forever our boss 💜
@And Sprite, he didn’t give it up, Bang Shi-Hyuk decided to step down and concentrate on his producing and making music which is his first job that he had in the beginning before he even was the CEO of big hit entertainment/HYBE labels now. He is friends with JYP from JYP entertainment and they did some collaborations on a few projects pre-BTS. And just because he stepped down from being the CEO doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have any control over the company anymore he is the largest shareholder and he is the chairman on the board of HYBE labels. So initially he still makes decisions behind the scene if it’s ever comes to where they need a third-party to help making decisions he definitely is the go to guy still he’s just not the CEO.💜
@@laurahilliker5336 Oh yeah, I might have used "give up" in the wrong way lol, I just wanted to say that he gave the position as the CEO to someone else 😂 But I know he didn't "give up" the company and he certainly didn't abandon his boys 💜
@@laurahilliker5336 also hybe is major now. Not that bang pd lacks in some way, but ceo has more day to day responsibilities and its better to delegate them to someone else.
He is currently not the CEO of HYBE, but he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors; but as I understand it he decided to return to his focus on music and accompany the boys being the CEO of Big Hit Music
Jimin and V's song "Friends" is a good choice. I love how they sing about their friendship and how they are soulmates. I want to recommend another song for you to react to is BTS's cover of "I'll be missing you" (Puff Daddy, Faith Evans & Sting) at BBC Radio 1. It has everything you guys like, it has a live band, rapping by RM, singing/harmonizing by V and Jimin, singing/harmonizing by Jungkook and Jin, followed by rap from Suga and Jhope, then it reaches the climax with all 7 members singing together. They did an amazing job of covering that song and made it their own by having Suga and Jhope rap in Korean, they rap about missing Army during this pandemic.
Pls continue to do more documentaries! You will learn so much more. Their history, which is A WILD RIDE, and their hardships(separate vid), which breaks my heart every time I see it . 💜💜
So, V and Jimin have a collab song called "Friends" if you guys wanted to listen to that!! It really depicts and captures the contrast in their two voices. As for the boys, the former CEO of Bighit, Bang Si-hyuk, was the one to put them all together as a group. He picked them individually out of all the trainees. Additionally, even off camera, the boys get along so very well. Growing up together, they were together much longer than they have been even with their own families. They treat each other as more than group members, as brothers. In the beginning, they argued a lot, but over time they settled their differences and became closer than ever 😊
Yaaay X Celeste! Aside from hers, the best fan made documentary series is The Rise of Bangtan. So you better understand their history and context behind their lyrics, challenges, aside from the successes. It’s why we’re in this for the long haul. Army protects BTS 💜
BTS are family, more like siblings to eachother. The bond that the 7 share with eachother is unbelievably beautiful & Wholesome. All the 7 members lived together under one roof for over 10 years now. They literally grew up together & took care of eachother. Their affection for one another is obvious. It's their deep friendship, unbelievable brotherhood and Versatile music that sets them apart from others & makes them so special & unique. The genuine love, care and admiration that they have for eachother and the way they uplift and encourage eachother for every little thing with absolute zero ego is what you can never ever find in any other boybands (especially typical western boybands).
So glad you guys finally started watching their documentaries. I hope the next one will be “The most beautiful life goes on “ by The Asian Theory. Please react to the updated one 2021. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I am enjoying every minute of it. Don’t even worry how long these videos are. We Armies love long reactions 💜💜💜
They can travel freely without being mobbed mainly due to Army's dedication to look after BTS and their desire to have their privacy. Their Bon Voyage NZ episode saw the NZ Army sending out a public statement asking for their fans to respect their privacy to allow the boys to enjoy their visit and the fans were happy to oblige. I have never seen such respect and dedication from any other fan base like it. Their overseas Army take the boys' request for privacy seriously. That's also why BTS appreciate Army the way they do.
Solo songs of the members that you haven't watched yet : Jin ( epiphany live .Awake . Abyss . Moon . Yours ) Jungkook ( my time live . Euphoria live . begin . Still with you . Falling cover ) V ( singularity MV + stage mix . Stigma live . Snow flower . Sweet night . 4 o'clock . Hug me cover ft j-hope . Christmas tree ) Jimin ( serendipity stage mix . Filter live . promise . Lie . Christmas love ) RM ( trivia love stage mix . Joke . Intro persona MV ) Suga ( daechwita Live . shadow MV . give it to me . Seesaw . People . What do you think . Bang Shi Hyuk (Hitman Bang/ Bang PD) is the man who put them together. He is the founder of Big Hit. He intended to put together a hip hop group. BUT realized that the members needed to have artistic freedom. This is why they have been able to evolve over time. They were given the freedom to write songs that expressed what the members were living through at that moment. Which is why they started out with school boy type music and now they have much more mature content. Asian Theory explains it really well in their video The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Goes On.
They're not like typical celebs that we're used to seeing. BTS members are loved so much from countless people all around the world because they're not only talented but vey humble, funny, and so genuine. Also they're our role models showing and teaching us how to overcome obstacles, prejudice and hardships we face in life.
Instead of ego they really encourage, support and appraise each other. Whenever they do solo work, they show up on the shooting location to cheer and boost energy. They even monitor screen when each member performs.
8:23 yess ya'll need to watch some Run BTS episodes 😂 apart from being super talented.. they're pretty much comedians as well lol also 28:25 they actually do have a song together lol, it's called "Friends" BTS usually do this in some albums, where they have sub-unit songs, eg: Friends (Jimin and V) Stay (Jin, Jungkook and RM) Fly to My Room (Jimin, V, Suga and J Hope) Jamais Vu (Jin, Jungkook and J Hope) Respect (RM and Suga)
@@GetSidewaysReacts BTS Run started out so low budget since they were near bankruptcy and no South Korean entertainment companies wanted them on their shows. BTS is truely a good guys win at the end come up!
@@GetSidewaysReacts You're gonna love it. It's so much fun. I don't know if you can put them on TH-cam. You might have to edit/modify them. Again, not sure if you can or can't put them on TH-cam.
I was introduced to BTS by their music and I loved it, but I fell in love with BTS by watching Run BTS, In the Soop, and other videos where we see who they are as human beings. They are the perfect example of how people should treat each other. In groups, you may find a few members that are kind, compassionate, and loving, but in BTS all 7 members are not only talented but just genuinely good people. They are my favorite human beings on the planet.
If you guys wanna see how the boys are together, in their most natural, just hanging out with each other, I would suggest to watch In The Soop Season1 in Weverse. They're closer to a family of 7 than a typical boy group with egos at play.
@@noms341 Yeah I completely agree. I would never recommend In The Soop to people who aren't already full on ARMYs. Run!BTS and Bon Voyage Seasons 2 and 3 are much better starting places.
i like the older version of this video better, it had more of their personalities i think. i wish there was a video that struck the perfect balance, i like this one because it's updated and has their achievements and newer songs and stuff. just lacking the emotion and elements of their personality. :(
I agree, they're missing the personalities. I wished they'd watch Suga and Spice's Who is BTS The Seven Members of Bangtan too because it definitely shows more of that personalities. People keep saying it's outdated but that's ridiculous. It's like watching an old music video, of course time has passed and things have changed... I think TH-camrs are smart enough to figure that out. Plus you don't have to just watch one. They should be watching different ones because no matter which one they watch it's still the opinion of that particular creator.
no, tbh im pretty sure ppl should know more about them as musicians, their versatility and achievements rather than if they like to cook or something like that
@@charityhooper2377 as an army i can tell u that, that vid not only is outdated but is also kinda useless, they talk more abt things that don't really matter (for example, that jin was known as the car door guy or sum like that) instead of what really matters, witch is them as musicians and the vid they reacted to is perfect for that, showing their abilities as producers, dancers and their achievements
I think his lyrics are more on mental reflection (if they is a thing like that) cuz he talks a lot about the world, the people and his anger or how he plans on overcoming his challenges. Some of the popular songs by him does talk about his mental struggles but I think they can also be questions the society way of breaking people (my opinion)
@@saraholadiran7005 yeah i totally agree i didn't want a long comment aha, i just thought it was worth mentioning because we Saw him on his journey through his songs and his lyrics on mental health really broke a boundary, i remember when i first Heard The last I thought they really were different from kpop idols
Their close bond with each other is one of the many reasons why they have so many fans. Their relationship is made out of pure respect, trust, admiration and support (when you're starting to watch Run BTS or their other shows, you'll see a lot of that). If you look up "Team" in the dictionary, there should be a picture of BTS. There was actually an interview released just last week were they talk about this and it's said that they don't sacrifice results for maintaining a good relationship, but also don't sacrifice relationships for the sake of achieving a goal. After living and working together for about 10 years their egos really don't get in the way, or if they do, they at least they know how to solve it. I really wish for everyone to have friends like this in their lives 💜
Since the beginning. BTS believed that every member is important when one member is missing or not with them, they feel incomplete and always absentmindedly look or call for that member… forgetting his absence. BTS genuinely love and care for each other and we ARMYS could see and feel that, that’s one of the hundreds of reasons why we are this loyal, solid, united, protective, supportive to them. ARMYs loves BTS unconditionally. BTS is the best! There’s nothing like BTS!
In 2018, Bang Shi-hyuk (CEO of Big Hit Entertainment at the time) gave a lecture and was asked about how BTS cope with conflict in the group, and how he helps resolve it. This is what he said. He noted that they'd never expected BTS to have the synergy that they do, stating: "Whenever I look at BTS, I feel proud but also desperate at the same time. When we teamed these 7 members up before debut, we didn’t know that they’d have this kind of synergy. We don’t know how we did it, so we don’t know if we can team up another team well in the future again. I’m just laying down my assumption since I’m not confident in my answer." He went on to say that the key to BTS' resolving arguments has been teaching them that it's okay to argue. He said: "Our company’s culture is “there’s no individual without the team”. This is no totalitarianism though. We promised to have all communication as a team. We have self-learning classes about how to lead a team, from about one year before debut. Lastly, we encourage them not to be afraid of fighting. “Don’t be afraid of fighting. Fight if you’re angry. Even fist fights are fine. It’s okay to fight.” We teach them that fearing fights only makes conflicts grow bigger. But they need to resolve the conflicts all 7 together. Even if only 2 fight, all 7 must resolve it together. What moves me is how even when they fight about impossibly embarrassing things, all 7 members run to me and tell me what they fought about. I think they must have been so embarrassed telling the other 5 about the incident too. But even when they fight about something so embarrassing to talk about, they run to me and tell me what they fought about and how they resolved it. I think these kinds of things strengthen this team’s chemistry and synergy." As RM would say, teamwork makes the dream work!
💜💜💜💜I feel like BTS were meant to be together and Bang Si-hyuk just recognized fate when he saw it. They each, outside of their part in BTS, have phenomenal talents...just as hobbies. They are truly amazing people and I'm just grateful to know of their existence. They've also been through A LOT that was not mentioned in this video. And for them to come through it as the kind, caring, respectful, and humble men that they are is incredible. Thank you for taking the time to get to know our boys. They deserve all the love. 💜💜💜💜
I really enjoy how you react. For me, The Rise of Bangtan is the one because it's them telling their story and it tends to be very equally spread between each member using the footage available right from pre debut. (the first episode gives context re K-pop and shows the differences between the big 3 labels in particular and how it differed for BTS) You can watch it all on here and they have bonus and deleted scenes which are well worth watching too. They are long-ish episodes (30 mins plus 10 mins each for the extras) but we'll watch always.
honestly though, not a fan The Rise of Bangtan series. It’s too detail and too long of a series, it gets too much for general public but it’s good for hardcore fans 😌 just my opinion. For these gentlemen, it’s better if they know the summary of it.
They've spoken at the UN 3 times now, once in person in 2018 for their Love Yourself campaign with Unicef, by video in 2020 (pandemic), and they were appointed special presidential envoys and given diplomatic passports by the president of South Korea to speak and perform in person at the UN this past summer in 2021
Having been introduced to BTS and their music by my daughter and falling in love with their music, after 5 years, I am in love and adore them as people. Watching Run, In the Soop, Bon Voyage, etc. will show them as people and there isn't a more kind, hardworking, principled group of young men that you will find. They have remained humble, honest in both their triumphs and dark times, and that is why I will always support them. Their message of loving yourself came to me, even as a 52 year old woman, at a time when I needed to hear it the most and for that I will forever be grateful. I am not at all ashamed to admit how they have inspired me and brought me so much joy. I look forward to you learning about them outside of their music and being amazed by how down to earth they are.
Me too. I am 62 years old and my family knows that I am crazy about these boys so I got their mugs, figurines, BT21 bedroom slippers and posters as my Christmas gifts🤣🤣🤣. They brighten my day everyday!!!
BTS members are truly wise beyond their years. They may be half my age, but I have a lot to learn from them. It's so cool that Army is so diverse. As a Korean-American adoptee, I would have never imagined seven boys from South Korea would have experienced so much love and support from around the world. It makes me so happy.
They had admitted that they had so many arguments since they were living together. As time changed, they tried to make up together and talked together. Now they become a family. They understand each other so well, more than own family. So that is another point of view that I have enjoyed their relationship.
There were over 30 trainees, but the members had a say in the decision. BangPD was looking for a group that had a story to tell, not just wanted fame. They are hip-hop at heart because they each stay true to what they want to say. Having artistic freedom is not some thing K-pop encourages. But from the beginning BTS was something special
Taehyung/V is such a great artist he never fails to amazes me : a baritone legend , a dancer , an actor , a producer , a songwriter , a composer , a photographer , a model , a director ( for music videos and visuals ) ...etc , he's so smart and has his own style in everything wether if it's singing or dancing or even his fashion sense is different . He became from the company's hidden weapon to one of the most respected and idolized idols in the history of kpop and the visual representative of the industry . I'm so proud of him 💜
We can't forget their American Hustle life moment, they came to america at the very beginning to learn more about hip hop and got to meet some old school hip hop legends. but Friends is a beautiful song with both V and Jimin's vocals but you feel it with a true friend and just makes your heart soar.
Your reasoning as to why it took so long to get to this video was too cute. I totally feel you. as a reactor your audience expects to be there for all your firsts so you don't get to just go on a binge spree like most of us did! Thank you for watching this!
The pronunciation of “maknae” is more like “mang-neigh” (with the “a” like in “father” not like in “sang”) - in Korean, when the “k/g” sound comes up against an “n” sound, it blends together to make more of a “ng” sound. You’ll hear a lot of international fans mispronounce it “mock-neigh” or “mack-neigh”, but it’s “mahng-neigh.”
Their solo song : RM - Mono Suga - Agustd / Dechwita J-hope - day dream/chicken noodle soup Jin - Ephipany / moon Jimin - Promise / serendepity V - Singularity / winter bear Jungkook - Euphoria And many more
Kpop is known for having large groups. The most commonly seen are soloists, 4 member groups, 5, 7, 9 and 11 members. The largest is NCT with 23 members. Also “in the soop” means “in the forest” during covid they couldn’t go on vacation to other countries “bon voyage” so instead they went to the korean forests
@@GetSidewaysReacts I recommend snippets only if you plan to do reaction videos. Please know Run BTS alone is now up to 155 episodes, 30 minutes each and all Korean. There are plenty of great YT creators out there who has taken the best parts of Run BTS that you can react to. Also, I think Debbie meant to say VLive, not WeVerse if you want to see the original full episodes. Run BTS is on going, but they are taking a break from in. Both In the Soop videos and Bon Voyage are also multiple episodes/videos.
BangPD was a successful producer. He had been with another kpop company and sort of famously left it while it had been touring one of their groups in the US (I personally believe that’s why he HESITATED jumping into the US market. Details are that there was big US demand but he didn’t just go along with everything. He managed to protect BTS’ autonomy which means sacrifices at the beginning with subpar PR agents and lazy distributors but finally those contracts are over 😅) BangPD was famous for being a strict talent judge on singing shows. In an interview he said it was bc he wanted the singers to have a passion for music and not celebrity. Idols usually take the idol singer to actor/model path. It’s like Disney stars. He insisted idols could be real music artists and was laughed at (there’s a tv interview where he was snickered at). But he stuck to his ideals and shaped a company that has the best work terms I’ve seen of any company that size. From paid time off to horizontal leader structure. It’s premise is ideal. BTS were ‘trained’ in artist development. This label truly was a diamond in the rough while other labels are proven to be just the worst at taking advantage of their idols and having horrible work practices. So we have this dichotomy of the US media exposing the Korean music idol machine but using BTS’ pictures bc they are the most successful. It’s enraging to the fandom. It’s like fight high tide. The fandom is why they have their success and we pulled a small broke label every step of the way. The label concentrated on the highest production and artistic merit they could manage and we took care of the demand across the globe. It wasn’t easy especially when US radio seems to have deals with much less in demand kpop label/groups and will play their songs repeatedly over BTS songs (my radio station is one of them and it really is discouraging)
You guys have BEARLEY scratched the surface when it comes to BTS. Someone once said they are the avengers of the korean music industry- and when at look at each individual member, and the range of talent in the group, it makes soo much sense 😆 If you want to hear Taehyung and Jimin on a song together, check out Friends- they have such an awesome friendship which is shown to us in the song. Looking forward to your very long, but rewarding journey with BTS
It was one guy named Bang Shi-Hyuk aka BangPD who put them together. Big Hit Entertainment was as tiny and poor as it got. It was basically a hole in the wall office with a tiny basement space for dancepractice. Hence, noone took them seriously.
ive never clicked on a video so quickly LOL i love how you're finally getting to this! i hope you check out more of their amazing music (for example, Tomorrow, Paradise, Love Maze, 134340, Butterfly, Epilogue: Young Forever, etc.. honestly there's so much!) and also if you get the chance, please start the "Rise of Bangtan" series! it is absolutely AMAZING.
Mr. Sihyuk Bang is the man behind BTS. He actually decided to step down as CEO of Hybe so that he could concentrate on being a producer. He loves music as much as the boys and you can tell how much the boys also love him like family. Much respect to him.
The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: The Story of BTS (2021 updated) by the Asian Theory is another source of information on how they were put together and their success story.
You want a duet between V and Jimin? They have it 😁 the song is called "Friends" and it's amazing. Showing their friendship cause they went to same highschool. Also for Jimin's live performance in white outfit, check out MMA 2019. They literally performed for 39 mins on stage. Beyond amazing. They made the award show as their mini concert 😁
Still going to recommend you - Mistletoe cover by Jimin & Jungkook - Christmas Tree by V - Christmas Live by Jimin You can make a reaction with all these in just one vid. Armys will watch even if it will take 30M or so
Jimin and V actually have a song! It’s called Friends and is literally the cutest song. They’ve been best friends for the longest time and the song really represents them well 😭
The relationship between the members is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They are the bestest of friends, but also closer than family. where u said about how they stay together for so long, it’s actually so funny to me becuz the world may end, but the members will never drift apart. It is one of the many reasons they r the biggest artist now. They know each other inside and out, understand each other and communicate so well that no problems arise, and when it does, they are able to handle it so well.
@@DrAmber2004 more common in Japan which is where jk was shooting jm at the time. The Japanese army are generally polite and avoid bts the moment they see them.
Fun fact about K-pop. Is the fact that the members of the bands live together as long as the group has not disbanded. Even if they own separate places. It is what makes them connect in that fashion. Not including the fact relationships are huge to the Asian culture.
One of the main reasons egos don't get in the way, is because they work together as a Team. No one is overlooked or overridden. They each have an equal say in everything that affects the group. If there is conflict, they work it out as a team. I've never witnessed anything like this before. If you watch their documentaries, Burn The Stage (available on YT premium), Bring The Soul, and Break The Silence (both available on Weverse app), you will see behind the scenes what goes on with them, how they work, and how they connect with each other. With BTS, what you see onscreen, is genuine, it's not for show, and it's not because the cameras are rolling. This is why we Love them so much, and why we want to protect them. Thank you for taking the time to get to know these 7 talented Boys. I'm truly enjoying your reactions. 💜
'FRIENDS' is a duet song by Jimin & V. It's a sweet song about their friedship. And it also featured in Marvel's The Eternals. Love your reactions by the way. Borahae💜💜💜
You’ll love Run BTS. They have so much fun together, playing different games/competitions - cooking, crafts, Korean history. Then you can move on to Bon Voyage, In the Soop - watching them travel together is absolutely a hoot!
Finally the video we've all been looking forward to seeing! When you guys feel comfortable, start looking into the BU (Bangtan Universe). From a certain era, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life (HYYM), they started to create in their own universe within music videos. It's extremely interesting. There's a compilation that explains exactly the chronological order of the MV's and the separate notes, but it would be nice if you guys watched the clips alone too. I LOVE your videos! Kisses from Brazil. 🇧🇷💜

Im so glad to see that you guys are enjoying the bts journey!! I feel the need to let you know that RM doesn't stay for Rap Monster anymore though! In 2017 Namjoon shortened it to RM which now stays for Real Me 🥰🥰🥰 Also, since you guys were curious about it too: "D boy" (from agust d) is a reference to the fact that Yoongi (aka SUGA) is from the city of Daegu! Agust D is in fact: SUGA backwards + DT backwards (so Daegu town). He references to his roots a lot 💜💜
The largest K-Pop group is NCT; they have 23 members. Also, Bang Shi Hyuk (Hitman Bang), the former CEO of Big Hit Ent/Hybe Ent, is the man with the vision, who assembled BTS.
8:00 Non-music stuff? i am manifesting that you will react to 'Run BTS', Bon Voyage 1 to 4 and 'In The Soop 1 to 2' soon! hehe ;) (just realized MCA said he will do Run BTS toward the end of the video. 32:00 You're referring to Bang Sih-Hyuk also known as Hitman Bang. He did assemble the group - but the boys still need to prove their stuff by helping to co-produce their music, which, at that time wasn't something done by a typical Idol group. There are other fan-made documentaries that point out his role in integrating the boys and making sure they, get along well. I recommend the one done by 'The Asian Theory'. They even covered how Bang PD arrived at the idea of 'BTS', from a quick history run-through of hip-hop from the early 2000s. Like this video, you can expect a long one, with an excellent narrator, so you don't have to read through the video! ;) - Not saying anything about Ida S - she's done more than I can say for myself! haha, she has a lot of video content too. :) A duet between V & Jimin can be seen in the song 'Friends' which incidentally was also featured in this year's movie release, 'Shang-Chi'.
More than their good music, their personalities are something more admirable. They are genuinely good people. Their docu series, reality shows, game shows and behind the scenes show how authentic they are. They don’t only show the good sides but even their silly sides.
The person you're talking about is Bang Si-Hyuk. He's the the main guy to pick them and of course there's a group executive decision but the main guy is Bang PD :)
Jimin and V were both born in the same year and are very close. They've made a song called 'Friends' which talks about their friendship since they first met. It's a really good song, y'all should definitely check it out!
The dance line is a line made of the best dancers in the group that at times do their own performances…but actually J-Hope is the leader of that, too! The video is a duplication of another fans video, that’s more detailed. This one didn’t highlight their personalities, cuz they’re all hilarious!
This video is good cuz it highlights their very professional side and ability and the ending shows that they can be goofballs too ( clip of runbts, ITS, Bon.V)
@@saraholadiran7005 it’s a duplication…even the description of the members is the same! They didn’t even change the dialog from the other video….the only thing that’s different are the clips and their personality traits!
Currently all members are university graduates and speak Japanese and English. Another fact: Ji lives by eating to help Armys with eating disorders. And BTS today has more than 900 awards
They don't let ego get in the way, and all support each other-together and in solo projects. It's one reason they are still together, besides the shared struggles & goals. Bang PD's BigHit was a tiny, scrappy company, and he found a group of boys who he believed in enough to basically throw it all into them and allow them to make the music they wanted. And through a lot of shit, they, with their ever-growing loyal ARMY, battled and cried and raged and made MUSIC. Several times members contemplated leaving, or they talked of disbanding, but they persevered. And have stayed true to themselves and fans in the process; never losing their humbleness, their down-to-earth realness, even sharing themselves when dorky/silly/tired/emotional. Working so hard on Run! during the pandemic (well, working hard on everything, always!) so ARMYs could stay connected, so nice.

There is a Vlive from J-Hope from 2021 where he is chilling and freestyle dancing in the dance studio. He is really a great dancer. and it is pure joy to watch him freestyle dance The song Jin sang in the start of his part is Epiphany. You really should react to it as it is a beautiful and just lovely song.
Oh BTW the guy who put them together is Bang Si-hyuk. He has since put together 2 other groups TXT and Enhypen. These groups are also killing it right now. His company Hybe Entertainment (Bighit Entertainment) has since acquired multiple other companies including Ithaca Holdings, the company of Scooter Braun, which manages Justin Bieber, Arianna Grande, J Balvin, etc. Truly a visionary.
The amount of content BTS has can be overwhelming at first, it'll last you a lifetime. From music, to reality tv, live streams, social media, documentaries, behind the scenes, and more its so wonderful. BTS are the perfect example of fandom to celebrity relationship. They are extremely humble and selfless. In times they are hurt or stressed they make sure we are ok before themselves and that speaks alot. Army has great respect for their personal space and boundaries, we love them to the moon and back. Not only is BTS interesting to dive into but I have been apart of many fandoms and Army is the most organized, functioning, supportive fanbase I have EVER been apart of. I'm so happy to see you guys go down this journey of becoming another supporter of BTS and joining the family. Can't wait for that Daechwita cover!
If you want to know the band better, I highly recommend watching the TH-cam series The Rise of Bangtan. It’s a VERY well-done fan-made documentary that pieces together different media sources from their debut to now. It’s very insightful and will give you a better understanding of how far they’ve come and all of the obstacles they have overcome. Thanks for all the great reactions. Watching your videos is like rediscovering BTS all over again.
20:10 ARMY has this rule that we follow to make sure they don't feel uncomfortable when they are out during their personal time. If we see them in public we pretend we don't know them and you shouldn't take pics of them, expose their location or follow them around.
Hey guys! I would highly recommend a fan made series titled "Rise of Bangtan", I believe there are like 10ish episodes, but they are very very indepth and cover from the actual tryouts and behind the scenes until today. So many behind the scenes and you really get tons of information about them and their journey, first hand💜💜💜
I feel like they didn't show this in that video enough, but Jimin is also really known for his high notes. You should react to Let Me Know to see his most iconic one! :) Also, Jimin and V have a song together called "Friends". It's such a great song and shows their friendship so well!
The one who gathered them was Bang PD, then CEO and main producer for BigHit Entertainment back then. Bang PD is a well known producer in South Korea who started his own agency in 2005. He started assembling the group in 2010 and building it around RM, thats also why he is the leader of the group.

JUNGKOOK, is one of the most complete idols in the industry.
He is known as the triple threat as he can sing, rap, and dance.
It is the Idol that you can make to sing acapella in any language (English, French, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and obviously his own language)
His pronunciation in English is so precise and clear that it is surprising because he seems to be a native of the language and it is after RM who has advanced the most in the English language.

They are my favorite human beings on the planet.

the suga and spice channel's ver.
that one’s super outdated tho
Oh it's too Bad but they didn't mention the fact that suga is really big on mental health, a lot of his lyrics reflect that!

RISE OF BANGTAN IS MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE DOCUSERIES
It's long but the context 'chef's kiss'
Genius videos the editing, narration, timeline, and depth. They could literally be on Netflix.
I’m just laying down my assumption since I’m not confident in my answer."
He went on to say that the key to BTS' resolving arguments has been teaching them that it's okay to argue. He said:
"Our company’s culture is “there’s no individual without the team”.
I think these kinds of things strengthen this team’s chemistry and synergy."
As RM would say, teamwork makes the dream work!

As a Korean-American adoptee, I would have never imagined seven boys from South Korea would have experienced so much love and support from around the world. It makes me so happy.
or BTS Crash Course, it gives elaborate explanation on their discography so you can understand the timeline of their music and music career! 💜

Also “in the soop” means “in the forest” during covid they couldn’t go on vacation to other countries “bon voyage” so instead they went to the korean forests
You can see snippets of Run BTS, In the Soop 1 & 2 and the Bon Voyage seasons on TH-cam, but the full series are all available on Weverse
They can actually find the full episodes of Run BTS on TH-cam too
Good because we want to see all the episodes
@@GetSidewaysReacts I recommend snippets only if you plan to do reaction videos. Please know Run BTS alone is now up to 155 episodes, 30 minutes each and all Korean. There are plenty of great YT creators out there who has taken the best parts of Run BTS that you can react to. Also, I think Debbie meant to say VLive, not WeVerse if you want to see the original full episodes.
Run BTS is on going, but they are taking a break from in. Both In the Soop videos and Bon Voyage are also multiple episodes/videos.
@@sjm5750 They are all on Weverse also🙂 Run BTS is free content while the other shows are paid content
@@GetSidewaysReacts All Run BTS episodes are in Korean with subtitles available in English and other languages on Vlive.
BangPD was a successful producer. He had been with another kpop company and sort of famously left it while it had been touring one of their groups in the US (I personally believe that’s why he HESITATED jumping into the US market. Details are that there was big US demand but he didn’t just go along with everything. He managed to protect BTS’ autonomy which means sacrifices at the beginning with subpar PR agents and lazy distributors but finally those contracts are over 😅)
BangPD was famous for being a strict talent judge on singing shows.
Someone once said they are the avengers of the korean music industry- and when at look at each individual member, and the range of talent in the group, it makes soo much sense 😆
If you want to hear Taehyung and Jimin on a song together, check out Friends- they have such an awesome friendship which is shown to us in the song.
Hence, noone took them seriously.
ive never clicked on a video so quickly LOL i love how you're finally getting to this!
i hope you check out more of their amazing music (for example, Tomorrow, Paradise, Love Maze, 134340, Butterfly, Epilogue: Young Forever, etc.. honestly there's so much!)
and also if you get the chance, please start the "Rise of Bangtan" series!
it is absolutely AMAZING.
!!! This
I was going to take a nap, crazy tired, ohh they reacht to who are BTS, - don't need sleep 😀
Mr. Sihyuk Bang is the man behind BTS. He actually decided to step down as CEO of Hybe so that he could concentrate on being a producer. He loves music as much as the boys and you can tell how much the boys also love him like family. Much respect to him.
The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: The Story of BTS (2021 updated)
by the Asian Theory is another source of information on how they were put together and their success story.
suga has said multiple times that he has enough songs written that he could release a surprise album whenever he felt like it
You want a duet between V and Jimin? They have it 😁 the song is called "Friends" and it's amazing. Showing their friendship cause they went to same highschool. Also for Jimin's live performance in white outfit, check out MMA 2019. They literally performed for 39 mins on stage. Beyond amazing. They made the award show as their mini concert 😁
“are they the biggest? like most people ?”
*nct manically laughing in the background*
Still going to recommend you
- Mistletoe cover by Jimin & Jungkook
- Christmas Tree by V
- Christmas Live by Jimin
You can make a reaction with all these in just one vid. Armys will watch even if it will take 30M or so
Christmas love by Jimin!!
There was one guy, PD Bang, who is and was the CEO of Bighit.
And yes, Jungkook did paint the pictures himself :)
20:08 we, ARMYs have a strict rule between us that we dont disturb any of the members if we see them in public spaces.
Really?
@@DrAmber2004 more common in Japan which is where jk was shooting jm at the time. The Japanese army are generally polite and avoid bts the moment they see them.
@@Hiddinnie that’s awesome. They deserve to have some sort of life.
Fun fact about K-pop. Is the fact that the members of the bands live together as long as the group has not disbanded. Even if they own separate places. It is what makes them connect in that fashion. Not including the fact relationships are huge to the Asian culture.
Duet of Jimin and V?
They do have a song together!
Check out FRIENDS by V and Jimin 💜
There's also Jungkook and Jimin's duet
Borahae💜💜💜
RM changed his name from rap moster to RM. He doesn't wanna be called rap moster anymore. RM now stands for "real me".
Yes, RM is the leader with Ssooo Ssoo much responsibilities
Actually it started after skul luv affair
aaah Brasil aqui ami
in Jungkook's part G.C.F was mentioned, it is what Jungkook calls his videos (golden closet film), there are few of them on their bangtantv channel. I'll leave the link of the one with the music you liked: th-cam.com/video/M1F1RxkXrDE/w-d-xo.html
Im so glad to see that you guys are enjoying the bts journey!! I feel the need to let you know that RM doesn't stay for Rap Monster anymore though! In 2017 Namjoon shortened it to RM which now stays for Real Me 🥰🥰🥰
Also, since you guys were curious about it too: "D boy" (from agust d) is a reference to the fact that Yoongi (aka SUGA) is from the city of Daegu!
A duet between V & Jimin can be seen in the song 'Friends' which incidentally was also featured in this year's movie release, 'Shang-Chi'.
You just need to react to the whole D-2 album at this point, it's my absolutely favorite and i'm sure you guys will love it
They don't let ego get in the way, and all support each other-together and in solo projects.
Check out This Is BTS by Xceleste. This one is narrated and gives you a lot more background on the group.
They said they will react to it
This is BTS releases tomorrow
@@GetSidewaysReacts main vocalist jungkook by Ida s… or jungkook king of acapella by Ida s when you do solo stuff…. She’s who made this video your watching right now lol
th-cam.com/video/w78NEej3ajc/w-d-xo.html
That’s the acapella one
He’s the main vocalist and only vocalist who is also a sub rapper and he’s the official “center of bts,” since day one even though he’s the baby of the group lol he was merely 15 when they debuted in all these important roles for their recording of music but also the live stages … he’s a little vocal prodigy … professional singers and coaches always flip over his falsetto and that it’s the best they’ve ever heard… his versatility is next to none and does all the vocal guides for bts music which makes his voice the literal foundation of their music lol however every single one has an extra special thing they do that no one else brings like they do…. And vocals are jungkooks area that he’s untouchable even though they’re all exceptional imo
In the documentary "the rise of bangtan" they talk in detail about how they ware put together and in the documentary "The most beautiful life goes on" they talk about it too
There is a Vlive from J-Hope from 2021 where he is chilling and freestyle dancing in the dance studio. He is really a great dancer. and it is pure joy to watch him freestyle dance The song Jin sang in the start of his part is Epiphany. You really should react to it as it is a beautiful and just lovely song.
Please react to Epiphany live performance!
Truly a visionary.
so happy to be so early! i love your reactions please keep them coming ❤️
Agree 100% (on both counts).
Agree with this. They can make it into a series, too! The quality and storytelling is amazing.
They're each others cheerleaders. 💜
I feel like they didn't show this in that video enough, but Jimin is also really known for his high notes. You should react to Let Me Know to see his most iconic one! :)
Also, Jimin and V have a song together called "Friends".
Thank you for the reaction. V and Jimin actually have a song together called Friends. You can react to it some time
Fun fact : V is a HUGE fan of the Jazz music .. he once said that he grew up listening to Jazz ^^
