Honestly, imagine a story arc of becoming friends with the wolf thing, showing him that not all humans are bad. Wholesomeness.
If I could write better I would have a whole novel series based on that concept. I love the thought of say, capturing a wendigo, and having Hannibal Lecter style conversations with it in your basement, slowly learning more about the Whys and What ifs of its world while slowly building a bridge to it seeing you as something other than prey

New concept for anyone interested in writing a rules story
Prompt: A long-term employee finds out that with a new boss and change in management, there are now new rules.
Now the employee breaking the rules would make even more sense, as him being not only skeptical but defiant.
I'm a librarian so I'm excited for this lol

I know a LOT of people have said this already, but I love these “list of rules” stories. Something about them is so appealing, despite the fact that quite a few of them follow the same general formula, ending with either the character hiding while writing the story or ending on a cliffhanger in a different fashion.

Honestly it would be really interesting to have a part two of this creepypasta. It was awesome not only because it was a "Rules" creepypasta, which already makes it pretty awesome, but also because it kind of set the stage for something great.

Little confused at the ending. He says he throws a match onto the wooden door... insinuating that it caught on fire. Then he went I to the woods to get more wood for said fire and got caught. But if the library is already beginning to burn why is James saying he won.

I’m guessing because it wasn’t fully burnt to the ground so he can easily put it out and get a new door but if you don’t stop talking to Jacob and telling him how he won blah blah blah the library will burn to the ground so maybe you need to get on top of that JAMES

That end reveal wasn't exactly surprising to me... I spent the whole second half of that entire story sitting there wondering how the main character was this stupid.
