Documentary: THE LEGACY OF ABDUL SATTAR EDHI

I interviewed Faisal Edhi few days after his father's death on 08th of July 2016. He was energetically busy running Pakistan's largest humanitarian help project from his main office in Karachi. He was naturally nervous about people's expectations to him after a father who had a legendary status in Pakistan. However, one could not trace any sign of change in Faisal's focus on those who Edhi sahib spend his whole life to protect and serve. Faisal Edhi started working with his guru and father in 1993.

I hope Faisal Edhi make his dad proud of him and make this foundation more global, he mention that his father did not get Nobel price, I think Nobel Pricing Institute does not have that level of award for him.
There are no horrors that Mr Edhi and his incredibly brave army of ambulance men have not witnessed, and the numerous lives they have saved.
What religion can be better then serving humanity?

One of my great Heroes, more than that, someone so sacred to humanity.
This man taught all religions by his actions what the written word tells us.
Responding to how one man could create a path for change, to establish a welfare state, he stated it will happen the day people will rise. He wanted Pakistan to be a model for Third World Countries, other poor nations.
But I believe his model is a path for the richer nations. I have worked in Paediatrics for 34 years in Hospitals, and I see the poor as invisible members of our nation without the safeguards that protect our standard of living. Edhi Sahib is the state of mind we need to aspire to because elitism in a culture, any culture, destroys the humanity towards our fellow man.
