  • Meet Pakistan's most-principled patriarch, Abdul Sattar Edhi. He feeds the hungry, cares for the sick, and defies the Taliban, bringing a message of love and peace to Karachi. When we were filming The Vice Guide to Karachi, things kept taking one dark turn after another, but when we met Edhi, one of Pakistan's living legends, he managed to give us hope.

    • @cocodakilla
      @cocodakilla 8 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      +Asfandyar Shafi her family said yes
      You're a fool if you think a 17 yr old is in control in these relationships. her body was developing and mind would develop years later. that is why old men seek girls. they're easily controlled.
      She is a groomed woman. She was groomed the moment she was engaged to him. She WOULD insult me. all groomed women and children have a vicious outburst if you insult their groomer or say the truth

    • @cocodakilla
      @cocodakilla 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I can back it up. Science and psychology back me up.
      As does an in depth knowledge about charities and how false they are.
      Asian mentality? Guess what. I just argued with some guy. He claims men who grow older with women their age see them get old. So men should marry young women and girls. This speaks volumes about WHY they would marry girls in the first place. See what I.mean?
      I'm not narrow minded. YOU are. Narrow minded people accept old mentalities. They accept awful things that went on in the dark ages.
      And it happens every single fucking day. Normal men and.women seek someone of their own generation and grow older together. This is the case for.most species including the human one.
      I have educated myself. While you rely on media brainwashing to educate YOU.

    • @cocodakilla
      @cocodakilla 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Omg.
      Can't you read? Most species including the human one are where people make lifelong partners. Or they're MEANT to. You are meant to get with someone young when YOU are young. It is not normal for old men to marry young Women and that is why it LOOKS wrong.
      You're meant to grow older together.
      Men who seek someone younger are ageist. You either want to exchange youth for wealth and power ( as documented with MOST cases in asia and africa) or the young person is a victim of grooming, manipulation and control which is given out by the older person (the other side of it)
      The.media promotes ageism against females via hollywood bollywood, fashion industry and the porn industry.
      Medieval marriages were coming to an end yet these industries started ageism up again.
      You need to go face reality. Not some nice lala land you have made in your mind.

      Psychology and science proved why it was wrong.
      Her choice? He asked her FAMILY. Do you know what child grooming is? You know how creepy it is for older men to spy on young girls and women in hope that they will get married to them? Theyre ageist. In pakistan even, girls are called old at 24. I'm sure he had nurses near his age.

      +rafay kashmiri he was like 40 and married a 17 yr old nurse that was being trained. seems like a typical old guy in pakistan. Lurking around looking for young girls. I know more respectable old men who look for women Their own age
      oh and edhi is being pushed into people's faces all the time. the numbers don't add up. It's like mother theresa!

      Coco Pops whats wrong with marrying younger than u, nurse or constable, teacher or Doctor, nothing important, attraction, youth,
      physique temprament, age difference is ideal if both are looking for mature & young desires.

      out of my ass? his actions spoke much louder. if he was decent he'd have married a much older woman near his age. Not been a typical pervert.
      this makes you wonder how he looked at girls.
      and at the beginning it even tells you they got donations AND political help.
      His personality didn't come close to what people assume he is. The way he talks! it's all there

    It's sad to see men like him not respected or even known of in our society, especially the Western one. It doesn't matter what nationality this guy possesses, but all I know that he is a human. A human who cares about other humans. In fact, this guy dedicated his life to a cause like this. All while we're revering people like Justin Bieber who pees in a bucket and people rub it off saying he's a teen. All while people praise Bruce Jenner who spends ample money for his absurd desire to turn himself into a woman while deserving people scrape and sweat themselves for money, only to be stolen from the rich. Now I'm not saying that we should worship him, but we should definately se him as an example for our society. Atleast some jackasses will realize...

    Facts that can be verified by anyone,
    1. Worlds largest ambulance service is being run by Edhi.
    2. Edhi wore only 2 pair of clothes for 20 years.
    3. Edhi officially named himself "father" for thousands of children who didnt know who their father was.
    4. we used to collect donations from people himself and use to stand on footpaths of Pakistan.
    And "middle class" donated him most. Not the ones who have billions.
    its an example for all of us; including me

    This man doesnt just work for humanity. He has opened many shelters for stray animals mostly dogs. He has a separate department for looking after the stray animals, grooming and breeding them and than selling the off spring to make money which goes back to the maintenance of shelter and feeding the animals
