I got my board last Thursday. Walked in with no prior knowledge but I know what graphic i wanted. The board was by Palace and they set me up with entry level trucks, wheels etc. They displayed the most expensive items and talked about how at the moment it doesn’t matter, to first figure out what I want from my board, it being speed, control or just smoothness. It was a bit expensive but to me it was worth putting together a board I wanted and how I wanted it at the moment. The nice thing is that you can swap things out so your board will almost always be unique. An extension of our personality
been skating for 6 months now. on my third deck. broke one and the other one had the worst razor tail. i can ollie, fs 180, and pop shuv. but i started because of you so thank you 🙏

Dude I love Pharmacy skate shop I’m from Australia and love the logo but the shipping makes it not worth it ! Also I broke 2 kingpins of Ace trucks but they’re really popular here But I love Thunder or Indy either or they’re both amazing

It is many years old and has horrible grip and razor tail. My favorite thing to do in the afternoon after school I'd to go down to a local basketball court and practice skating. I seal the primivtive neal itachi board on the wall. Was thinking about getting it for my first but wasnt sure if 8 is a good size for tall and size 12.
I got a pharmcy board and its shit the trucks are always messed up ether to tight or to loose or to much or to less pop no matter how tight or loose the trucks are its always imbalanced
How old are you? And is TH-cam ur main source of income ? Cuz ur car is dope and was wondering what model is it and year is it ? lol Ik a lot of questions sorry 😭
I think it doesn’t make sense to build it if it’s your first skateboard. A good quality complete one will still cost less money than trying to build one, and it will be more than enough for someone that just started. You don’t want to spend a lot of money on something you don’t even know you will like yet. The only thing you should be worried about is getting on a board asap and just ride, just get the feeling of a board and see if it’s your thing. There will be always time to upgrade.
Hey Yung Wavy I have a question bro so I am building the same board you have I was wondering if you ride a 8.5 size deck and also since the wheels are big (58mm) Will I need to get a riser pad to stop the wherl from rubbing on the deck,Do you have a Riser pad on your current main board?
Rica clouds do come in some really soft DR so ask what the DR is. Ive got a set of 78a DR rictoa's i use for crusty road street skating and they are like butter but i have 93a DR Powells and some 101a DR bones wheels because i want the right wheels for what im doing , where im doing it. Not all wheels are the same hardness even if they are the same brand.. come on, this is for newbies. Word them up as this told some young kid starting out NOTHING Trucks. Yeah he named the highest priced trucks but they come in high mids and lows. Nothing said about bushings and they matter but last of all he said nothing about concave ,the pressing of the deck. You get a deck you just hate the lack of or to much concave,you can just hate your deck and not skate it. Yes talk to your local skate shop and dont walk out with some venture highs with really soft bushings , a flat as deck with 101a DR wheels not suited to where you are planing to mainly skate. Being your first deck , id say its going to be in your street and you will rattle ypur fillings out on a really high board that the trucks are to floaty to have any control due to being so high and having soft bushings. Then the flat deck just gives you nothing on foot placement as a beginner. All sounds like a shit time to me if i did not know what to expect.

I’m new to skateboarding so I was thinking of getting a complete at first and eventually building my own once I’m comfortable with cruising/tricks
Good idea because a complete can be cheaper but still useable, just buy your complete at a shop other then Walmart
Unless your wal mart has Darkstar. They are good boards but, since they started selling at wal mart I’m not sure about the trucks or wheels
