Downgrading Windows 10 22H2 to 20H1

- Let's keep downgrading Windows! 22H2 and 20H1 are close enough that the downgrade works without major issues, and as you can see, it just works. Please don't do this on your main PC.

Fun fact: ever since 20H1, every single Windows 10Version has been based off the same branch, just artificial build changes and a enablement package.
The same can be said for 1909 which is also an enablement package of 1903 (19H1)

And if you enable the Windows version on the desktop, it will show the build 19041, which is the version 2004, or, 20H1, no matter what version do you use, 22H2, 21H2, 21H1,...

You need IDA? I downgraded from 21H2 to 21H1 using Auto Upgrade and it worked.
What is auto upgrade?
@@MSWinNT the option in the automct, you pick the version and there should be an auto upgrade option
I have a windows 10 22h2 install on a seperate disk with almost nothing on it (my 11 install has all my data) so should i try this since i have no data in the windows 10 install?

@@DumReviewGRC because it's the last version before they started adding Sun Valley design elements instead of adding features. (new icons, wallpaper, ...) basically stuff that was originally intended for Windows 10X (the UI transition began 2019, changes happened in Windows 10 at the same time 10X was released) 10X was then renamed to 11.
Ive been able to fully disable ipv6 by doing netcfg -u ms_tcpip6 however then DNS gives problems, can you find it with the IDA why where how to fix that further ? Thank you.
IDA isn't necessary for this, sounds more like your DNS is IPv6 only. Try changing it to something like 8.8.8.8 (Google Public DNS) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare DNS) and see if it works
@@laglife it breaks when I remove ipv6 stuff with winsock remove catalog then it breaks not by netcfg
