NBA Legends Explain how SCARY GOOD Charles Barkley Was (Jordan, Shaq, Magic..)

  • Charles Barkley was hands down one of the best Power Forwards in NBA history. He was such a phenomenal athlete in an awkward body frame. A trully odd and unique athlete. Dribbled like a point guard, size of a shooting guard, rebounded like a center. He doesn't get the credit he deserves!

The box out is actually about, strength, speed, endurance, techniques and mentality, people can jump as much and as high as they can but if you can make sure your opponents can't get close to the landing area of the ball or force them to stay on the ground so they can't jump, then you win it, but as i said " endurance " isn't something that everyone has and by " endurance " not just a normal athlete's endurance but superhuman 's endurance, you could see how Rodman or Barkley's rebound, mostly is

@@rayshardsmith2546 You're right, Chuck was a beast in Philly. Most of his 1st and 2nd All-NBA teams, were before the 92-93 season, when he was traded to Phoenix. While he won his only NBA MVP his first season in Phoenix and that was his only Finals. You're right, his best individual years were in Philly.
Chuck would have got his ring, if he arrived one year early. Dr J & Moses were getting older and that last chip, sorta emptied their tank. I just started watching ball as a kid with my dad in the early 80s. Charles is definitely one of the best PFs ever. The way he played in the 1993 Finals was incredible. Sir Charles was an absolute beast. As a kid I remember seeing his Sixers Starting Lineup in Caldor and knocking another kid down to get it. I was a Knick fan but cause of high prices I went to loads of Net games at Brendan Byrne/Meadowlands so I got to see him whole career along with MJ,Larry,Magic,Drazen,Nique,David,Stockton,Malone,TMC,Kidd,Buck,Patrick,LJ,Zo, Pistons,The Dream, and on and on

Those were great years to be a fan, I got to see a bunch of those players as well. I loved it back then but really appreciate it now, it was like the golden era of basketball to me.
Hakeem impressed me the most live, he was so big but would pivot around like a point guard. He was so quick for someone 7 feet tall.
Seeing Shaq in person was crazy too, such a huge human being.
Jordan was great to see as well of course and I loved seeing Kemp & Payton all those games.
      Stockton Malone....
So many great players back then.

People here talking about MJ not giving enough credit to Chuck. But i thought if MJ didn't thought that Chuck was this great, he will be totally demolished by Chuck for not giving the proper respect. MJ knows the game, he knows the player, especially the great players. And they also good friends tho. Its just his competitive nature. He knows that no other PF is better than Chuck in 90s era, even Karl.
