There's definitely not much footage of LS3 powered RZRs on TH-cam I saw one start and unload off a trailer and that was it good job on getting info and some footage that thing is a beast.
Thanks man! This is one of the coolest rzr builds I have seen this year. I think it's incredible that Jason is making it available to everyone in a kit. I haven't seen anything myself. I've known about this build for a few months now. Other than TMW Off-Road I'm not aware of any other builds.
Would have liked more info on it to be honest. Like what is completely included in the kit, the price, more info in the shocks, how he dialed them in for the weight, what rims and lug pattern he went with to pull this off. How much longer is the wheel base to be able to keep the back seats, which i thought was impressive. What transaxle is in it gearing and gears... You know basic questions like that for a builder to know and can get the ball rolling for their project.
Big fan of sxs blogs build but 2 thing i like more about this build is the simplicity and reliability of an ls and that this rzr looks like it can still be jumped

You need to switch you fill valves on the front reservoirs so they're on the top of the reservoirs. Just gotta mark where you want the valve, take the cap off the reservoir, and move the filler valve and the vent tube attached to it to the new location. There is a stainless part inside the cap that the tube fits through. When assembled correctly, it moves the oil pickup to the bottom of side of the reservoir. It's also important to do this for proper oil recovery back to the main cylinder of the strut.

A motor you should look into putting one a razer is the 4lt Barra turbo built by ford Australia. There’s one in a drag car over there and it’s pushing out 2500hp and now there is a built block which could push out 3500hp

Well 50k for the rzr 15k in up grades stock. Put at LSmotor in it motor: 10k tranns 10k misc: 4k new upgraded shock 10k. Tires 1400. Should of just got a duel sport sand car.
So you take the main PowerPoint away from the razor and add 400 lbs. Its pretty cool but with no awd its too heavy. Maybe add 33" ×12"s on the back for better speed. A sand rail for half the price would dust that thing.
You can get almost 400 horse out of some side by sides by upgrading the stock motor and no weight gain. Plus you keep awd........which was my main point.

I want to see a rs1 build with twin turbo busa engine. Or any of the following bike motors Suzuki hyabusa 1,350cc, BMW s1000rr, Kawasaki ZX 1,400cc, Yamaha R1m for the sand dunes or would be happy with any of the following if I was building a mud machine because a mud machine is built with giant tires with extreme tread hight for superior grip and traction so with that in mind you want to have plenty of torque to turn them tires and machine when deep in a mud pit so I would want to have a v twin or v4 like Ducati 1299 penagali R or Ducati v4r or even a giant 120ci Harley motor.
Lol it definitely has a ton of aftermarket parts in it. Think about it though, look at most of the nice RZR's. They are all full of aftermarket parts. Not much Polaris RZR left. Even in the full body's!
Much cheaper to build your own custom long travel buggy then too go this sorry ass route. Much respect and nasty build but many other ways to make it happen for alot cheaper.

I'm not sure. Prolly pretty good. Fuel capacity isn't really the mindset going into a build like this. I dont remember him saying if he changed the gas tank though. The gas tank in the RZR is 9.5 gallons stock in this unit. They didn't change until 2020 with the new models. 9.5 gallons is a pretty good range though. I'm just guessing but I'll bet it gets around 20+ mpg.
This build was more of a sand car trail riding car. The next one they are building is going to be more of a drag car with a Z1 engine that will be in the 1000 hp range.
I'm going to estimate that about $18G of the original $20G to buy the car, went straight into the dumpster. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just start with a custom cage and build the car off of that then buy the stock seats from Polaris? I do like the build though it solves all the problems that I hate about the SXS market.
Lol, the driver is one of the best in the country. You should see him in the Z1 turbo buggy hill killin. Buy the kit and try a twin clutch! I'd be curious to see it. Hawk Engineering sells a kit that that can be ran on the RZR'S like he has in the video.
He needs to put a Magnuson on it. This way he won't have to peel the sticker off the door. No way it's making more than 480-500 on pump gas. Even with a head&cam package. Very cool build though.

Hawk Engineering is one of the most respected companies in the UTV Industry. They have been innovators since the first RZR came out. They also make Z1 kits that produce 400 hp. They do their homework and do it right.

Our ZL packages on 5th Gen camaros with an LS3 AND 2300 Magnuson supercharger made 650Hp.(stock heads and cam) With months of research, dyno pull after dyno pull and endless resources that was it! 600 on a crate motor with pump gas.... that must be one magical tune.

That would be incredible! These axles should do the trick. They are rated for 1000 hp. RCV is among the toughest in the industry.
