2001 YZ125 Full Rebuild in 16 Minutes!

- I run a vapor blasting shop (@moto.scrub) that offers many dirt bike services. Full rebuilds being one of them.
Here a client dropped off their 2001 YZ125 to get rebuilt from the ground up!

Hey man just picked up a 01 yz125 runs like a dream want to do a complete restoration how much roughly in the ballpark am I looking at money wise? It came with a whole new plastic kit as well. Great work by the way!
I'm doing mine for under 300 and cost me 750 £ 1996 yz 125 running but ugly af
$2000+ Wheels, full engine rebuild, powder coat, suspension, full exhaust, bearings + seals, chains n sprocket, brake rebuild, brake lines, cables, plastics, grips n bars, other misc…

I'm looking at a 2001 Yamaha 125 TTR, what does the TTR mean? Also, would you say this is still a great bike to ride? Is it considered a great find?
I could be wrong but I dont believe it means anything other than to designate the type of bike it is (trail bike). It is a great bike to learn on and do trail riding but it would not be good for track riding. Hope this helps!
This video is on a YZ 125 (two stroke, lots of power). A 125 TTR is a completely different bike (125cc four stroke, kids bike)

Hey what size is that circlip for the clutch actuator it's the black clip for the silver tensioner
The part number for the circlip is: "93430-08053-00". Good luck!

When you blasted the cylinder did you have to cover the inside of the sleeve or did you just blast everything?
You have to cover the the inside. Vapor blasting can throw off the note size/ scratches the sleeve
The cylinder was carefully masked off for cleaning. Then prepped before installation. 👍🏻
How much does a rebuild like this cost ?
Thumbnail looks like an 02-up gas tank all you needed was the seat and subframe and you coulda done the conversion
Good eye! The customer wanted the OG look and found the correct gas tank for the build

hey, on which site did you find the complete screws for the outside of the engine? thank you.
The one in the video is a company called "Bolt Hardware". If they don't have it you can also try "Spec Bolt". I would recommend both 👍🏻

The customer had it powder coated at a shop unknown to me :/ ... Just make sure to look at some samples and I'm sure you can find one just as good!

Can you put the name of the peaces? To learn it more easy :) and if you can put the option wiht subtitol un spanish
Slow editing and too much time panning on unfinished bike? Finish it then pan over and over. All that trouble and used the old plastic design, get R tech kit and make it awesome....but good work for the most part...
