I blind purchased Tobacco & Tonka Bean from Burlington about 4 days ago. When I sprayed it in the car my daughter and I were both impressed. Great scent! Banana Republic seems to have some good scents.

Oh man, I've been sitting on the Tobacco and Tonka Bean for awhile. It's stunning juice! I get about 4 to 6 hours out of it off my skin. Excellent for the spring and fall. I don't smell it as much in the winter though. I also have Vintage Green but this is my favorite by a small margin. Still a few from the line I'm still looking for. Great reviews, as always!
I have 4 of the tobacco tonka bean. Picked up 3 bottles yesterday at my local Burlington, and yup, they're $22.99 each. I layered this one with my oud mosaic and WOW!
These are my two favorite! I have two backup bottles of each because during Christmas they were clearances for $5. Dark Cherry was my Christmas scent and it works well in 70 degrees weather. A pure gem! If you blend it with Ombre leather, you will have one of the most beautiful scent!

I found(smelled)the Tonka Bean before the Dark Cherry ,and think it swayed my opinion on the Cherry because the Tonka was so good ! My Girlfriend smelled the TB on me and grabbed the bottle and sprayed it on herself . the Box ,Bottle and juice are punch way above rack store price tag.

I’m on my second bottle of Dark Cherry & Amber. I love this fragrance and it’s very “layer friendly”. I tend to layer it with other gourmand scented body butters and oils. The opening is my favorite. It’s like this blast of 🍒 that hits you 💥. Very sweet 😋
So I was headed out earlier to get dinner and decided to pop in Burlington to see if they had this. Your review sold me on it and it’s definitely more powdery. I typically don’t like tobacco or overtly woodsy fragrances, but this smells GOOD. For anyone reading this, it’s definitely blind buy worthy. I also get some vanilla as well which is very nice. I didn’t pick up the cherry.
Here in Australia we Psy roughly $80-$121 dollars for a bottle of Dark Cherry and Amber. I picked it up at Fragrance net. I love this scent . So addictive and glad I got a bottle even though it was expensive for where I Live. 🍒
Went to 3 Burlington stores after work today and Got me some major steals but HIGHLY Suggest Banana Pure White , Black Walnut Legend and Black Platinum!!!!! Will be buying the rest of the Banana Collection soon. I wasn't expecting the scents from these colonges at all and was HIGHLY impressed!!!! Very suprising and pleasing scents!!!

Literally 2 hours after watching this vid I drove to my nearest Burlington and found the dark cherry and amber right away and I have to say I am in love with it. I am a sucker for a good fruity cherry note and this blew my expectations. I think for my next cherry centered cologne I should go with Guerlain l’homme edp or Tom fords lost cherry

I really feel that Banana Republic, as far as affordable designer fragrances goes - are some of the best! Better than Zara for example...Even at $25 a bottle, I mean, come on! Fantastic. Found the Tobacco one right away and after looking through all the men's fragrances I finally take a look over at the women's and boom, there's the Dark Cherry right in the front. I was so hype! There were a few other Banana Republic frags in the men's section I was considering but I really wanted these two

I haven’t run across the Dark Cherry & Amber yet. I grabbed Tobacco & Tonka Bean about a year ago and I’m like you… It won’t be used until the temps below 70 degrees. WITH noooo or very low humidity. All below 70’s weather is not created equal🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️. Especially in NOLA.
I layer Tobacco and Tonka Bean with 83 Leather Reserve (also from Icon line) for a nice cold weather scent… 👏🏻 I got these for $5 at rack store last winter. Just picked up Dark Cherry and Amber last month and look forward to wearing it during the holiday season. 🎅

Tobacco and Tonka Bean eluded me for a year. I like that scent a lot, but on my skin, the tobacco isn’t as present as I thought it would be. Dark Cherry & Amber has eluded me since I started collecting fragrances, I hope to find that one soon. Great pick ups Ross
I sprayed Initio Side Effect on my right arm and Tobacco & Tonka Bean on my left arm and waited for the dry down. I couldn't notice the difference on the dry down. On the opening they smell quite different, the dry down very similar.
Picked up Tobacco and Tonka last summer and wore it often this past fall/ winter…solid scent for $20 ! Still gotta try the cherry one…hopefully grassland pops up

I purchased both at a burlington . I gave both away, Cherry to a female, Tobacco to her son. Agree scent is beautiful on both but cherry lasted about 30 minutes before skin scent and tobacco lasted about an hour. That was only fault I could find, the just didn't last.
Love this scent. Had to order a full bottle. Here in Australia we pay $80 -$ 121 dollars for a bottle of it. It’s an addictive scent. The Cherry stays around on my skin. It’s not syrupy . Not missing the almond note. I don’t get the Baccarat Rouge comparison though. 🍒
Not even gonna lie bro.... I've gone through 3 bottles of TaTB and I've got over 150 bottles from the years. From super niche to some designers. Tobacco and tonka is just spectacular. I wish there was a fragrance out there that smelled 90 percent the same but richer and more powerful. That opening needs to last longer . One of the best I've ever smelled. It's tied with angels share
Just revisited the Dark 🍒. You nailed it! Definitely was the sour part that makes me not like it that much. After hearing you say “sour cherry” and revisiting the fragrance I can actually smell past the sour note to the heart of the cherry and amber. My nose is getting so much more acute. Thanks Ross for all the time you put in for us. Creating content, photography, EDITING… the list goes on.🤝🏻
Had them, wore them, liked them. But couldn’t really figure out when to wear them. Wife also didn’t like, so off they went. Preferred the cherry over the tonka. I get an artificial sweetness from the tonka that feels a little thin, but I get why people like them.
I've been seeing these at my Burlington how was the longevity? These fragrances go for $65 plus on fragrancenet I always wonder why they cost so much there.

Dark Cherry's dry down loses the cherry pretty quickly, can you do a full review of it including the dry down. I was disappointed in it. Loved the opening, didn't like the dry down at all.

I have both of these but the Cherry Amber doesn’t last long. If you can find a neroli or pure white, try them, they are good ones.

Found Grassland and Walnut Legend bot EDPs for $20 each at Ross a couple of days ago, really wish they had Metal Rain or Tobacco and Tonka Bean.
I sprayed it(Cherry) for work day after I got it to test it and it rocked with me well into the evening.

Love both of these, my younger sister wears Tobacco and Tonka everyday. And that Cherry note in Dark Cherry is awesome, but it fades in 20 minutes.

Out of the 2 tobacco and Tonka bean is the one I like so much so that it is in my rotation this week but the dark cheery and amber is too sweet for me
I purchased both at a burlington . I gave both away, Cherry to a female, Tobacco to her son. Agree scent is beautiful on both but cherry lasted about 30 minutes before skin scent and tobacco lasted about an hour. That was only fault I could find, the just didn't last.

Tonka and tobacco sounds interesting.Tabacco and coffie my fav notes but I love Tonka also so yeh im going to keep my eye open for that here in Sc.
Love this scent. Had to order a full bottle. Here in Australia we pay $80 -$ 121 dollars for a bottle of it. It’s an addictive scent. The Cherry stays around on my skin. It’s not syrupy . Not missing the almond note. I don’t get the Baccarat Rouge comparison though. 🍒

Not even gonna lie bro.... I've gone through 3 bottles of TaTB and I've got over 150 bottles from the years. From super niche to some designers. Tobacco and tonka is just spectacular. I wish there was a fragrance out there that smelled 90 percent the same but richer and more powerful. That opening needs to last longer . One of the best I've ever smelled. It's tied with angels share
I've heard initio side effect maybe similar to TaTB, but I haven't gotten my nose to it.

Just revisited the Dark 🍒. You nailed it! Definitely was the sour part that makes me not like it that much. After hearing you say “sour cherry” and revisiting the fragrance I can actually smell past the sour note to the heart of the cherry and amber. My nose is getting so much more acute. Thanks Ross for all the time you put in for us. Creating content, photography, EDITING… the list goes on.🤝🏻

purchased both of these a few months ago. the cherry one is definitely female leaning.
Had them, wore them, liked them. But couldn’t really figure out when to wear them. Wife also didn’t like, so off they went.
Preferred the cherry over the tonka. I get an artificial sweetness from the tonka that feels a little thin, but I get why people like them.

I've been seeing these at my Burlington how was the longevity? These fragrances go for $65 plus on fragrancenet I always wonder why they cost so much there.
Imo Tobbaco and Tonka Bean smells like Rum with Vanilla and the Tobbaco is present but faint. Its also a wet tobbaco
I'm not kidding. I just picked both of these today at Burlington. They are awesome. My wife is all about the dark cherry and amber. Went to sniffing me the minute I put it on.
The Burlington closest to me sucks. They barely have anything good. Just came back from there and the only Banana Republic one they had was the Cardamom one. Gonna try another Burlington next week.

They also had the Dark Cherry & Amber... and now I'm kicking myself for not grabbing that, too. Guess I'll be going back soon.

Dark Cherry's dry down loses the cherry pretty quickly, can you do a full review of it including the dry down. I was disappointed in it. Loved the opening, didn't like the dry down at all.
At my Burlington, All banana republic fragrances are still 1999 unless it’s a smaller size
Ross, I literally went to a Burlington this past night (after guiding my brother to buy Y Le Parfum from Macy’s as his new signature scent lol) and saw both of these fragrances on the shelf. I remembered seeing the fragrances on your channel but only bought Tobacco and Tonka Bean…should I go back and scoop Dark Cherry and Amber? They were both still $23
