Shortly after the events of Resident Evil 4 in 2004, the bioterrorist organization Il Veltro launches an attack upon the Mediterranean city of Terragrigia, using biological organic weapons (BOWs), in opposition to the city's development of solar energy relay system that provides it with power via an orbital satellite. The Federal Bioterrorism Commission (FBC) attempts to maintain control over the city as it is plunged into chaos, but the overwhelming attack prompts FBC director Morgan Lansdale to use the satellite to torch the city in intense solar energy. FBC agents Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat oversee the evacuation of the FBC's base and escape before Terragrigia is destroyed by solar rays. A year later, Parker and Jessica join the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA). After BSAA agent Jill Valentine and Parker investigate a possible resurgence of BOWs near the ruins of Terragrigia, BSAA head Clive R. O'Brian reports that their colleagues Chris Redfield and Jessica went missing while investigating rumors of Veltro's possible reappearance. The pair are sent to investigate their last known position, which is an abandoned cruise ship called the Queen Zenobia. Searching the ship, the pair are tricked into believing Chris is being held in a room, and are rendered unconscious. Meanwhile, Chris and Jessica confirm that Veltro is operating at an airstrip in the mountains. O'Brian then orders the pair to track down Jill and Parker after discovering that he had given them false intel regarding their colleagues, and sends two other BSAA agents, Quint Cetcham and Keith Lumley, to investigate the airstrip. Unpopular opinion; but RE: Revelations deserved a film adaptation just as much as any other product in the franchise. If you can get past the dated (by the standards of today) graphics, this story would have made for a fantastic movie (...and lets face it, the ACTUAL Resident Evil movies don't exactly set the bar high).
If by movie you mean one of the CGIs than yes I agree. It’s funny, I’ve seen a lot of people saying the latest one Death Island should’ve been Revelations 3, it is interesting to note both Rev game’s focus around islands if not water in general
I highly doubt that they can make a decent movie adaptation. I hate Netflix for recent Resident Evil Serie. It was just awful and pathetic. And "Welcome to Racoon City" is just like watching fan made video on TH-cam. Paul Anderson's movies were not good either but not that bad, compared to those ones. Everytime I want to watch Resident Evil movies I came here for game movies.
I like the video, the game and the final twist. On the other hand, the incoherences about the virus epidemic destroyed my mood hahaha They keep saying that they need to stop the virus from reaching the sea (Jill already knows that there are zombies coming from the sea and Chris already knows that there is was a big aquatic zombie closer to the ship) and Jill loves to touch infected zombies and infected materials with her bare hands hahaha
Resident evil 9, I want Chris and Jill back. Throw Rose Winters in there too if you want. Half the reason I play these games is following the story and characters and we haven’t gotten good Jill content since RE 5. Maybe Jill, Claire and Rose with some Chris sprinkled on top
Fr, even worst for like keeping Parker and the Snow Duo alive. Especially for Parker, had such an emotional cutscene which lost all meaning at the credits. Only for not use Parker in any game ever.
Interesting game. One thing I can't help but think over and over playing or watching any Resident Evil or Silent Hill game is how valuable having lockpicking as a skill would be. Seriously, how many times are they going somewhere or exploring and come across a locked door halting their progress?
Its really impressive how capcom managed to tell such a great story and a great game on a 3DS. So good that it got a Console version with not much changes to the gameplay.

Thanks! Replaying the HD port on my Steam Deck and some of the cutscenes dont play, due to some proton shenanigans. It was easier to watch the affected scenes here than doing a bunch of shit to get it running properly 😅
When I was playing this game, every time a BOW comes up, all I can think of is LADY GAGA! (Especially their feet, the feet looks EXACTLY like lady Gaga’s ugly ass shoes lol). So whenever I’d run into a BOW on the boat, i just tell myself it’s lady Gaga 😂😂😂
