  • Arthritis in the joints of the hands can result in pain and in difficulty managing the activities of daily living. While advice should be sought from your GP or rheumatologist regarding any relevant medical management, there are strategies and aids to assist you in managing daily tasks. Join us as Josephine Gibbs-Dwyer, an occupational therapist and accredited hand therapist, outlines these strategies and aids. Josephine is assisted in the webinar presentation by Ellie Fitzgerald, who has recently completed her studies in occupational therapy.
MSK is grateful to Janssen Australia for their sponsorship of this webinar.

Voltaren Emugel is good for the hands but must be applied over time with caution. Magnesium and or Epsom salts bath (full body bath or hands). These can be bought in bulk very cheaply.
