The reason they don't look terrible is that they are very pricey, 'high-end' wigs ($150 for a synthetic bob and around $2,000 USD for the blonde Freedom Couture wig).

OMG, then I try braids and that was absolutely beautiful but my hair started to go thin, OMG since then I learn to wear wigs, and its been so much fun, my hair is back to normal and healthy and I get to wear different colours all the time with out damaging my own. yay!!!🧚🏻♀️

If you corn row your real hair, pull the wig back a little, and layer it to frame your face it will look more realistic. Yes we can tell it’s a wig because of the thickness from top to bottom. It’s not your fault it’s just the way it was constructed

Your wigs are nice, but are super noticeable that they are not real. Pluck the front part of the hairline to create baby hair. On your side part put concealer on it to blend it in more and so people cannot see the color of your cap. Cut and pluck your side hairs to create side burns.

I always wear wigs , I absolutely love how they make me feel as I’ve never been able to grow my hair past shoulders and it’s extremely thin . Bad genetics unfortunately. You can easily make baby hairs on any wig by just pulling down stands and using a razor comb . I personally don’t think they suit me and it looks more wiggy. On black ladies I love the look though . I sew a band in also , I tend to set my wigs just back from my hairline as I have a windows peak ( imagine lol ... what was god thinking when he came to my hair though 😂) then I use a tiny blob of got2b glued just to secure the part where it meets my hair . Got2b glued is an excellent product I love it .

Go to the beauty supply store, the ones black girls shop at lol, but seriously go to the big beauty supply store otherwise you'll just have to look online and take a chance on what you think would look nice on you. I'm in the same boat as you Jersey. Sad face. The wig world is like being in a new club. LOL I bought a couple crappy ones from a facebook ad. Won't make that mistake again. Gonna have to save up some $$ to get a realistic one. The cheap facebook ones are okay as long as I wear a hat, but I want to wear a wig without a hat and also have it look natural.
You need to find out why your hair is falling out and address that too. Theres tons of stuff if you have a medical issue to help!
