Lol its always so trippy to me to see non-black people using hot combs now. I remember when I was a kid and casually told my (non-black) friends how my mom straightened my hair and they were shocked and scared about the fact that my mom heated up a cast iron comb on the stove and put it through my hair xD But I guess as wigs get more popular people are using them for multiple purposes now

I mean let's be honest, this spares your hair from going through the ringer and the African American community knew it all along. So if you feel like "changing it", which if you're a woman ... I've noticed that we're into that looooool, for like a couple of days and trying out a new funky color or wear it straight if it's cury (Or the opposite)... This is the best way to go about it. Not by damaging our own hair.
This is the best wig tutorial video I have watched. You kept it simple and focused on the topic. The blonde looks really good on you. I have watched other videos but they seemed more complicated because they were long and drawn out unnecessarily. I also think that it's easier for non black females to understand the wig installation when someone whose skin tone is closer to their own is teaching how to install the wig. Hair types are different so it's just easier to understand when it's someone I can relate to.

Wow, this is pro the most easiest to understand wig application! Im half Black and Asian so I have long, thick wavy hair so I was confused why wigs looked weird? It was because it was bulky and I didn’t lay my hair down properly. This is seriously the most comprehensive tutorial. Cool, I can try this again lol

Soul ASMR you are are going to have to ask hd lace because it’s easier to tint lace than it to lighten it. and bc your a beginner that’s be your best option because most lace has a brownish tint to it.

I hope it worked out for you. I have a small forehead so I have been having trouble. I need to buy a better quality wig so that I can truly assess and figure out what works for me without my forehead looking like it collides with my eyebrows or that my hairline starts curving over my head which is definitely NOT a good look lol
I would recommend gluing the wig/lace before cutting the lace. It give a more precise cut, makes sure you're not cutting off too much or too little, and makes the lace stay flat without rolling or riding up.

I’ve been wanting to buy wigs (quarantine hair :/) but I’m such a beginner I have NO idea where I can get a reputable *ethical* humane (or quality synthetic?) wig, at a reasonable price. I’m such a beginner I don’t even know what a reasonable price would *be* for a gorgeous natural looking BUT beginner-friendly wig Let alone without getting ripped off by all the shady companies out there
Honestly a good wig can range between 60-200 dollars. Just make sure there’s a part, and it’s not thick and bulky In the front if that makes sense. As she said lace fronts can be the easiest to make look natural. And don’t cut the lace before you put the wig in, you want to make sure the wig is on, and also like she said make sure you don’t cut he lace straight across, and if you think the color of the lace looks a bit off, with your skin tone, just apply concealer or foundation, and just adjust it, but don’t glob it on lol. :))
That looks amazing really suites you i watched this video as ive never worn a wig before just hair pieces that clip in & have had glue extentions in the past which messed up my hair from then really . I recently went back to short hair but fill as if its to short now & im finding it hard to style it now it's alot shorter so i fancied the thought of trying a wig it all looks like alot of messing around though especialy if your'e not sure what youre doing or used to putting on a full head wig . @@channelcoconut6830 I agree, use rubbing alcohol and don't forget to pull the lace gently backwards, not towards your face or else it'll rip out your baby hairs. I'm new but got that tip from a different tutorial

Honestly a good wig can range between 60-200 dollars. Just make sure there’s a part, and it’s not thick and bulky In the front if that makes sense. As she said lace fronts can be the easiest to make look natural. And don’t cut the lace before you put the wig in, you want to make sure the wig is on, and also like she said make sure you don’t cut he lace straight across, and if you think the color of the lace looks a bit off, with your skin tone, just apply concealer or foundation, and just adjust it, but don’t glob it on lol. :))

That looks amazing really suites you i watched this video as ive never worn a wig before just hair pieces that clip in & have had glue extentions in the past which messed up my hair from then really . I recently went back to short hair but fill as if its to short now & im finding it hard to style it now it's alot shorter so i fancied the thought of trying a wig it all looks like alot of messing around though especialy if your'e not sure what youre doing or used to putting on a full head wig . I also don't like the thought of useing any hair glue again although i know it has to be put on firm to hold it on , is there no other easier way to apply a wig lol still youres really looked nice & realistic .

One question, do I really need to put glue? How you remove the wig if is glued to your head? I guess is a gentle glue with the skin

im a teen w trich, ive had it since october of 2023. i switched to homeschool before it got bad and tbh it just made it worse, since i’ve been bored and sad 24/7. i couldn’t even wear certain outfits cause i always had my hair up and it looked off. about to get a wig and follow this tutorial, i hope your trich gets better soon, it really sucks
