After much searching, asking and listening to reviews I’ve just ordered the Yani AWO20 straight from the factory. Love the build and sound of the bronze Elite models. Guess you know what’ll I be dreaming about for the next month until it arrives!
Tried one today it stood head and shoulders above the other 5 instruments I tried in a blind test. Thank you for your review which directed me towards this instrument. Love all your reviews as you have such a nice manner and way of talking about these beautiful pieces of engineering.
I had a Yani soprano back in the 70s, and really enjoyed it. I changed to Yamaha in the late 70s with all my horns. I've heard that Yanigasawa is making some great instruments these days, and I am extremely curious as to how the pro models sound with my setup!
This may sound dumb. But do all of your purchases transfer to the same price in USD??? You guys have the lowest price on a product I really want and before I go through the process and try to get everything shipped here I would like to know
Hello Jim, I wonder why you didn't use your SR tech mouthpiece but the Meyer here. I would have been very curious to compare it with the A901 which sounds very full with the SR tech. Now with the different mouthpieces they are hard to compare.
Jim, everytime you amazing me with your personal sound. I have one question tho.. I apologise to everyone maybie my question isnt placed on the exact place but, you are really competent and i seek for answer for you. Can you compare this saxophone to YAMAHA YAS62? I know that you have review in your channel for that saxophone. Friend of mine has YAS62C. The saxophone got original YAMAHA neck but it isnt G1 neck. And i asume that this YAS 62C saxophone isnt new one i mean isnt produced these 2-3 years ago. He is selling his saxophone. Do you or someone of your colleagues tryed sax like this and can u give me short feedback what you think. Thank you very much in advance. Best regards. Steve
Hi Stephan, thanks for your kind comments. The YAS62's prior to the G1 neck series still sounded great, in my opinion. However, the G1 neck definitely opened up the sound of the 62, giving a bit more overall breadth and depth. The modern 62's now have an 'E' neck (not marked on the sax - it actually just says '62 on the neck now) and these necks are slightly less open, you might say a bit of a compromise between the older 62's and the G1 generation. The idea is to make the intonation and resistance feel a little more accessible for less experienced player. I've not done a direct comparison between the modern 62 and the WO1 yet, but they are going to be in a similar ball-park. The W01, for me, has definitely gone a little more focussed, and the sound has warmed a little. It's a nice direction!
I have yanagisawa T 50 ..that's what saxophone class. beginner intermediate or professional ????? actually i also have it. but i do not get any information about that. Please anwer. Thank's
Check your embouchere, develop your tone and intonation. and PRACTICE, PRACTICE, AND MORE PRACTICE! Sorry, but this is the only way. All the very best with it!
Ive been playing one of these for a couple of months now and love it! The only problem I've found is if I play C6 forte or above it seems to make a weird gurgling/buzzing sound? does anyone else have this?
Thanks for the video! I've read that the new front F key is redesigned from the 99x series. True? I've found that the 99x series front F key was a bit too flat (shaped) for my taste...

www.sax.co.uk/rampone-cazzani-r1-jazz-curved-sopranino-sax-ag-silver-plated-special-order.ir
Hi sax.co.uk, will you be keeping the Yani AW01 models all year round in the showroom in Crowborough?
inventingstudios We will try our best, we do want to keep one of these in all the time.
Sax .co.uk
Great I'll be over in late October then.
Is there a true differance between a curved sopranino and a straight one?
Not really, it's mainly where the sound comes out at the end of the day.
How does the high f key on a Bari break and is it common
apologies, I don't think I understand your question, drop us an email to discuss this....
Can you test out the Mac Sax Empyreal?
