I had the same problem with my 2005 Touareg, my mechanic solved the issue by replacing 2 tires, apparently all 4 tires have to match, issue solved.

I have a touareg 2008, and it might have the same problem because i change 2 tires in the front. 2 in the front 265/65/17 and the back ones are 255/60/17. When i accelerate around 40mph there is a big noise like my shaft is broken. I will try to match all tires to see how it goes like you did. Thank you so much for sharing

I have same error. And the buttonn for 4x4 from inside int not have power. Do you know which are the fuse for that? Thank you

Suspension dont work, and red letters say running gear fault or something like that. And i have that fault 00003 -014 defective ecu for air suspension adress 43 i think

Check for Control Module Software Update

End up changing new ecu for level control and it fox the problem
