I agree Tilapia are great eating but the rules in Queensland are very clear. This is directly from the website. “You must not keep, feed, give away, sell, or release tilapia into the environment. If you catch these species, you must immediately humanely kill and dispose of them by burying them above the high-water mark or disposing of them in a nearby bin.”
@AdamKilpatrick cheers mate your the 2nd you tuber that I've seen with one so I had to find out and price isn't a problem being a tax deductible item 😉
Hoping you are feeling better... another fun day on the Dam...
6lb line and a big fish makes everything feel better
@@AdamKilpatrick so good you are on the up and up...loving the video still and hopefully the algorithms is still kind.
So cool
Awesome work mate! Little fillets look tasty
Nothing better than fresh!!
Such an easy way to cook too. Working on a few catch and cook recipes for the air fryer.

They are awesome tasting.
That they may be however the laws in Queensland prevent taking of them.
Try to come here in the philippines, theres a lot of dam to catch tilapia.
Would love to come over some time to go fishing.
Too bad u disposed the Tilapia, they are great eating. Try it :) Ty for the video and congrats to 10k! Living the grind mate.

@@AdamKilpatrick ah so u are not allowed to eat them? That's kinda weird isn't it
More food on the tilly than the rest of the fish combined 🤣
I’d have knocked the fillets off before burying the bugger personally.
Unfortunately it’s against the law in Queensland even though they are a delicious eating fish, I don’t make the rules but have to follow them.
Good video video mate, all I get at wivenhoe is Catty's 😅 I like your camo flap hat where did you get it please 🙏 I must have one 😊
It’s a “Sun Protection Australia Adapt-a-Cap” and I got mine at BCF.
A bit pricey but they are cool and work great.

Yukky blubber lip tilapia i dont like eating em, my mate pulled 32 of them in a 3 hour session outta Somerset couple weeks back, rhe Filipino love em
They are a great fun fish to catch though, especially when you get a good one on 6 pound line.
You dont need look like your starving mate.Let baby fish grow
They are not baby fish. Barred Grunter are a small fish. That’s why they have a bag limit and not a size limit.
dont worry bout the grunter. eat the tilapia
In Queensland you can’t actually keep them legally. You have to destroy and dispose of them.
